Super clean and family owned. My clothes didn't have the "laundry mat" smell to them when I got home. The floor was clean. The lady the owns/runs it is very sweet and sounds like she's there often. And seems to know everyone that comes in. Theres a small toy section that my son enjoyed and a very sweet shop dog. It seems she set up he mat to be kinda child proof which was so convenient. I'll be going here when we're in town.

Pretty decent laundry matt other then a piece of trim or something by one of the dryers coming off and almost hitting me in the face luckily my husband caught it before it hit me if you don't believe me go back and watch the cameras

Very unfortunate this business is not handicap/wheelchair accessible. Was involved in a bad car accident and will be staying on the island for a few months and will be wheelchair bound. Once finally making it into the business with the help of another individual, the smell was awful. Got sat down to rest and a mouse or small rat ran across the floor from beat the change machine across to the farthest washer located near the metal folding station. I will likely be going to Grove to the Washboard Laundromat from here on out. I hate leaving reviews like this but this is the exact reasons that reviews exist. Hopefully Island Laundry can make the changes and corrections they need.

This is the only laundry mat I will even think about using in our area. It is always clean, 90% of the machines actually work. There is not creepy looking people that just hangout at this place. They have decent chairs to set in, a tv to watch (can't change the channel, they don't leave the remote out, witch is very wise), the change machine and the laundry supply machine works and has products in them. Have used this laundry mat several times over the last 5 years.. I greatly appreciate that the owners cares enough to keep the place clean, machines working, and keep it open 24/7 all year and not just when the lake people are here ..****UPDATED MARCH 1, 2022*****We had our washing machine quit working about two months ago; due to Covid we have had to wait for a new set to come in. I chose to once again go to this facility to wash our clothes, I take them back home to dry. When I first started using them again, the large washer (first silver Speed Queen) was $4.00 per load; however last night 02/28/22 this washer was now $5.00. The med/large washer (middle silver Speed Queen) was $3.00, and now it's $4.00. The mega load washer (last silver Speed Queen) was $4.50; and now it is $6.50. I have watched them raise the prices every single week when I go wash our clothes. I understand that things are getting expensive, however people need to remember that there are people in this area that actually try to live, work, and have families here. We are not all out of town rich people.. As well, now they have at least half of the dryers with Out Of Order on them .. Not sure what is going on, but it's starting to resemble all the other laundry mats in our area...

Clean, open 24 hrs all week, bathroom accessible and clean. They had TV on and comfortable seating. Small but very clean and equipment was clean and did a good job.

Great laundromat. Convenient to monkey island. Clean. 24 hour. $1.75 for the top-loaders. Dryer was 6 minutes per quarter. I had no issue with the dryer (but I wasn't washing a load of towels or jeans). I'd definitely recommend this place.

Anytime I need to do laundry else where then home for what ever reason this is where I go. It is quaint, very clean, has tv, recliners, toys for the kiddos even has dry cleaning ,drop off and pick up for the busy folk. If you can't get to them they will pick up and deliver. Great place

It's open 24 hrs a day which is awesome becuz I get off work at 3am and I can do my laundry before I go home. Machines work good and it's got tv and air conditioning.
