I called about a side by side the price was reasonable and they did not have freight charges and all of the other fees like the other dealerships. I asked what was the best price for the side by side salesman said it was what was listed. In no part of the conversation did the salesman mentioned a rebate. I asked about financing the financing lady called and said it’s 1.99. Great this process is working out easy until it didn’t. The same night news was talking about rebates on cars. I thought oh I should ask if there is a rebate on the side by side. I called and asked about it the salesman sent me to the finance lady. She said oh there’s been a mistake and this makes the second one the salesman has made. We had to eat the last one. The salesman gave you the rebate price. Well he did not inform me of that.Her attitude change and she wasn’t so nice anymore. She sent me to the salesman and he basically blamed me because I did not ask the right questions. I asked to speak to the person in charge he said well it’s partially your fault because you didn’t ask about the rebate. How am I supposed to know about the Rebate and how in anyway it’s my fault. No it’s y’all’s fault I am the customer. I was going to buy a boat from them but not anymore.

Great customer service here. I bought a waverunner on consignment there yesterday and while on the lake it shut off no power. Called them and they had me fixed and running in 5 min the next morning due to a bad relay. Thanks for getting me fixed up before the 4th of july!

I bought a Yamaha 242X from Dick Lanes this year. The staff there was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and went out of their way to make time for us and took us out on the water for a test drive even though it was a cold spring day. They even took a little bit of flak from my wife's somewhat hostile negotiating method without getting worked up (LoL). Anyway the sale went good after that and they spent a lot of time with me on the day I picked up the boat teaching me all the ins and outs. Everything from when we first walked in there when we went and picked up the boat was great. Of course there's more to good service then just making the sale. For example we went tubing this weekend and it was only our fourth time out on the water so we were still learning, but accidentally sucked a rope into the propeller Jets, which caused one of the engines to shut down. I went to Dick lanes and asked them what I should do and they told me to bring the boat by that day. I drove it over with the one engine that was still working and have them pull me out onto a trailer where their technician climbed under the boat and Cut the tangled tow rope bit by bit off of the propeller shaft. They had me back on the water that day and really saved the weekend, and they didn't even charge me for the service even when I tried to get them to take my money. Customer service was about average when we first purchased. After purchase we had a problem getting our titles. No one would call me back. Sales Rep said he would turn over to GM, but again no one would return a call. I would not recommend this business for future purchases.

my husband and I bought 2 sea-doos a few months ago and are EXTREMELY happy with them and Dick Lanes!!! had a few bumps in the road due to them being slightly used, but the staff here made sure they were in tip top shape and that we were pleased!!! we live two and a half hours away and they delivered one to us that was in the shop a little longer than expected. couldn't be happier!! great staff, great owners!! will definitely be returning for all of our lake playing needs!!!!!

Bought a new jet ski less then a year ago. Happy with sales and financial staff. But service has not been good. Brought it on a Memorial Day and was busy as I aspected. Was told it was a easy fix but had a a lot of jet skis in front. So I ask hopefully next week. For sure he said. So I said great and could you change the oil for me since it is due for break in period. Called twice to see if it was ready, still not ready. 18 days later I call again and he would get it in that day. Ick it up and the bill was $507.00 for a oil change and a easy fix that the parts for the fix was $7.00. Never again.

Dick Lane's of Grand Lake rents out older, beat up watercrafts & then tries to gouge you for damage that was there prior to renting. Plus, the hourly rates are high. Avoid at all costs, there are multiple other rental places on Grand. Unfortunately for us, we didn't do our research prior to renting from Dick's.
