This Walmart basically has all the needs available for college students and the families of the town! The employees are nice for the most part, but can have attitudes with all the college students I’m sure they deal with. It’s always pretty packed but it’s always maintained pretty well I feel. I like this Walmart and went to it for many years during school and it employed a lot of students also! It’s also located on the outside of town so it doesn’t cluster the town really. I enjoyed this Walmart and the memories I made in my youth.

It's an okay store - nothing fancy. Decent selection. What more can you say?Edit - This place has *really* turned around in the year or so since my first review. The staff have taken up a customer-oriented mindset and are willing to go as far out of their way as necessary to meet the needs of their customers. For example, I was looking for a very specific frozen food item late at night, but one of the employees had just waxed the floors. However, the employee who had done the waxing, Shane, went so far as to walk across his newly waxed floor just to get the item for me! He no doubt had to go back and fix the floor, but I was so impressed by this act of service that I raised my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Bravo Alva Wal-Mart. Bravo.

This location's focus is to reduce inventory costs be any means possible. Many slots for high volume items are nearly always empty. In many areas where you once had several products to choose from, you now have 1 or 2. UPDATE: They continue these practices.

Employees were helpful when the self checkout messed up... They made every effort before taking us to the main register and uploaded our order so we could pay. The young man was cheerful and patient as we waited to use the employee register to check us out.

Pizzas were loaded and delicious. A large pizza came along with an order of large cheese sticks for just an additional $3.99 so my wallet was happy too, along with everyone that dug in once I got home.

This is probably the worst Walmart in the area. They have very few cashiers and it’s like they expect you to check yourself out. They are always out of stock. If you want any assistance please wait for 30 minutes or so while somebody that could care less to come and help you out. It’s is so much nicer to go to Enid or Pratt to go shopping at Walmart. It’s worth the drive

The smallest Walmart that I have ever been to, but they had a lot of clothes on clearance, even more than the Kearney Walmart which is three times as big. The bathrooms were small but clean. And thanks to Lynn the cashier we had a great lunch at The Vanilla Bean.

I guess I shouldn't fault Walmart for their inventory level but when the next Walmart is another hour away, it is very annoying to not be able to get what you went to get and with gas over $4 a gallon, you just have to make do. The store is clean I will have to give them that and they usually have at least 4 registers open. I can fault Walmart for that. I no longer work for you and I will be damned to use the self check out and take jobs away from people that you over work and under pay.

It was nice and clean. The prices were too high for meat. We wanted steaks for a cook out and it was $56.00 for 3 small t-bones! I understand though. Times are these days.

Sporting goods worker very helpful and accommodating. Good supply and selection- we cleaned them out of clay shooting goods, they said no problem we have more!

Never any cashiers and never anyone to help you. Honestly offer to pay your employees a decent wage so they want to work for you and people want to go work for you. Or if you aren't hiring hire more people please. There is no reason to have 2 cashiers and ask everyone else to go through self checkout.Self checkout should be an express lane. Not a means to replace humans.

Had issue with service dog access. Door greeter was rude and would not stop giving me and my dog the stink eye.I have a service dog because I need one not because it's fun. Legit service dog owners just want to shop and not be bugged especially deal with rude employees.

The atmosphere is nice. I can just brows without anyone looking at me like I'm crazy for not having a list. The prices are higher than what you would usually find in the city though. Apparently it's because of the lack of competition with other stores near here.

There was not one, Not One employee that asked how I was, said welcome or even hi, during check out she didn't smile once, and a manager standing between the registers and exit as another female manager walked upTo him, as I was leaving, and not one person including my cashier said bye, have a good day, come again, not even a thank you. Zero, zero, customer service, and you know how I know not one smiled at me.....I didn't see one employee with a mask on. Very very sad people.

Just picked up a few things, no real impression besides there weren't very many people wearing face mask which did not make me feel comfortable to be completely honest, but that's kind of OK in a nutshell, or at least from what I saw there weren't many people outside of work uniforms wearing masks.

I understand it's Christmas time and things are busy. My beef with Walmart as a handicap shopper the aisles are way too thin. I have to use one of their mobile carts I'm constantly trying to turn down an aisle and knocking things over. I get nasty stares from other patrons. At disabled person shouldn't feel like this shopping in Walmart.... Not only am I disabled but now I look shameful in a Walmart store and I shouldn't feel that way. Like I don't know how to operate a Mobile card yes I do. It's not my fault that things get knocked down it's your fault Walmart for not making it handy capable for handicap people.....

What do you expect? IT'S WALMART! A few things are good; a few things are bad; but most things are OK. Amazingly, when I went there today, I found my items quickly and efficiently. Shopping at Walmart today was a rather pleasant experience.

Fast friendly people the staff were very helpful the facilities were clean and organized the amount of traffic was crazy. They really had a full house. Thank you for your service and commitment to the community

Pay attention to what is happening around you! This Walmart is not encouraging mask wearing at the entrance as required by the corporate office. I am trying to keep my family and your families safe by wearing a face mask but it seems many in this community are blind to facts or simply don’t care about the wellbeing of their own families much less yours. I have called Walmart corporate office 3 times and was told the first two times that this business is supposed to require masks in order to provide service, however the third time I called they admitted to me that they are not requiring masks In their Oklahoma stores because our governor has not mandated state wide mask wearing mandate. According to the corporate office regardless of the governors lack of action Walmart is supposed to be keeping a person posted at the entrance who is offering Covid 19 safety tips, offering masks, and encouraging mask use in the store. What I have encountered lately is someone just sitting at the entrance offering absolutely nothing to customers. I understand there limits to what this store can do to keep the staff and customers safe but what I have witnessed so far is pathetic. I have actually seen staff that are wearing masks during work hours then take off their face mask after work to do their shopping! I have been doing as much of my grocery shopping as possible at the other local stores and only go into this Walmart for what I am unable to find elsewhere. The other local grocery store always has plenty of friendly cashiers and they are wearing masks to keep me and family safe as well as there own. This Walmart has been valued by this community so why are they not doing everything they can to keep their customers and staff safe?
