I checked in to the hotel and unfortunately had to check out the same day due to no hot water in the entire hotel so I couldn’t just move rooms. It was expected to be fixed the next day which was when I was checking out. In this difficult situation the front desk gal Jess was accommodating and extremely pleasant and professional. I work in a customer service field and I understand instances happen and sometimes they are out of our control but I wanted to throw in the positives that the hotel was clean, rooms were nice. It was solely the hot water issue that was the problem.

I have stayed at this location 2 times. This place is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The staff is what makes this place awesome and instead of staying in Lawton Oklahoma I drive to Altus to stay .Staff goes above and beyond making you feel like you are valued. This place is very clean and the bed was so comfortable.

Jess working the front desk went above and beyond to help my and my hunting buddies work through some booking issues. The hotel was also dealing with some hot water reliability issues (they were working the problem but a fix was just something that takes time) and Jess handled customer concerns wonderfully. We really appreciated her hospitality and professionalism- thanks Jess!!!

Made a reservation, paid for it, showed up a day late and they sold my room to someone else and said they were full. Nothing but problems at this hotel. Between no hot water and someone opening my door at 10pm and losing my reservation this hotel is run by amateurs. Will never book with this company again. I tried multiple times here because at least they are clean rooms

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ENJOY TAKING WARM/HOT SHOWERS. stayed here for 2 weeks while we worked in town, and they switched us to about 12 different rooms and none of them had hot water. Both weeks the last was saying they would report it and blah blah blah.. only reason we stayed again is because my supervisor is a jackass.. just save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else.

Was only there one evening however, did solid research of all hotels in the area with most having reviews stating they had bed bug issues. I decided on HIE because "most" reviews were positive and none stating anything about bugs! I will say, 140 per night was a little steep however, place was great! Young lady and gentleman at the front very friendly and welcoming. Rooms seemed updated to me, we thought they were very nice and NO BED BUGS!!! Slept like a baby, very comfy pillows, zero outside noise and bed was great. Breakfast area spotless and well kept, loved the pancake machine, sausage, fruit and even some biscuits and gravy. Would definitely stay there again and the only reason I left off 1 star was as I stated, was a little expensive.

From what I've experienced and heard from coworkers, this is the best hotel in Altus. While I'm sure this hotel meets the standards for this small market, there were signs that it was lacking a bit in its maintenance budget. The grout was coming up from between the bathroom floor tiles. The shower curtain rods were mounted too high for the length of the shower curtains. Some large areas on the outside of the building had paint that had peeled off (south side of the covered entrance for one).The staff was positively great. I got to know 5 or 6 of them during my 15-night stay. Friendly. Helpful. Good, hard-working people. Diego was a lot of fun. The guy on midnights made me feel like I had just dropped in at my parent's house. I really enjoyed them all.

I’m very disappointed in this place of business due to me leaving a charger box in the room and house keeping took it upon themselves and kept. You CAN NOT be a thief and work in places of business like this. Guess should feel comfortable enough to come there and stay at the location and if something is left, feel comfortable that housekeeping will turn it in to lost and found. On top the inside of toilet had Pooh up around it. Our door looked like someone had tried to break into it previously. Holiday Inn Altus location DO BETTER ABD GET RIDE OF PPL WITH STICKY FINGERS

No hot water. The phone in the room didn’t work to call the front desk. Very little breakfast available. Was told that the manager didn’t order any food for them to cook.Noteworthy details: We expect better out of a Holiday Inn Express. Sad that this one doesn’t measure up.

The room smelled a lil musty but when I tell you the lady that checked us in was the funniest, most friendly person I’ve ever encountered behind a hotel desk, I mean it! She had us laughing hysterically at a dang near midnight check in when we were exhausted. The mattress was super comfy, the air worked great and it had a bathtub which I enjoy.

Hampton Inn quality at a Holiday Inn price. So I didn't know what to really expect, because I've never stayed here before. The reviews were mixed so decided to take a gamble. About to check out in 1 hour, and I can truly say that I have really enjoyed my two nights stay here. The room was clean and smelled very good. The beds and pillows are so comfortable! Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The hotel has a full hot breakfast each morning and it's delicious ! The hotel is less than 2 minutes from the Altus Air Force Base and is about 8 minutes from most restaurants. Go ahead and book your stay here, you will be pleasantly surprised!

