LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Got his card as I wanted to give a shout out about this place. I would only come here if I ever came this way again.Rooms: They are themed! We got the Elvis room and I was extremely IMPRESSED! I have only stayed in a few “motel” rooms in my life,( where you walk in and want to lay on the bed and cover up with my own clothes!). This room was so clean! Everything was amazing. Bed covers and sheets looked so inviting, just like any of the nicest hotels I’ve been in. And I’ve been in ALOT. Outside the motel was very clean and neat and inviting as well. I literally got under the covers so fast and everything was VERY comfy. From the service to the room I was SHOCKED at the bad reviews. It makes me so sad the bad reviews ppl can leave and the 5stars leave no comments. NOT A SINGLE ROACH to be found. Didn’t even think there would be as we looked around the room. Saw another review about holes in the cover blanket. There were two tiny holes in one, but not even worthy of mentioning as well that happens and it was no big deal. Also, the room had NO BAD SMELL, the towels were very clean and very white and neatly put.Nearby activities: Great little cafe next door. Quaint and good food. Nice variety. Gas station across the street. Didn’t go in but it looked clean and welcoming and like it would have a variety of things to look through.Safety: Liked the deadbolt and internal latch. Blinds were great unlike other reviews stated. Definitely felt like you had privacyWalkability: Could walk to cafe, gas station (and store by some reviews?) Didn’t go there so unsure.Food & drinks: Didn’t get any drinks but they did have a small list of sodas and water that you could purchase at the front desk. Thought that was nice.Noteworthy details: Owner was absolutely fabulous. We arrived around 4am and he was still nice and very helpful.Next morning we left after late checkout and went and parked at the cafe next door and by the time we got out the car the owner was there with a charger and shoes that we had left in the room! Who runs over to do that?! He has a very considerate and kind personality btw.

Traveling on route 66 across the country with two dogs can be a challenge. The rooms where clean surprisingly nice, especially for the price. There is an amazingly awesome antique store right next to the hotel! And on the other side is a fireworks store! How Flippin cool is that! We walked our dogs around the water tower and over to browse the lot of the antique store. It was a great stay in burbon.

Stranded due to mechanical breakdown. Tried to get a room because it's cold outside, and was refused because they didn't have any pet friendly rooms available. They have a sign on the door saying they are pet friendly, but they weren't friendly to me or my dog. When I tried to explain that I was basically stranded, and had nowhere else to go tonight, the clerk at the front desk replied with "That's not my problem", as he rips the registration card I had just filled out in half. At this point I would give 0stars, but that is not an option.

Horrible. My car broke down in this little town and if there was any other option I would have risked it and drove there. But this was the only option. Every surface was sticky I had to wipe it down when I got there the remote was sticky and had gunk in between the buttons also had to wipe it down before anyone touched it. Roaches multiple roaches seen while there they all came out at night and she told me it's because it's an outside entrance hotel. My house has an outside entrance but I don't have roaches? She tried not giving my deposit back for dirty towels... That were already dirty when I got there I literally only use them to wipe up water on the floor and use my own towels because it was disgusting. Stay away unless absolutely have to like I did. Health department called because yuck

RUN!!! This is a horrible, HORRIBLE place, ran by a horrible man!! He thinks he's the only game in town so he can treat you however he wants, literally had roaches crawling everywhere in my room so he switched me rooms and blamed me for bringing the roaches in because I had my door open while loading my suitcases into the room... Told me I need to shut the door or I would be back at the office complaining about bugs again when nobody else had ever complained about bugs! I would drive the extra miles to any place else before I stayed here or sleep in your vehicle he does not deserve the business if he can't have better customer service! He has a horrible attitude towards his customers, I would pitch a tent on the sidewalk before I would rent another room from him I'm not donating another dime to him!!

i am a former housekeeper at numerous hotels so believe me when i say this room was not inspected nor does the housekeeper care to report maintenance issues. the owners were not polite. the room cost “$60 with tax included” per the owner which prob means he charged me a few extra bucks. the tv doesnt work and one of the lights dont work. also the area doesnt have street lighting so the locals drive with high beams on. the nearby gas station charges you big city prices for their late night food items. i noticed the regional dialect by locals and i immediately started missing the midwest.

Advertise "clean rooms" but we actually went across to Dollar General and bought our own sheets/blanket. I don't know if bedding was simply "stained up" (wash cloths were stained as well) or not laundered. Positive side was they allowed dogs ($10 per night) and did have two outside electrical hookups for boats.

It was disgusting. I had my wife n 2 kids with me. Payed a little over 50$ and we left after about 30min after. There were roaches and all types of dead bugs. None of the sinks had any filters. The shower was missing the shower head. Lamp missing the lamp shade. It was straight filthy. Didnt even want a refund, just wanted to leave.

Well my review will start with the bed bugs, even though they wouldnt fix our door knob first, and thats the doorknob to a room they downgraded us to. Then when i told them i wanted to leave, they said i would owe them the price of 5 normal days instead of the price we had already got. Rooms have what looks like black mold, sorry for the honest review, housekeeping lied about fixing all the problems we have too.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD!!!If I could give it zero stars I would!!!Do not stay here!The rooms have mildew, the room we stayed in also had sticky carpet, a hole in the ceiling, the door didn’t lock properly and it had no running water besides a drizzle from the sink. This place is disgusting!To top it off the guy that came to check our room when we checked out accused us of having more animals in the room and got mad that they would have to vacuum up pet hair (we paid additional for our dog on top of the room price to start with) and wanted more money while yelling at us, this is after we paid a little over 60 to stay there over night in the first place when the place is a health hazard!

This was a cool place to stay at. We walked in and got a room for less than $60. The rooms are themed and ours had a Hollywood theme. The room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. The staff was very nice and set off some fireworks for the 4th of July in the parking lot.

It was late we were tired needed to sleep room 109 was very disgusting after I killed all of the flies and spiders. We were able to rest. The AC was so loud we had driven from Chicago so didn't have the energy to argue but next time we know not to stay here.

Horrible place, filthy, I thought I had forgotten my I. D. In the junky room (had to lift the whole door in order for it to lock, the blinds did not close we had to put a blanket over the window) was thrown off the property because I wanted to see if my i.d. was there. I had to dig through the dumpster through all that yucky trash to find it. Horrible people. Horrible place . DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. we did so out of ignorance and desperately needed rest.

Was it perfect? That depends on your definition. Pretty beat up, ripped walls, holes, no themed rooms anymore, but the bed is the best I’ve ever slept on! No bugs, no funny smells, heat took a minute to work but stayed comfortable all night, and the water pressure and temp was great. Would stay here again while traveling through.

When I first walked in it seemed clean but the more I looked around the dirtier I realized it was. And the shower was DISGUSTING...it had some sort of make shift cracking plastic over what appeared to be tile...since it was covered it made me think it was mold infested. Drive on down the road and find something else.

This place blew my mind it said it was a 2 star well it should be a 10 star 🌟 the room was nice and clean, truck parking for Frank, pet friendly, they still use keys to unlock the doors instead of cards. This place is a 10 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Very clean rooms and very reasonable prices with modern amenities, super comfortable beds and you can even get 50's themed rooms at no extra charge. There is a cafe next door and a convenience store across the road.

Holy cow. What a dump. I think the only reason this place didn't have cockroaches was because they were disgusted by this place.Internet didn't work.I had to ram the door to shut it.My bathroom in college was cleaner than this one.

Their TV would not get signal correctly I will tell you that the beds were clean The towels are rough and clean this is an older hotel and needs some work for the price they charge
