The Altus Commissary is usually very well stocked with products. Their meat department is great when it comes to offering family packs. Cashiers are always friendly as are the cart pushers. Overall prices are good, much better than Walmart.

The commissary here is like our secret weapon against mealtime boredom. ✈️🍔I came for 'Stealthy Steaks' and left with 'Tanker Tacos' that could refuel a squadron. 🥩🛫 The selection is so vast that it's like a menu designed by aerospace engineers. 🚀🔧Just remember, finding the cashier might be as challenging as coordinating an aerial refueling mission, but if you can handle that, you can definitely conquer the checkout line! 💼💰So, whether you're a jet jockey or a civilian craving a taste of the Air Force life, this commissary will have you flying high on flavors. Don't be surprised if you leave with a newfound love for 'Wingman Waffles' and 'Afterburner Almonds.' 🥞✈️😂

Love the sales, the friendliness of the associates. So helpful and informal, really neat and clean store everything is easy to find and access. I do wish they had more of a variety of stuff HOWEVER being in the location its in... it's a wonderful store!

The meat department has gotten much better and the meat is very good and so are the prices. There is a large selection of foreign foods. The fresh fruits and vegetables look great, but the selection is limited. The prices are much better than Walmart or United. The store is very clean.The cashiers can be impatient and rude; as well as, the management can be rude to the cashiers and stockers in front of everyone in the store. Not all the managers, there is one who is nice to everybody and very helpful.

Not bad prices and I love that I can find gluten free stuff but the produce is not to my standards. It's just a 4 out of 5 for the produce. Need more variety. Need to throw out some of it and replace it. I worked in produce in other grocery stores and we threw out if it had any blemishes. It actually sells better that way because then you sell more and faster. They said if I bring in barcodes of items that I need that they dont sell they could try to get them psk that's a plus but some items are more expensive then aldis. But for the most part it's not bad and the staff is so friendly. They do a great job and the sushi is fresh and it's a 4 out of 5. I think they try really hard but it's not their fault what gets sold there. So hopefully they can get in what I need . But all in all it's nice to have around and so i give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the military equivalent to a Walmart grocery store. The great team here are ready with a smile and a helpful hand when you need it.Unlike Walmart, the commissary caries those specialty items you only find overseas. Love the German food stuff we get there!

Small but fairly well stocked for it's size. The best fresh fruit and vegetables in town. Meat section is very good. Great stock people, very helpful and knowledgeable. Cashiers are great as are the "carry out" people. Facilities are clean and newly refurbished.

It’s ok store no tax included but they don’t have many options to get such as whole chocolate milk gallons and Mac and cheeses etc. and barely has any meat to choose from too such as if I want lamb won’t be able to get it here or any certain type of meat they don’t have either don’t really like the fact they barely have any choices to choose from most of the time also few times I bought some stuff and they were out of date like wow! They should stick and restock food and make sure everything is up to date and fresh instead of leaving out of date crackers or milk that is already out of date or will be out of date in few days I bout crackers got home and found they were two months out of date and those were gonna be for my baby to snack on as well as I bought milk that was two days of being out of date and my baby needs milk so they should consider making sure what is on the shelves is up to date other than that everyone is nice and it isn’t crowded

This is a very small commissary but they do a great job. They have a great staff, a better choice of products than you expect, and their customer service is really good. If you are active duty, military, reserve, or guard personnel give this place a shot. It's really a good commissary.

Kinda small, yet decent Commissary. Wish they the sell by date wasn't within a month away on some goods. Usually still have to go to Wal-Mart anyways to get some stuff we need. Wish they opened at 0800 on weekdays instead of 1000. Staff is great and very kind, except for a couple. They could be a little more respectful and kins.

Better dairy, meat and poultry prices compared to in-town. They also have better cut choices. Ice cream and deli are comparable to United Supermarkets [the Texas kind, not the Oklahoma ones...]. The staff are very pleasant and helpful when you are looking for particular items. I haven't had a bad experience there yet. Even with surcharge, sometimes it truly pays to shop at your DECCA Commissary.

Counters are empty of most goods i buy and name brand goods are not being restocked. I have special ordered canned items in the past and Carla was real excellent in helping me receive these. These items are not available anymore.

I'm grateful to have one however, when we do our weekly or bi-weekly visits we end up still having to go to Walmart. Selection is okay but could be better. Lastly, the sell by dates on the shelves are close to my purchase date. Need better stock rotation.

I stopped two workers and asked where an item was located and they both pointed me in the right direction, with which side of the isle and even what shelf, they were both spot on. The carry out man was very helpful and friendly and so was the cashier.

Clean, love the prices, but some of the shelves needed stocking. And this was probably due to the recent government shut down. It's ashame that our heroes and their families have to suffer every time the government can't make up it's mind about something.

Always proud to use a benefit I earned! The commissary is one of the best benefits we have! Needs to be maintained a little better. (Attention to detail, even the small details)! But the staff is friendly, courteous, and eager to assist.

Enjoyed picking up ingredients for our homemade italian dinner!!! Pasta and sauce and meatballs were homemade but we did get the premade garlic bread!!!

Altus Commissary while being smaller than some other AFB Commissaries offers big service and friendly help. Recently they have even started offering fresh made Sushi. Try out the deli for amazing cut meats and cheese and the bakery for super awesome custom decorated cakes and delicious breads and rolls.

Definitely cheaper than Walmart and a solid selection. Deli sandwiches were a little lighter than I’ve experienced at other commissaries. Where’s the meat?!
