The owner is a moron, my credit card transaction is pending on his end to be completed, but threw us out for non payment. When the transaction is pending on his end in his computer, stayed one night, had paid for two. And now he has all my money and is still continuing to try and charge my card several times with different amounts each time. He has stolen my money and is fraudulently charging my card for service which where not provided.. He is a thief.Rooms: Carpets are filthy, looked like someone had just dropped blood on the carpet in roomthe place is run downed probably in violation of a hand full of health codes. Smells awful. Place.should just be closed down.

I needed an overnight for work, and chose this for price. No price would be a good value for this stay; all white towels and floor mat were stained, stains were present on the carpet throughout, no soap was in the room, the room had not been vacuumed, wifi did not connect, and the door to the room was damage from previous use. This room times for the worst hotel room that I have had, and the other stay was 20 years ago.Rooms: Very little cleaning, with the threat of bed bags in the back of my mind. All of my belongings were placed on table, counters, etc. to reduce possibilità of exposure to bags on soft surfaces; all clothing and bag were washed on arrival at home as a precaution. No bugs were found but the threat was credible.

Stayed here once and I never will again! The staff was friendly enough but the lobby is the only nice spot in this motel. The hallways and staircase looked rundown and creepy. There was also very poor lighting. My room was disgusting! Names carved into the headboard 👀 overflowing ashtray,bed didn't look that clean and it was just a bad experience overall!! Sad because if I owned a motel I would keep it in tiptop shape, it's not that hard! Obviously the staff are just lazy and the owners don't care and just want to collect money! Do NOT stay here!!

Chose this place as our go to, we did not make a reservation first. I walked in the lobby it was very stuffy, it was clean but the vibe just felt weird. No one at the desk there was a number to call for service. Noticed a sign that said " no refunds after 10 minutes" that was a red flag to me. Unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable proceeding on with check in. So we went to another place and I paid more. I can't say much past the lobby or service. But it didn't feel friendly or comforting walking in. First impression wasn't there. Although the price was nice.

Staff was pleasant at check in and check out, but the hotel/motel/inn was not pleasant at all. Rooms and hallways smelt of cigarettes, felt like no heat was being ran in the hallways (20 degrees outside), pool and hot tub were closed (for cleaning since November) despite the website showing it was open, breakfast was advertised but staff stated they have never served anything other than coffee, and on the last day of stay (minutes before checking out) we found a roach on our wall. Instead of allowing us to check out and get a refund (after being there for 20 mins; you have 10 minutes to decide to stay or not after check in) the owner offered to move us to another room that was half the size of our current room and still smelled of cigarettes.We will not stay here again and I highly encourage others to find another place to stay.Update: the manager responded to my review that they’re working to fix these issues, but when we spoke to the manager and owner they were not actually willing to help with our issues. It was a nice try trying to look good for the internet 👍🏼

The good, the bad, the ugly.The good: Bed was comfortable, AC was cold, shower good, and TV worked. Keep reading.The bad: The room was filthy. I've never seen carpeting that filthy. I wouldn't have it in my garage. The upholstery of the loveseat, and the desk chair, had black streaks, like grease marks. Didn't sit down for sure . Holes in the wall had been plastered, but not painted. Two towels in the bathroom, ratty and stained. No coffee in the room, no kleenex.The ugly: This was, at one time, an elegant hotel. It is now, a dump. How this hotel keeps it's affiliation with choice is a mystery. The hallways smell of mold and cigarettes. The lighting is weak, and the carpeting filthy. If you dare, look at the center atrium, where the pool is. This is an environmental disaster! Filthy. Large pool in center, surrounded by a large area, all the way around. This area originally, for walking, or sitting. There are about 34 rooms, with balconies, that overlook this area, which I'm sure are not rented now. The pool is green, the whole area is deserted, filthy carpeting, old plastic chairs here and there. Roof leaks, and there are wet spots, stains, and stagnant pools of water. Add the smell of mold, and its perfect. Finally.. .. the exterior of the hotel looks very nice, and the lobby is, at best ok. It is suspicious, when it's 103 outside and it's not air conditioned, but never less, big fans were running. The desk clerk told me at check in, he was new. But, when I went to check out the next morning, a sign was on the counter, to phone for service. I called, and it was obvious, I had woke this person up. As they kinda stumbled out of a room behind the counter, it was the same person who checked me in the night before. In a pair of shorts and t-shirt, he had obviously been sleeping in.Conclusion: Choice hotels needs to deal with this. DON'T STAY HERE!

