We got a new server, only been working a week or 2, the place was dead, maybe 10 people total.There was a complication (misunderstanding) with my order, so my other half ate alone, while I waited for my food to be remade.By the time I got my food, the mashed potatoes were cold. She was done eating and then had to wait for me to finish eating.By the time it was said and done, I figured they would comp the bill. To offer me to come back to do a better review.The manager commented that she would be ok with a bad review, than to offer us to come back.All and all, not a very good experience.Parking: Always parking unless they are busy...Kid-friendliness: My kids love Applebee's

Mandy M. was my waitress and she was FANTASTIC! Super sweet personality and made sure I had everything I needed.My food was good. I had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer, and the tomato bisque (which Mandy made sure was just the right temp before bringing out) with a Caesar salad for my main course.

I give the guys a big fat 0. My wings was cold I sent them back. When they was brought back out it took them about 2.5 seconds to return the "new ones" to me. I ordered a well done steak after sending that back twice it still wasn't right. I spoke with the manager and she informed me that she tempted it her self so therefore it was right. I would never recommend eating at this place..

The food is usually pretty good. Can't say the same for the service. When we eventually get waited on, the staff has been friendly. Just no sense of urgency or efficiency. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill when my cup is obviously empty and you haven't been by in at least 10 minutes. That wouldn't be so bad if the place was busy. There's usually 1 or 2 other tables in the whole restaurant. Do better!!

This is the 2nd time in a year that we have come into this restaurant. About a year ago we came in and both ordered pasta, both of us had noodles stuck together. The sauce was cold and broccoli was frozen. Tonight we came in hoping for a better experience. We were waited on, sat down, given drinks then after 45 min, when another patron, asked the waitress where our food was, she let us know the kitchen lost our ticket. We then decided to leave. Do better because we need more places like this in Altus.

My husband and I came in tonight and ate and I will say it was very disgusting and not even fresh and it's obvious the food was microwaved.... Our waitress who seemed overworked was great but the cooks need to go... Paid $52. something for slop that we only took a few bites from each item. The menu is very deceiving cause on the menu it looks great but when it gets to your table it looks disgusting... Will be calling corporate on our experience tonight...

It was really nice. We had a small break down of our vehicle in town and while waiting for help, decided we were hungry even though very late at night but they were still open. Great server, great two for twenty five food choice, a beer or two and we were ready to put the car stuff behind us and relax.....author of Amazon's, "Last Of The Knowers."

I very rarely leave negative reviews but on this occasion I could not pass. I am a teacher and live in Edmond, I had a special Saturday evening planned at Quartz Mountain Resort for my wife and I's 21 year anniversary. We drove in a day earlier to visit with her family and take them to dinner. My wife received a few gift cards for Applebees for the Holiday and her favorite place is Applebees. Most places near us in OKC have closed we told our family we were taking them out to dinner when we got there.So, GC was totaled for 125.00. We enjoyed the dinner, atmosphere was fine, server was ok and then we received our bill. My wife gave her the gift certificates and said we would pay for the rest (total was 140) She returns and tells my wife that they are not taking gift certificates due to computer issues and that we were suppose to be told at the door, which we were not. I simply asked if I could speak to a manager and her reply was, "He is just going to tell you the same things and to be honest we are having difficulties taking credit cards as well." So, for a couple on a budget I had to pay 140 and even included a 20 dollar tip. Sorry however, this was rather shocking to me, we were excited to be able to treat some of our family to dinner and use cards and at the end they simply just say, "We are not taking those right now?!" Just thought it was poorly handled and could have at least taken something off our bill." Wont be back..

My friend and I decided to go to Applebee's for Veterans Day. We both received a free meal for our service and the food was excellent. I had the sirloin and he had fried shrimp. He also ordered a margarita which he didn't drink because he said it was probably the worst margarita he had ever drank. Applebee's also gave us $5 each for a return visit. Thank you Applebee's for supporting Veterans, you make it worth serving our USA.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was handicap accessible

Our waitress was good and the atmosphere was fine. It's Applebee's, so it's the same everywhere, which is one of their selling points. The food was a mixed bag. My burger was really good. My wife's Bourbon Street steak however, was undercooked and didn't have any Cajun flavor. Fortunately the skillet it came on was so hot that she could slice the steak and cook it further to her liking. Although she did burn her lip on the mashed potatoes.

