Employees are great charging for bags is b.s it’s a courtesy to customers who already pay a bit more in your stores you say it’s only 10 cents but that’s just it for the premium you have your customers pay it’s bad form. So the response was this and I get a message about sustainability and how pet parents can take pleasure in a that a “portion” goes to this. That’s admirable if it wasn’t a tax write off for these companies not an excuse at all. Your mark up is high and they could give a portion of that once again a tax write off. This is nothing more than a cash grab. Your response doesn’t mean a thing because if you were that green minded you would donate the entire amount as the bags are a cost of doing business. These companies don’t give a rats rear end about the environment and it shows

I have a refillable bucket that i get at your store. I have 3 large boxes and 7 cats so i clean boxes dailey. I noticed a 40 pound bag and used some rewards points which gave this Senior citizen a little break on the price. The cats and i like that the litter isnt dusty. The employees are courteous and kind,and ready to assist me. Koodos!!!

We pay for aquatic care monthly because we buy quite a few fish, as we're always adding new tanks.Problem is, this location has their fish "under observation" pretty much all the time. Over the last 6 months, I've been unable to purchase mollies at all. They even had a molly sale last month and they couldn't sell any mollies because they were quarantined the whole time.In the amount of time these fish have been sick, I could've cycled new tanks and replaced stock. Good luck buying a fish here.Edit: The aquatic department has improved considerably as of late. Most tanks are up and running and I've bought some quality fish.

My Dad passed away and I inherited his 9 year old dog, Ripley. She's a sweet little medium sized poodle mix, one of those "doodle" dogs. I stopped by the Ardmore store to pick a couple of things to occupy Ripley as we were traveling from Central Oklahoma to North Texas. The staff were lovely, and I got in and out of there in a timely manner. Thanks!

Had to replace fish for my 3 year old and was exceptionally pleased. Told her that she had done so good 2ithbher original it was time to add to the family. Truth was a few of the original had expired and yeah. So, went in with a backpack and purse handed backpack to the associate and 3xplained I needed the replacements in backpack and the new additions, Mari would walk out with. I think I stumped her had to explain again and the ball was rolling.The two ladies were exceptional and attentive. I really appreciate it when someone enjoys their job.The

The staff helped me find items for a puppy that I was having extremely difficult time trying to stop her Diarrhea. I got emotional and the staff person (wish I could remember her name) helped me to to get the things that would help. As of today my puppy, Wendy, is doing great, playing again and I will be supporting Petco!! God bless your staff in Ardmore Oklahoma.

The store smelled bad and I couldn't figure out why. Then, I realized there was a crate of chirping live crickets right next to the place where I was getting my dog's tag. When I was taking photos, the manager acted rude about it. The rest of the store was clean. I would go anywhere else in town if I could to get a dog tag. I can't stand places that sell beautiful wild birds and animals that should be in the rain forest instead of in cages.

Petco in Ardmore treats their fish horribly and then act like it's not a big deal when the fish die. Here's what happened when I was in there yesterday with my 3 kids.Kids come to tell me all the glow fish were dead. I went to see and sure enough, all 13 were floating on their sides or upside down, and most had been dead long enough that they were decomposing in the water. It was a terrible thing to see. When the manager come over the lady who had been in charge of changing the water told the manager "these were dead too" which I took to mean there were more dead somewhere else. Then she said she must've used the wrong water but she said it like it was no biggie... I kept my mouth shut but my face has no filter and as I turned to walk off, with my kids, mind you, the employee raised her voice and said "excuse me ma'am, do you have something to say?" so I turned around and said "yes ma'am, that's 13 fish dead right there" and she said (so blasè like 'so, what's your point?') "yeah it was an accident" so I said "well thank God it wasn't dogs and cats, I guess" and the manager just sat there and said nothing. The manager was a bigger lady with short/Mohawk hair, I think it was dyed green maybe. The employee was blond with glasses. 8/24/22 Ardmore Oklahoma

The 2 stars is because the rest of the staff is super friendly but the grooming lady was disrespectful and hateful towards me and my dog. All because the system had her in as a small dog and she wasn’t. A simple mistake and she was just huffing and puffing. Didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with the appt.

If anyone is looking for a dog trainer, request anyone else other than Haley. Don't waste your money with her, if there is a different dog trainer definitely ask for them because Haley doesn't know what she is doing. Maybe she needs more training herself? I'm not sure but I won't be going back to her for my dog training..

Waited 20 minutes to buy food for our pet. Cashier was understandably helping 1 person in front of me. There were 2 customers behind me. When a second cashier finally showed up, she proceeded to check out the people behind me. Okay, wow. The first cashier ignored me until I asked if she was open. She was rude. I had to repeat my phone number 4 times. Then she decided to correct me on what product I was buying. Just because I used a shortened term for super worms does not mean I'm stupid. Ardmore Petco needs to do some customer service training. Seriously.

Went in to get food for my snake. The service was great, they were very helpful and polite. I recommend this place to everyone, but be warned the priced have gone way up. But I guess that's everywhere now, but the pay sure hasn't budged!

One of the ladies there was quite rude and spreading false information. The animals are kept in not only cruel but disgusting cages. Hamsters wheels are to small bending their spines, SNAKES are housed together, they stuff around 20 mice into a 10 gallon tank, the bettas are kept in disgusting and small containers were children abuse them. This is NOT okay, just because small animals dont have the same rights that cats and dogs do doesn't mean this should go unnoticed.

This was the first time I visited this location. It was easy to get to and close to some of my other favorite stores. The store itself was not dirty but it did seem like it could use a remodel in the future. The cashier that checked me out was super friendly, however the other cashier seemed kind of snippy. I called before I went to make sure the item I was looking for was in fact in stock. The person on the phone told me it was in stock but at a different price than what the internet had quoted. The item was sold out but I probably was not clear on the exact item I was after. However I was able to find what I needed other than that. 8/10 would visit due to convenience and well stocked.

The women who was helping me and my friend get fish was very rude to us. I would also like to say, that petco workers (maybe management?) isn't doing a good job on taking care of their animals. They have lizards and snakes that are cannibalistic and are sharing an inclosure together which isn't a good thing. I don't recomend this petco at all, I gave more to add about the animals safeties and enclosures but I'll keep it short.