The staff or should I say the 2 women running this motel are very nice and understanding. The rooms on the other hand are very outdated the windows are so old you can't see out of half of them the pant job was so bad it had 3 different colors to it. The bathroom looked as it wasn't cleaned from the last person who stayed there and their was hair in the bathtub. Did not get any wifi and the pool which was inside was closed. Only giving it to stars cause of the staff.

If you want a big room for a good price, then this is a good place to stop. They also have an indoor pool. The bed was comfortable. This hotel is not top of the line but it was fine for a few days. My main complaint is that they had removed all of the light bulbs except for two, and my room had no outside walls. So it was dark in the room all the time. I am sure they would have fixed it if I asked. I didn't mess with it since I spent so little time in the room. Just making you aware that is something you might have to ask them. The staff was nice, and they cleaned the room every day. Good deal for the low price. If you have friends at the base, it is right down the street. You can watch the planes all day.

When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one else staying there at the time which seemed kind of odd. (At one time, that hotel used to be a Ramada Inn.) We got checked in and went to the room. I sat down on the edge of the bed and a rodent ran right be me. That was it for me. I called the front desk and told them I refuse to stay and wanted my money back. To their credit, they did refund my money. That hotel needs some serious renovation and rodent eradication before anyone should ever stay there. Giving one star for this hotel is a gift.

We arrived and there was a moldy smell to the room. The air conditioner filter were caked with fuzz and dirt. The room was filthy. The shower mat was moldy. The microwave and fridge were dirty as well. The floor was not vacuumed. The drawers had crumbs in then. The chair had a dity spoon in it. We rinsed out the a.c. filter. We called the front desk and asked them to clean it. We left to eat. She only cleaned what we pointed out. The smell remained and the floor was still dirty. The bath mat was left moldy as well. Needless to say we did not stay. We were there for my husband's birthday.

Unbelievable deal. Priceline for 36. King bed, sitting area, excellent internet access, great shower, clean. The manager gave us individual attention. We stayed a week for business and asked that we had no housekeeping because of multiple computers and sensitive information. They obliged. This is a $120 room. Altus currently has a small visitor population so rates are competitive. We need to go back in a month and are staying there again.

Overall I would say the hotel is very nice mainly due to the friendly staff. The rooms are a bit outdated with older TV models. Overall the hotel is spacious, and will fit most needs. They have an amazing pool however it was not heated which was the only downside. There was also a jacuzzi however it was not open when we were there so I cannot comment on this

Not nearly as bad as reviews are making out. We almost didn't stop after reading all the reviews. Our room was clean, pool was cold though that was the only negative. Would have been easier on us too if they served breakfast. But price was better than any of the others. Would stay here again if in the area. I rate them a B.

When you first walk in you can smell a very moldy smell. The outside of the facility was very dirty. There was trash everywhere outside, bags of trash just thrown everywhere. Run down vehicles on the parking lot that have been there for a while. The hallways carpet was very very dirty and stained, where you can tell that they haven't been cleaned in months. The rooms were awful, the sheets were still dirty and stained. We found hair all over the bed and sheets. Everything was just awful. Needless to say, my family and I didn't not stay here. Couldn't get a refund, because when I went back to the lobby it was past ten mintues. When it took us that long to get to our rooms. We ended up staying else where. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

We had no choice but to stay here last minute and after seeing our room, we tried to find somewhere else to stay. Our "non smoking" room had an ashtray next to the cigarette smoke drenched comforter and a cigarette burn mark on the dirty toilet. Multiple stains on the bedding, walls and floor. 2 dead crickets on the floor. Dust everywhere. TV only had 3 working channels. Filthy stained toilet paper was left for us. Non working refrigerator. Dirty, murky pool. This is 3rd world country conditions and I'm not exaggerating. Here are some pictures. Stay away!

