Very disappointing for the price. Started off with a 20 minute wait to check in. No one around. Carpets were dirty looking. Black mold in shower, door to shower came off in my hand, ripped curtains, wallpaper coming off in multiple places around the room. Bed is as hard as a board and pillows were flat. Fridge did not work. Had to put ice in the sink to keep stuff cold. Super slow draining sink. Pool and hot tub out of order. Didn't attempt to eat breakfast after everything else, was a little scared! So no comment on that.

Checked in on a Tuesday and had reserved the room till Friday. Ended up finishing up my work early so I checked out on Thursday morning. Was charged for 3 days but I didn't know it because the printer wasn't working at the front desk. The next day I called to get the receipt sent as they normally do and they were showing I checked out that morning. Now I can't get the Manager to call me back to get it resolved. Very frustrating.

Diamond Member Review - King Studio w/ SofaLimited hotel options in Altus. This particular Hilton Property is in dire need of renovation.The WiFi my one night of stay was very bad, during peak hours it was around 6-8 Mbps which as a business traveler is disappointing, limited ability to accomplish CRM work.The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.The staff were friendly and welcoming.The fitness center is small but has full set of dumbells, Peloton Bike, Treadmill, elliptical and seated bike.The room was spacious.Bathroom area that needs immediate attention.Most of the overhead lights making a buzzing sound when on.I did not try the breakfast. There is a brand new Starbucks relatively close.

I stayed over the weekend for a church service. The first thing I noticed was a foul odor on the 1st floor. It smelled like sewer gas. While sitting on the toilet a gecko scurried across the bathroom floor. I asked the front desk to give me another room they refused. She said "I will go get him out of the room for you." There was terrible mold in the shower. The bathroom tile was cracked. I went down to the fitness and swim area and both were closed. I refused to eat breakfast with the funky odor on the first floor. Needless to say I will not be going back to this hotel.

This hotel should be shut down... it has a weird smell on the 1st floor. The pool has been out for 4 years. We were told this by the clerk. The fitness room is out of order. The 1st room we had was a seen from Joe's apartment. I turned on the lights and bugs went everywhere. And for $173 a night I shouldn't see any bugs. The 2nd room was bug free but the room was dingy as hell. Mold in the shower. Bathroom sink won't drain. And the toilet seat looks like it came from the truck stop from hell. The toilet paper is a 100 grit sandpaper. Had to go get my own blanket so we could sleep on top of there's because the sheets and blankets were not white. Sorry but this is a $50 a night hotel. I won't be back and I will be filling a complaint with corporate. I choose this hotel for the pool which they don't have. I need my money back.Rooms: Horrible

Extremely poor maintenance. 2+ years of broken pool and side door. We stayed for 7 weeks with no A/C on the floor we were on and the fitness center was also down for a leak. North side stairwell regularly smelled like sewage. One of the two office computers was down the entire stay and the cricket and cockroach infestation affecting Altus was not mitigated. No notable effort to fix the building seemed to be being made throughout our entire stay.This hotel's leadership has a specific policy to deny Hilton Honors members any benefits to military members (other than points). Pretty bold for a military town.Reception staff and the asst manager were very kind and helpful for everything in their power. They always greeted us by name and even brought treats for our dog on a regular basis. Breakfast staff was also very kind.

Not impressed that they are still advertising a pool and hot tub that has been broken for two years. The breakfast was good and standard for a continental breakfast, , stayed there 6 days and there was variety was always warm/hot but we got there around 730-800 each time. They are understaffed as it was hard to get ahold of staff at times, and housekeeping wasn't every day unless you asked.

At check-in, no desk clerk for long time, had to call twice...had a line waiting when she finally arrived. Not at desk or answering when needed after getting to room. Hallway on 3rd floor smelled sour, almost used bathroomy. The room smelled almost as if the toilet hadn't been flushed after a loaded use. Had to go to truck and get room spray to neutralize so we could sleep. Refrigerator in room was not working properly and not even cool. Don't know if the smell was from poor cleaning habits or problem with septic drains/system. Was able to note issues at checkout to new clerk who was also in a good mood. Unfortunately, continental breakfast was cold and bland, only made it through half before giving up. Expected more from Hilton at the cost. It was like staying at a low end establishment, though the exterior/interior looked well maintained. Will really think twice before staying here again.Rooms: Smelly... unknown reason for it but hallway was almost as bad. Had to spray hall and room with room deodorizer concentrate to get it tolerable. After noting to check out clerk, it went as "sorry, have a nice day, come back again" instead of making any type of concession.

I booked a room through the hotel. Specifically ask if the hot tub and pool were available to use. We were in Altus working on a property we bought. We were wanting to relax after the long hot days working in the heat. When we checked in, the pool or hot tub has not been in working order for several weeks/months. Rooms were cold. Beds were ok. Showers were starting to grow mold. Breakfast was terrible. For the price we payed $140 was way over priced for this hotel. When I look at a hotel. Hamptom is a nicer hotel. But not in Altus. Needs work…..Rooms: Rooms were ok. Nice ac, pretty comfy beds, showers need attention. Starting to grow mold.

