The store was so cool and clean!! Lots of great anime merch, Gundams, unique pop figures, etc. Staff was super nice as well! We were passing through but we'd make the 4 hour trip just to visit again.

UPDATE: They’re people of their word and they are still a dealer and everything is priced just like it was! They were where I originally found my Minato glow chase (rare) and I’ll definitely be there a lot more now.And the guy behind the counter is still super knowledgeable.

I randomly decided to stop by Anime City on a quick stop when traveling from Tulsa to Dallas - thanks to seeing some advertisements that started to pop up on Facebook. I was so surprised and impressed! The store alone was impressive but the customer service was amazing. I was provided with suggestions and recommendations by the clerk working that evening and - he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and attentive to not just myself but the others within the store. This I was happy about - I don’t go by anime/gaming etc stores often due to some bad experiences in the past - so I greatly appreciate him. The shop had a little bit of everything and I hope I’m back in the area (not something I say often) just to drop by Anime City.

Such a fun place to go. The owner is very nice and friendly. He’s great with my little kids as well. He offers used video games from about every game console there are and for decent prices. Offers some specialty candies and lots of anime stuff as well. He also deals in trades. I would highly recommend looking here first for any game before you go any where else.

Anime city is great for anime of course. If you’re picky about which anime you watch? You might find some stuff there for you. They have mainstream anime’s along with lesser known ones.They also have a good retro gaming section with some modern day game selection as well.Overall it’s pretty good.The only downside was the guy at the front. Dude was cool, but moved a little too slow at the register and I’m not sure if he’s on the spectrum or not socially, but he’s just socially different? If that makes sense. Which I won’t complain about.But when workers work at a place, even a minuscule amount of cursing is kinda off putting sometimes.Other than that, he’s super helpful and a cool guy.Don’t think I’d come back, but I’m not a hardcore anime fan. I prolly fall in the middle.But I’d suggest this place for hardcore anime fans.

Amazing, the people at the register are nice, prices are good, snacks are amazing, seen only half the store and will be excited to see the rest. Though are pictures aloud to be taken? Again, amazing prices, amazing products and everything! It will definitely be a place I visit throughout the year.

My wife and I traveled from tx to come here. It was everything I had hear and more. Great selection of statues and HUGE selection of POPS. Their retro games selection is the best I've seen anywhere else. And the clerk was so friendly

If you're ever thinking about buying selling or trading video games this is definitely the place. Game exchange will give you pennies for your games, I went into anime City and got $40 in store credit for four games. These guys are awesome and they definitely know their swords!

Clerk guy (owner?) is very helpful and friendly. The store was pretty busy at points while we were there and he was constantly helping someone. The store has a wide verity to choose from. Will definitely be coming back.More spacific to my visit, they have a nice selection of cards, pokemon, yugioh, and magic. I was more interested in there pokemon and they definitely didn't disappoint.

They have swords and I plan on getting the white one. It's a friendly place to visit. It's a place that is modern for sure which I like. I do hope they can clean up just a bit, but I don't know how busy they get, so I'll let that pass. It's all about anime and for every $25 you spend you get a free poster. Very nice staff

This place was really nice it looks small from the outside but as soon as u walk in its really big n neatly put together. They have video games cards of all sorts books and and lots of anime things. I'm pretty sure if ur looking anything anime related they probably have it. Would really recommend coming here again and I'm fort worth Tx. They guy working their today as in 1/20/2023 he said he works there the most and u can see he likes his store he was really helpful.

What’s the point of this place? The employee is rude, everything is cheaper online, you can play cards at the library and set up a trading post in a conference room without purchasing anything, it’s a waste of a very valuable asset, the stuff here is fake, it is cheap and there’s not enough space to hold tournaments, everything costs less online but more expensive in store for a cheap made product and people tell themselves it’s cute or I like just to avoid feeling regret just for stepping foot in the disgusting place and I do mean regret.

They have alot of choices thank God, I hate always having to go to okc to find alot of stuff, manga, figures, statues, little anime merchandise like key chains and throwing stars, I think, I forgot, but it's awesome so go check it out and blow a bunch of money like I did

Great store. Solid selection on anime, manga, and especially video games. They even had some things that I hadn't even heard of or I had been trying to find for the longest time. The owner was there and she pretty cool and the manager was helpful as well. He showed me where all the games where at that I was curious about, he even took my information to let me know when they would get the games and anime in that I wanted but they didn't have at the time. All in all great place highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would.. They helped us get my son's Christmas gifts. When tho we knew nothing of what we were looking for, gave them names and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. They were so patient with our questions and little knowledge. I always enjoy my visits here. They're friendly and have a good selection of items, and if you catch one of their sales, you can make out with a ton of good loot and some free posters to boot. I'd say they have fair pricing on things, because in the past the only way i'd be able to buy things was online, and while yes, you can find some things online cheaper than you might at the store, you still have to wait on shipping. I much prefer finding what I want here and taking home the day of, instead of spending almost the same amount online and having to wait two months because the cheapest stuff ships from china.

It's a good place to go especially if you are a collector of the video game and anime arts. Seriously a fun place to look around and add stuff to my wish list. They had a ps2 memory card that I got and my daughter got some sailor Moon stuff. They really have a lot of cool stuff in that little shop. Beats ordering on line. I was also very pleased that I got to talk video game shop with the dude that was working there.

Everything in the store is over priced and can be found online for a fraction of the cost of what they sell. It is ashame Anime City is the only local game store in Ardmore. It is by far the worst local game store i have ever been to. It seems that they struggle to stay open even with their pay to play policy just to sit down and enjoy the store. The walk way towards there restroom is literally a pile of garbage scattered among the floor organized just enough to make it to said restroom. The store is also at times very humid and uncomfortable. These are the small issues i find wrong with the store, my biggest issue about the store is the person who runs the store seems to feel free to give out negativity to anyone in the store. He seems to have bais motives and quite the attitude when i see him arguing with customers.

Been in there a couple of times now. Both times the store was clean and the guy who works there was always ready to answer a question or just let me look at something. New stuff the 2nd time I went as well. Great little shop. Will go back

One of the employees act fairly creepy to my sister when she comes into the store however not to me. Some employees will argue points that they are wrong on and will raise their tone for the smallest disagreements. I like the vibe that the shop gives off but some of the employees will but into conversations not of their own and still attempt to argue about it.Edit: bumped to two stars because its not always an issue just when certain employees are working.
