The cages were clean, had food, & water. I really don't like going there because I want to take all the dogs home with me. It's so sad these fur babies 😞 I almost cry 😢 😭 when I go there. I did adopt a Pit (Copper picked me) he is very loving & thinks he's a lap 🐕 Copper is indoors most of the time & is doing very well. 😁😄😀

I did not end up getting an animal. Immediately upon entering, the smell was so strong and awful it made my chest and stomach hurt. Also in my opinion, $100 for a dog that is not fixed, is a little to much money.

I had my female dog spayed and immunized here. That was great! But her female puppy was adopted out when I wasn't sure if I was able to give her away. I pray that she has a new good life.

A few years ago I adopted a sweet little chihuahua and the director (Shannon) was quite rude. A few weeks ago I adopted a lab and the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. It was a much nicer experience this time. And we absolutely love both of our dogs!

I was hospitalized for a week and a half. My American Pitbull Terrier, Alexus was taken there during that time. When I got her back she had lost 20 lbs, looked sick and awful. She had lost some teeth, and was kept in an outside kennel during below freezing temperatures. And they lost her custom leash because, "It was such a long time and we do cleaning".

We adopted a shepherd hound puppy from here. She was 4 months old and had recieved her first immunizations and had been spade. We took her home to our other dog and the rest of our family and had a wonderful 2 days with eachother.On the third day my puppy going sick with parvo. The puppy most likely contracted it from the animals it was next too, which is not entirely the caretakers fault. But, my puppy has now been at the vet for 3 days on an I.V. We call and check on her every morning and miss her terribly.

Great place to adopt animals! Very well organized. We went to get a companion for our outside dog. We told them what we were looking for, described our dog and his habits. They were able to name off several dogs to choose from. We found him the prefect companion!

Great help from staff and knowing they give out information for certain situations is a plus. Good hearted staff and I highly recommend calling in case you need help with an animal.

They must be doing something right. Every evening I go walking down Sandy Creek and on more than one occasion I've caught the cats breaking into the animal shelter via the fence. You know they're doing something right when the animals are breaking into it!!!!!

I don't think people realize that bad reviews affect these animals chances getting homes. I drove all the way from Ardmore and I am glad I drove to PAWS. I adopted the most amazing kitten. She was hit by a car and they took her in. She is technically a disabled cat. I adopted her at the Pet Sence and I am so glad I got her. She is the best and PAWS and Pet Sence took so good of her.

PAWS has improved under the new manager. The employees were working with several of us wanted to adopt at the same time. They called the manager and she came right in with a smile on her face. Like I said it's a big change.

These people work day after day trying these new and interesting ways to adopt our unwanted dogs and cats. They have a strong bond with other members in the community to take wildlife drop offs, and farm animal drop offs. They have the best networking skills for the benefits of the animals!
