I was bit hesitant to try this place again. For sometime it had been closed and I wasn’t sure if this is the same place as the one who closed down. My coworker insisted to go anyway. When we got inside I surprised to see how different it was and how well the decor looked and felt. The reception was a bit cold, the girl who welcomed us had no smile nor warmth in welcoming. She may be having a bad day possibly. It looked like she was the only person working as a waitress. There was another girl who later appeared but that was all.I was trying really hard to get a smile or something other than a stern face from the waitress but I had to give up. She seemed concerned or upset or nervous.I ordered my food and ordered also spicy salsa. The first round of chips were cold and stale. The salsas were good but a bit bland.I was starting to loose hope with how the food was going to turn out. Things were not looking good.When my food arrived, and took the first bite of my food! What a surprise! The quesadilla was actually good! The fajita meat was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans were surprisingly good too! I ate every bit of it. I hope to come back and have a larger version of that quesadilla.Thanks for everything and I really hope the waitress feels better and our next visit she is in a better mood.I also visited the gift shop. There were some cool things!

Great place to stop for dinner, staff is super friendly and accommodating, the back patio is very pleasant with good atmosphere. Place is kids and dog friendly. They even closed the back patio door so my baby would quit running away!

everyone was on their phone and seated in the dining area and had no clue they had customers, bad attitude at check out. Food was warm but you could tell it had sat in a warmer for a while. Definitely under seasoned. Asked for a highchair and the hostess said “yeah” and then proceeded to go sit down and play on her phone for like five minutes and then boy get it when she heard me finally say something again.

In town for an event and love tex mex so we decided to try this place. Everything was good...chips and salsa, margaritas and our entrees. Only negative about the food was the rice was not Mexican rice and had little flavor. The hostess was very distracting. It took her a while to seat us and when she did she spent most of the time chatting loudly with the table next to us. I usually don't complain about stuff but I felt this needed to be addressed. We will come back if in town again.

Extremely disappointing service today. Our waitress was very rude and visibly rolled her eyes at our requests, which weren’t egregious. The requests were for a refill of chips and extra sour cream. She never refilled our drinks, and even after asking for a second basket of chips twice, and even going up to her and requesting them a third time, she never brought them. Which is extremely disappointing since we ordered queso that we basically could barely eat due to never getting more chips. We will not be back, and will not recommend this restaurant.

Our waiter was super kind 10-10...the food... horrible. O flavor. If you want flavorless "house" caso, bland pinto beans and over cooked rice then go ahead. Corona Rita and Habanaro Rita was good! Bathroom and restaurant had the dim lighting going for them...I guess...we got the Adobe burrito and tamale dinner....I dont recommend ither one.

Food and service were good. Prices were very reasonable. Best beans I have ever eaten as a side in a Tex-Mex meal. Tasted fresh and weren't as dry as most beans are that you get as a side. A/C felt good after a long drive. The beef in the taco was generous and tasted good. Only downside, I liked the way the salsa was served, but I didn't like the taste. Not your usual canned salsa so I assume they make their own but I didn't like the flavor. I appreciate their attempt though.

This place has good points and bad points. The service is great. The food is hot. The building & atmosphere are great. The salsa is quite good, although too hot for many, I would guess.However... the food can barely be called Mexican. Tacos are bland and hard shell. Everything was smothered in a cheese sauce. The chile relleno was close, but not quite. The rice was good, if you're wanting rice pilaf. The beans seemed to be Ranch Style beans.All in all, it was acceptable for Mexican-style food in America. My search continues for Authentic Mexican in SE Oklahoma...

Was passing through with my mom, the chips and salsa tasted like it's came from the grocery store. We ordered nachos with the mix of steak and chicken. It took way to long to make our food and once we finally did recieve our dinner the chips were the same store bought chips only burnt now and the entire plate was mostly beans. It was so overpowering with beans that I felt sick afterwards. We also ordered tea and it was awful, I added 4 lemons and xtra packets of sweeter to be able to drink it. The only option they have for diet beverages is diet coke. My order was also made without any chicken the first time. Also their prices to do not meet their quality at all and I do not recommend dinning here.