AWFUL! DIRTY!STAY ELSEWHERE!!This hotel should be shut down. The pool & fitness center will be shut down indefinitely so don’t plan your stay around those amenities. The “laundry facility” is 1 washer & 1 dryer for the entire hotel and only accepts quarters.Multiple people in our group left due to bed bugs and because their room was extremely dirty.

I was apprehensive about this place after reading some of the reviews, but it wasn't bad. Next time I have a trip to Altus I'll come here again. I had a room on the 2nd floor and water pressure was great in the shower. Everything seemed clean and functional.Breakfast was hot and clean, but the ingredients had no imagination or variety. Yes the sheer curtains in my room were ripped like some other reviews have mentioned, but not the opaque ones. So that didn't change my experience. I could still keep people from looking in from the parking lot. It would have been nice if the window wasn't fogged up so I could see the beautiful sunset but hey, we don't come to Altus for the view 🤣

I have had to stay overnight in some pretty sketchy towns on the road, but I can always count on a Hampton to be clean and well-functioning! HOWEVER, for the first time I have stayed in a Hampton that was not acceptable for the $160 per night I paid. Upon arrival at check-in the room was not ready. While we waited for an hour in the lobby, the coffee was cold, pool was empty, juice machine was out of order, and the ice machine was out of order. One staff member was fairly friendly while the other was just not at all.Once our room was finally ready, it was a relief to find that it was clean and serviced. There was a really odd bubbling sound coming from the wall behind the toilet the entire time we stayed, but you could only hear it in the bathroom. Breakfast both mornings was good, but no juice since the machine was out of order. Overall the stay was not terrible, but not worth the price tag considering certain amenities were unavailable, such as the pool.

Felt like a cheap dirty hotel. Broken, rusty and dirty shower door and shower, torn sheer curtains on both windows, horrible breakfast, pool out of service and has been for a year according to staff. This definitely does not meet Hampton standards and I would not advise staying in. Go to the Holiday Inn Express to get the quality of stay you expect.

Update 2: Saturday morning breakfast- bagels were all stale. Various other items were left empty when they ran out. Breakfast area was a mess. Tables in the lobby were not wiped. Someone did come to snake out our drain and it helped.Update: we ended up forced back to the Hampton in Altus. Stayed on the top floor and it's quieter and cleaner, and breakfast was better (on the weekdays). BUT it's still in disrepair. The pool has been out for like 6 years now and they really need to just take it off of their amenity list. The water pressure is abysmal and the shower isn't draining. They said they would snake it today. So we will see...Overall it's still overpriced for what we get.Previous review:This was our regular spot to stay when we come in to town to visit family. It isn't anymore. It was dirty and noisy and we won't be back.When we arrived I found dirty bedding on the sofa bed. I had to call for more and they neglected to bring a clean matress protector. I know Housekeeping doesn't scrub walls after every guest but clearly they don't even look at them for spills or spot cleaning. The walls around the sink area were not clean, as was the wall near the tiny trash can. The shower had mildew and soap scum around the bottom and there were dead insects, and maybe a small frog, in the bathroom light cover. The hallways even smelled bad.We stayed in room 200 and the guest above us apparently got ready for work around 5am and we heard their booming footfalls loud and clear. There were significant gaps around the doors and so we were able to very clearly hear the very adult activities happening in another ro when walking the hall from the elevator to our room (and it wasn't as if they were being obnoxiously loud). Our morning alaem consisted of the sounf of slamming doors as Housekeeping cleaned surrounding rooms without any consideration of the volume of the slammed doors.When we arrived there was no one at the desk to check in with and we had to use the wall phone to get someone to come out to us. When we went for breakfast there was no waffle mix or Oatmeal and no one around to ask about it. There is almost never anyone at the front desk. They go in the room behind and put the sign up to use the phone to call them. When they hear the desk phone they come out.Oh and the pool is still "out of order" as it has been since the beginning of the covid shut downs.

Not very impressive for the type of motel I expected definitely was not impressed with the smell in the hallway. I had to go get a shower hose because the shower head was plugged up with rust and settement. The strip at the bottom of the door came off had to call the front desk to send someone to fix. The room service was very good and did a great job on cleaning the room. Make sure you take a fan with you because the ac unit doesn't blow very well just a recommendation.

Desk staff was great. The room we had the wall paper was peeling off the bathroom wall . The shower had mildew all around the base. The pool and spa was closed which was not mentioned on the web site. Breakfast was ok but no eggs unless you like omelets. I have stayed in Hampton Inns all over the US. By far this was the worst. Our stay was 10/7/22

DONT WASTE YOU'RE MONEY AT THIS HOTELThe room and hallways had a bad smell, There was mold all over the shower, the toilet had marks on the inside of it, and there was never anyone at the front desk for long periods at a time. The pool and hot tub have been out of service for so long that it's time to take them off as a perk on the website. The owners are not fixing anything, just using as a cash cow until it falls apart. The staff are impeccable! They will do anything to help. Tammy is especially awesome. There is no air conditioning in the elevator or the 2nd floor hallway. Only one ice machine works, and there is no vending machines although there are signs. Be prepared for bugs.
