Best hometown grocery! If they don't carry it, they'll order it for you! Always fresh produce, and largest assortment of spices I've ever seen (even in larger chain stores). If you're gluten intolerant, or vegan, they've got you covered.

Went to the deli around 245 for some stuff out of the hot box. All the food was very stale and you could tell it had been there for awhile. The girl didn't offer fresh. I feel like there should be some sort of time limit on the food.

Good selection of gluten free items and fresh produce like fruits, veggies and salads. Kid sized carts make shopping fun. Lots of ready made items like lasagna and chili dogs for pickup to heat at home for quick meals. Also a good selection of no sugar/no corn syrup carbonated flavored beverages. Perfect for a flavored drink treat!

Good small town grocer. Good variety, clean facility.This is where the locals shop.This store stocks many of the national brands, as well as a large selection of generic 'house brand' items. A small deli that offers daily lunch specials rounds out this traditional 'small town' offering.

Great local market with fresh produce and killer deals published in their weekly sale ad in the newsgram. The staff are incredibly friendly and are more than willing to go out of their way to help their customers. The owner is a local who is diligent about donating bread and fresh produce to the local food bank. I love this place!

This is a small-town market which I hope sticks around for generations to come. Certain prices can be uncomfortably high, but it's worth it for the selection, and support of a local business. I think they need our help as a community, to keep them operating. They have a bakery and deli area (not even the local Walmart sells fresh donuts each morning, or custom designed cakes!) with plenty of selection, and daily lunch specials. Their meat department is very accommodating, and even the frozen foods section has a ton of choices you can't find anywhere else. I hope the community can continue to support Alva's Market. I thoroughly enjoy shopping there.

The Hamilton family has been working take Alva better as long as I have known them (mid 90s) They run their business to best fill the needs of the community. If you need something they don't have, visit Mary and she will order it for you. I have people claim they can't find products in big cities that Alva Market will carry as long as you continue to buy. They are awesome!

Service is always excellent but floors are in horrible disrepair. A real turn off. Maked you feel that the store is unclean. Product looks far more appealing when floors are of good repair and clean.

The Market could not be any better for Alva. It has a large enough selection to be surprising,,,better than any other grocery place in the Alva area. The fresh produce is stunning in choices and in quality. Parking is not only close to the store and free, but someone will HELP YOU OUT with your groceries, for free. ... There is a deli inside the store. With thebest biscuits & gravy, almost every morning. Fresh dough-nuts and other pastry are also available.I think they even offer a phone-in your list and get delivered groceries.

Foods overpriced bought some swish cheeze in the refrigerated area and it wasnt expired but when I got it home and opened it up it had mold all through it. Also they dobt reduce anything until its eother gone bad or is about to change colors . they have a good bakery and good lunchs but thats it.
