Delicious food, great service, everyone agrees we need to go back. I tried to be as vegan as possible and Gluten Free is a must. Their omelets satisfied my gf daughter and she ordered a side of corn tortilla instead of toast to keep it GF. The salsas were just right! Flavorful but not too spicy. For me, eating vegan in OK is pretty difficult unless I buy my own foods from grocery store or just eat Mexican. I ended up ordering the veggie omelet and it was amazing (not vegan). The vegetables were perfect, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper . In hindsight I wish I asked for an eggless omelet and just got cooked veggies, hashbrown and tortilla, but I was trying to quickly find a restaurant for my dad to ear and take his pills. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and he and my dad agreed the gravy was perfect and the stake amazing. Best part, the price!!!! Fed 4 people for under $40. That's unheard of for me and my GF kids, we easily spend ~$25 per person when we eat out. Nice gem.Vegetarian options: Veggie omelet was great. No vegan options unless you piece sides.

I was in there about a month ago. The food was great. What I didn't like about it was the heavy set waitress, she was loud and obnoxious. Yes you should enjoy your job and chat with customers, but that girl is really loud. I also over heard her talking badly about the owner to some customers at another table. The owner should really check into that. I wouldn't want someone working for me that talks about me behind my back....

The waitresses are fine people who took care of my mother when she went there. Very patient and caring. Food was great. Went for breakfast one day the next came back and waiter talked me into the catfish. Great choice. Perfectly breaded and delicious. Moving mom back to Indy with me. She said she will definitely miss this place.

We have been eating here since we moved to altus four and a half years ago period it is good food extremely reasonably priced. The management and the waitresses are all very friendly. It has the feel of a hometown diner Perry that's why we continue to go at least once a week . They have lunch menu specials they write on the chalkboard and any of the breakfast food you order is always extremely great

Went here passing through for breakfast. It would have been 5 stars but I am pretty sure they do not make their own biscuits. If they do, they may need to contact Rachel Ray for help. The gravy is good, the eggs were exactly how I wanted them. The two other people I was with had two different things and they loved it, minus the biscuits. Good small family diner.

I am not a local, and only come through town for work every few months. I would much rather eat here than any chain restaurant. My patty melt was amazing! My only "complaint" would be that my food's temperature was too hot and fresh! I guess it is done like that on purpose to slow you down while are eating such good food.

Heard this place was good so we stopped in. Almost everything was terrible. Biscuts were awful, hash browns were not cooked all the way through and the sausage was so gross I spit it out in a napkin. The waitress told me to order a smaller portion next time. Trust me it wasn't the size that was the problem. So disappointed in this place.

I am in a local rehab center here in Altus so I can't get out to get anything. Most of the time the food here is ok and sometimes pretty good but a lot of the times unmentionable. I found out the Sunrise delivers, I called and the lady was very nice and I ordered the special for lunch. The food was delivered right on time, it was still hot and it was very good. I will definitely be ordering again. I wish there was more restaurants that delivered besides pizza. Sunrise, you are GREAT!!!! THANK YOU!!

I love the home cooking 💗 and if your a big eater you'll love it !! The portions are large to much for me but, the waitresses are very friendly and attentive. You won't be disappointed 😁😁😁

Now don't come here expecting Cracker Barrel or IHOP, it's a mom and pop placed and it has a very nice homey feel to it. It's small but it's always worth the wait to actually have a home cooked meal, they open at 6AM, and stop serving breakfast @12:45.If they run out of something I hardly thing it's there fault, I was asked if I wanted something else instead and they were more than courteous! The food is excellent but if you're looking for something more "name brand" then this place isn't for you, however I will be eating there as much as I can before work and for lunch

Nice little rustic place with good lunch selections and decent prices. The daily specials are great home-style meals. Staff is always friendly and attentive, and portions are pretty good. This is one of my favored two places to go for lunch in Altus.

Definitely a great breakfast place, especially considering the area. Greasy spoon-ish and delicious. Their 'pile up' plate is enormous but packs flavor as well. Great staff, super compact seating area but a great little spot
