They were not friendly and because con machine down still wouldn’t give me deals. At other United Supermarkets they always accommodate the customer! Plus customer service issues must be addressed! Lauren was my cashier and another cashier would not do either might have been management. Will not be coming back here

Very good meat department, good prices and sales. Good selection for the size. Fresh produce. Specials in the deli, like ribs on Fridays and combo meals. Usually great for a quick stop, but can have longer lines to check out at times. Some regular prices a little higher, but still reasonable. I love the single serve desserts and pies and the half pies avail.

I don't know if I showed up on a bad day or what but very rude employees, but faith took the cake she was exceptionally rude. I guess if you're gonna do something, be the best at it. She was definitely doing her best. Geeezzzzz

I would give negative stars if I could. This place makes a dump look clean. I don't know who runs this joke but they need to be fired. Never has stock. The layout must have been done by a blind person.

Whatever happened to the extra clean look of United employees and the friendly culture. A lot of my family including myself were a part of the United family in the 80's and it is so sad the customer service and culture that is allowed there now. Terrible yet still better than Altus WalMart.

Usually shopping for groceries is a pleasant experience, but this time I ran in for hamburger meat only. Imagine my surprise when the counter was empty of ground hamburger meat other than the #5 rolls. They had some patties, but there were not any #1 or #2 packages of meat. I spoke with an associate and was told that they did not have any and were going to the rolls.NOT GOOD. I had to purchase the #5 roll to get the #2 that I needed for the recipe for dinner that evening. Yes, I could have gone somewhere else, but I was already there.We have limited choices on where to shop in our small town, but we still have a choice....

Really over priced for just about everything. Now and then they will have really good deals on meat and that makes it worth checking out. Their meat is generally much better than Walmart.

I have ordered 3 Meat Butcher Block deal over the last 6 months. Lonny, (butcher) is helpful, friendly and will go above and beyond to fill the order. I am so thankful the United store is in Altus.

I have been going to this store since I was a kid with my family. Both of my sisters even worked there! It’s a local staple. The prices can sometimes be more than Walmart, but it’s always good to be at the hometown store!

With all the recalls of beef going out on right now and United supermarket leaves raw beef in a basket for over 25 minutes that I was there. Not sure how long before I got there or after I left. All I can say is Wow

Oh my goodness I love this United much better than the one in Frederick! They're way much cheaper and reasonable on prices for food. The staff are so amazing and caring!

I love United Supermarket! All the employees are super helpful and go the extra mile to make sure that your shopping experience requires an encore! I don't mind driving out of my way for service like that. I'll do it everyday and twice on Sunday!!!!

I mean they give FREE produce!! That alone warrants praise to the United team members. Not to mention the staff as well as United shoppers all seem to stay in positive attitude and have a warm smile each time I'm shopping there. Big thanks to the family at United Grocery Store.

Update I have been to United on several other days and Tuesday the last visit the place had a power glitch all registers down. They were trying to do cash only. My card went thru the second time and out the door I went as other registers stayed down a bit longer.Hard to find items on senior days. I have been there just at opening or mid day and even late in the day. Just seems to be a limited of items on senior day being placed out. The day after that item is packed to the run of the meat display.Friendly staff though

A slight renovation has made the shopping experience here a bit more pleasant. Still, there is much more room for improvement. It's still a shame about the big difference between this United store and its Vernon relative. Something that the owners of this one should think about.

Decent supermarket with all the staples you’re looking for. The produce department lacks variety so don’t expect multiple varieties of lettuce and such. The staff here is welcoming, friendly, and with a helpful attitude. The store is kept clean and items are generally easy to find. Depending on the time of day, the checkout queue can get quite long (time wise).

The staff is always extremely friendly and always available for assistance. The produce section has fresh fruit and veggies at the most reasonable prices in town. The meat department has some nice looking selections, if you go on the right day they discount a lot of items.

A good place to get things that Wally World might not have. There's only 2 grocery stores in Altus so the pickin's are slim.Store is clean. Most employees are friendly.