Best bang for your buck here for decent room in a convenient location. However, don't expect anything more than that. Still had an outdated box TV with limited channels and some of the lights in the room not working. The cleaning ladies also persistently knock an hour before check out, which in turn aggravated myself and my family. Otherwise, it was not a bad stay.

Only good thing we can say is that our visit was quiet. There were missing light bulbs. No fresh linen of any kind. The in-door pool and hot tub were both ice cold. There was no hot water it was only lukewarm. No wi fi like they claim to have. T.v. was so old the picture was washed out. Saw a roach crawling across the bathroom floors. Ice machines on both floors out of order.

We found a rat, and rat droppings in our room. As it was too late to go elsewhere we requested another room. The replacement room was 90 degrees inside and smelled strongly of smoke. Also the hallways look like something from the shining. Both ice machines were broken. The night manager or guy at the desk at night was emotionless and could care less if a rat was in our room or not. I took pictures. This place is the worst hotel ever. Do not stay here! Also had family stay here at same time. They were overcharged for their room and got a smaller room then whst we got. I guess we got a discounted room because they knew it had a rat. Will be complaining in the morning!

Upon arrival it took several minutes for someone to greet us. The main that waited on us was rude and did not speak in full sentences and only seemed to know the word "no". The room wasn't very clean. There was hair in the beds and on the toilet. The air conditioner did not work either. The swimming pool, although indoor, could not be swam in due to the temperature of the room as well as the water.

WORST WORST stay ever. I wish I would have done a review search before hand. Bed was made with stains and dirt on the sheets. I had to ask for clean linens, ashes in the back of the nightstand on the corner of the bed, while there was a utility knife found by the bed, under the bed sheets. Floor wasn't vacuumed, no phone in the room to call lobby. I really don't think that room has been cleaned since the 90s. There isn't really anything good to say about this hotel.

Not that bad for the convenient prices and pet friendly. Maybe a few security concerns with the entrances but not as bad as the others in the available price range. Enjoyed the room, comfortable nicely kept while under renovation. Iron out a few kinks could be a nice place.

I give a star because of the price. When we called the reserve a room we were told everything worked; hot tub and pool. After arriving, the hot tub was dirty and didnt work we were informed after calling the front desk man FROM the front desk. No clue where he was. Oh and if youre taller than 5'3" good luck getting under the shower head. If yoy need a cheap place to crash its decent. But if youre looking for something nicer..... look elsewhere.

Do not i repeat Do Not stay at this place! I paid $69.00 dollars for a filthy,disgusting room. There was hair all in the tub. Spider webs everywhere! Stains on the floor,walls,curtains,and the bed sheets as well!!! Dust and dirt on everything! It was the worst thing ive ever seen!!! My daughter and i left this awful place immediately!!! These people should be ashamed of themselves for renting rooms like this to people!!!! I will be reporting them!!!!! I had to rate atleast 1 star or it wouldnt let me post my review of this sickening place but i actually would rate it a negitive 50 stars!!!!!

I was surprised to find any place in town for only 210 a week. Its literally 2 miles from base and owned and operated by a friendly family. Fast food spots are within reach with Burger King and a convenience store across the street and the local bars right down Broadway. I saw a review about Wi-Fi being an issue but they are slowly upgrading their availability. If you're coming out of pocket and needing a place to stay while you house hunt or PCS I would check this place out. It's slowly being renovated but has some nice touches already and for the price cant be beat.