This place is a joke, I’ve lived in Atoka for 7 years, I went here for the first time since I’ve been here, and I absolutely regret even trying. The beans and rice are not authentic at all, the rice looked like white rice with a little seasoning on it to change the color slightly, the beans were whole beans with some mashed up to make it look like refried beans. The queso, oh man. Think the Tostitos canned queso, but worse. It looked exactly like it but tasted worse. The guacamole… it was just mashed avocado, no seasoning no other veggies involved just avocado, the salsa was good. I got the chicken quesadilla, for one my meal was room temperature… which was very concerning. The chicken was over seasoned but just seasoned with salt and pepper… the wait time was bad, but we did show up on a busy night. There’s hardly any seating in the waiting area, the two hostesses weren’t communicating properly at all so when one would leave and the other would come back so expect the same questions to be asked, our waitress was very attentive, and nice. The building is beautiful inside and out, the atmosphere is very nice. The food is just horrible and a joke of Mexican or even Tex-Mex. Please if you’re going to go to a Mexican restaurant here in Atoka go to Cazadorez for authentic Mexican food. For Tex-Mex, just stick with Chili’s. Don’t bother with this place.

I am a latino person that has lived in mexico and south Texas where the mexican food variety is extensive. I was on a job trip for over a month in the northen states and was traveling south back home when I noticed this restaurant on the way. I stopped as it said mexican grill but was suprised when the only mexican thing about this restaurant was the vibe, as the food and drinks were more american than the food you find at a taco bell which is nothing near good.

We stopped in because we read they were dog friendly. Boy was that an understatement! They loved our little dog, she got lots of attention from the staff. I could be picky and point out some things here and there that could be better with the food/service, and it seemed like maybe our waitress was new, didn't ask if we wanted another round of beers or dessert etc. but you know it was so friendly of a place we won't hold any of that against them and we'll be back next time we are in the area.

Saw some of the negative reviews and I can’t see what their complaint is about. Place had friendly servers and were quick to seat me and get my drink. Took my order quickly and had my food in less than ten minutes. Tasted fresh cooked and was a great steak street taco. Salsa and chips were ok as well. Food and service here were great and the menu has a lot of the typical Tex-mex selections. It was lunch time and they weren’t really busy. Waitress Jesse was friendly and quick despite being new to the place. Great all around experience. Don’t hesitate to try this place if you’re here and looking for Mexican style food.

Don't waste your time going to this place. There wasn't nothing Mexican about it. The wait was long, the food was below average, and the portion sizes were small especially for how expensive it was. I couldn't get over how disgusting even the salsa was. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the actual Mexican restaurant down the road. Oh, and many of the girls working had on athletic shorts, t-shirts, and didn't even have their hair pulled back. They looked sloppy and unprofessional. One of my bottom 3 Mexican restaurants I've eaten around the country.

When we checked in and added our name to the list the person told us the wait was like 15 to 20 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes and they kept taking other parties who had gotten there after us. They used the excuse it was because the size of the party. We had 5 people. It's not that difficult to sit 5 people. They didn't even apologize for the extended wait. You know It's bad when they call yet again another party who came in after us and the head of that party says hey they were here before us, their party had 4 people. I don't like to make this next statement but if the observation fits...our party was the only one that came in with people who were not white. This establishment needs to do better. In regards to their food it lacks authentic Mexican flavors. It could best be describe as more of an American flavor Mexican food place.

Chips were stall. Salsa tasted like cold tomato sauce with slight spice. It felt like the least authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I did not even see a single Mexican waiter everyone was literally white and the menu felt American. It felt like the entire restaurant was made by Americans trying to make a Mexican restaurant. It took a long time to get our order. The service was a little good because at least they checked on us for refills. Then the worst thing happen. My burrito order was horribly wrong as I asked for no meat and made it clear and it came full of ground beef. I am a vegetarian so it was kinda annoying and I straight up accidentally ate a tiny bit so like the heck and it made me feel really sick after and just bad like I straight up almost threw up and was spitting constantly in the bathroom and felt like I was going to pass out. Even after they got my order back correctly it was pretty gross and the metal plate they gave it to me on was burning hot and they said nothing and when I was trying to cut open my burrito to really check this time I the plate did not burn me but it was very painful. I had to transfer the whole burrito to a different plate and after all that, I had really lost my appetite and felt sick then just left frustrated, and very disgusted. I will never return to this cursed place. Would not recommend. Wish I could give -5 stars. 😡😤