Room was big with plenty of room left for more furniture, even with the jacuzzi. WiFi signal is weaker the farther you move from the hallway towards the window. How big is this room? Front switch by door turns on all four lamps, which can then be controlled individually.Fitness Center didn't have any free weights! Big minus.Breakfast was complimentary but didn't have any egg option without cheese.Location is perfect for commercial/contract gate to base.

The rooms where okay couple outlets and lamps didn’t work but not terrible for a night. the service was terrible though!! The girl at the front desk was really rude overall and got really rude with my boyfriend when he asked if they offered military discount and she said they didn’t. He didn’t mind paying the the regular prices but when we stay at hotels almost all of them always except military discount. I’m pretty sure hotels like Holiday Inn offer military discount but I could be wrong or maybe she just didn’t want to do the extra work. There’s a military base in Altus so for a hotel like holiday inn not to except military discount is weird.

Location is fine, room is fine. I came for the pool. I saw another review that there's a hot tub, not no...no hot tub. Anyway, the pool is inside & chlorinated. And it's wheelchair accessible. The depth is 3'-5'. During my stay it was cloudy and very cold....I couldn't even go in. Very disappointed. The breakfast is open, but pls get some dairy-free milk, fruit, cottage cheese, oatmeal, granola cereal, something to make you standout!

Except for the three bottles of bath-care items mounted on the shower-stall wall, there were no amenities in the room - no bar soap, no pen-and-paper, no hand lotion, etc. I asked the clerk about this and was told that I had to request "full service" to receive these amenities. "Even though I just checked in," I asked. He corrected himself, noting the room had not been prepared properly but indicated that he didn't have bar soap at the front desk. He explained that I would have to find a maid's cart and get soap from her. This was after dinner on a Friday night; the maids had long since departed. The next morning I informed the desk clerk that the bathtub faucet was leaking - profusely - and requested "full service" (to include a bar of soap). I returned the following evening to find two bars of soap, but nothing else had changed. The bed wasn't made, the towels were not replaced, and instead of fixing the leak, someone had just come and super-torqued the bathtub spigots so they were difficult to turn back on. The people at the desk were very nice - all of the four folks I spoke to - but I do not understand why any customer has to request "full service" at a respectable hotel. If there is a less-than-full-service option for customers, then there should be an accompanying less-than-full-service price! I also cannot grasp why the hotel would not want to fix a steady-stream water leak, though I suspect that they are simply passing along their enormous water bills to their customers with inflated prices. I will have multiple occasions to visit Altus again in the future and though I am a long-time "gold" member of the Holiday Inn "Priority Club," I will find somewhere else - almost anywhere else - to stay while I am there.

Absolutely loved it.. beds are comfy, pillows are a cloud of comfort, bedding clean to perfection, the layout is nice, and have to say the night staff was amazing! Very kind, attentive, and informative, as well as patient. We will be staying from now on, on our travels at Holiday Inns. Extremely recommended. Worth every penny. Plus the breakfast is excellent.

I stay in IHG properties every week for work and this one consistently has issues. My main complaint is not getting my room cleaned, not once during my usual 4-6 day stays. I have reached out to IHG themselves multiple times and there are still issues.This is NOT the normal Holiday Inn experience you expect or will get elsewhere.I have had multiple stays with non working elevator, no housekeeping, breakfast delayed or slim pickings. I have had multiple rooms with issues as well. This last stay, the shower dripped all continuously.There is literally no where else to stay in Altus so they have no competition. Avoid if you can.

We had family in for graduation. Multiple rooms. The staff was great so friendly and helpful. One of our rooms has a cracked window with tape on it. The elevator went out one evening we were there and it took hours to repair. We had a Special needs person who couldn't climb the stairs, one who had knee surgery and another with back issues. In our party room the tempature was never comfortable. It was either too hot or too cold.

Hotel smells and looks clean overall. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast was well stocked and did not seem to run out when I went to get food twice(7:30 AM and 8:40 AM Saturday). The parking lot is well lit. The only negative thing I noticed was there were some hot pockets and frozen pizzas in my fridge in my room. 24 hour coffee in the lobby/eating area is a big plus. Definitely cleaner than most hotels I have stayed in during other trips.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and the staff. The rooms were very clean and nice. The lady at the breakfast bar was a delight and was on top of everything. She is a true gem! The cleaning staff were excellent as were the front desk clerks. I would recommend to anyone staying in Altus.

The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing with gluten free options. But, the air unit in the room did not have working controls on it and there was no instructions on how to adjust the air. We were hot and uncomfortable all night. Great water pressure in the shower.