I would have given 5 stars, but two or three of my experiences were, for lack of better words, so-so. The food, now, is always amazing. But I've had a couple of people that have waited on me (at the bar or at a table) that seemed like they just had better things to do than to wait on me. I will still go back, I've had good waitstaff too and the food is still great.

I went there two times in a week. First time I asked them to bring me No ice in my drink but they brought me the drink and the refill with ice. Second time I ordered full rack but then they brought me a half rack of ribs. The staff are friendly but they don't have enough experience.

Oh my goodness. So inconsistent. We go to the Altus Applebee's 2 or 3 times a month. I always order a Michellada. (basically a red beer or a bloody Mary with beer instead of vodka). About 2 months ago I get told they can't make a Michellada & they never have. I told our waitress I order one a few times a month & it's never been an issue. Then the manager comes over & says they've never made them here. I told her I got them here frequently. She said they can't make them. I asked if they had either zing zang or bloody Mary mix. She said they had a bloody Mary mix. So I asked for a mug, a corona, a few limes & a small cup of bloody Mary mix. She was not happy but brought it & I made a Michellada. I was charged $17!Next time at Applebee's, I ordered a Michellada, no issues. Actually drank 2 that evening. I believe I was charged around $6 for each. Next visit, was told again they can't make Michelladas. So again I ordered a corona, a few limes, frosty mug & a small cup of bloody Mary mix. Was charged $9.75Next 2 visits ordered a Michellada with corona both times, no issue. Tonight, again, I get told they can't make Michelladas here. So frustrating 😤

I went during lunch, and it looked like I was one of maybe 5 tables in the place. It took about an hour and 15 minutes to get my food. But I've heard that long waits are normal here. I ordered something that is hard to get wrong, just some pasta and fried chicken. The pasta they gave me was stale, but other than that, everything was fine. The place is OK, but I won't be going back for the pasta or timely service.

When I went there today my server was Zowe. It was honestly the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. She always checks and make sure i had what i need, makes sure my food is made the right way and lets you know exactly what will be with the order. She’s very friendly and generous, definitely will be going back and making sure she’s my server.

Altus ... Got in quick placed my order. They were not busy. 4pm. Then, I waited 30+ minutes steak med rare with shrimp. It came out with butter piled high "frozen " steak was ice cold broccoli same mashed potatoes tasted like chemicals. It did take a few min to get waitresses' attention. I sent it back. Paid for drink. And went to Frank's steak house.

We were traveling through town with a picky eater on a Sunday. There aren't a lot of options in Altus and even less on a Sunday. Applebees has all the basic staples of American food like chicken tenders and burgers so almost anyone raised on cheap food could find something there. With that said Applebee's is not cheap for what you get...There is something missing that just makes Applebee's not worth it. I am not even sure if it was this location's fault. We were a 3 different family group and got seated right away. The restaurant didn't seem busy but had a few couples sitting in the booths. I would say it was at 20% capacity. The staff was friendly but didn't jive with our group. It took a while to get drinks to our table. Getting their attention after the initial order collection was difficult for example we didn't have silverware for my seat.Usually when there is a large group and everyone ordered different items there is a moment when the food comes to the table that you have an envious feeling. The moment when you might feel you ordered the wrong thing because the person next to you got something with an amazing presentation and you can imagine asking them if you can try a bite...that feeling was not there at all.The item I ordered looked just as boring as everyone else's. The food tasted okay but the consensus was nothing worth coming back for. For example even something as basic as a tender salad was just served with lettuce, cut up chicken strips and barely any tomato. Even Walmart's premade salads have sliced boiled egg and some diced carrots just something that added to the presentation at a cost of 8.00. I think the boring salad was over 15 at this location.The Applebee's offering is lame and I think it just makes the staff not excited about their job and just makes the mood at this location to be ho-hum.I won't come back especially not for the price and food quality. If you own stock in this company sell it because there is no future with this franchise.
