It's a small quaint store that instantly reminds me of my childhood home stores. They have a little bit of everything. The wonderful smell of the smoker cooking wondrous meets from the butcher shop is the first thing you notice. The second thing is the service and how friendly everyone is, even if it's your first time there, by the time you leave it feels like you're old friends. Not only does the butcher sell meets but they make sandwiches as well.

Oh oh oh oh Now this place is the thing I loved most about Ada. Great choices of high quality meats. You can't get better quality unless you raised the meat your self. The staff are always great friendly and ready to help. Tell you what this is THE spot for your lunch. Try their brisket sandwich you will LOVE IT. Its the best in town.

Pulled up to abbots and I have to say I’m surprised on how expensive meat here is and they don’t even Allow a public restroom! To the owner, it’s really disappointing and distasteful for your establishment to charge extremely high prices and especially have an establishment that serves to the public, I say I work very hard for my money and don’t get help from food stamps, I wonder what your sales would be is you didn’t have government funding from the public, I’m sure your would loose lots of business! You could at least offer Bathroom privileges!

Would give it a 4.3 if I could. Got 3 inch thick pork chops, where I can smoke them on the grill, came out excellent. Got Ribeyes many times, T-Bone, strips very good meat.Just remember, don't trim all the fat from your meat. Because thats a lot of your flavor.Also, let your cut rest before and after it's cooked. Not long, just a little bit.

Was in the store today to get a ribeye. Joe was cutting up some ham hock and I asked if he’d do the same for me and he ask if I wanted them cut up which I did to use in my pinto beans. Well I’ve cooked a 1,000 pots of beans over the years and used every pork product and always loved ham hock the most, but unfortunately I’ve never had any ham hock but just smaller portions. In the end Joe cut the hock up in nice pieces with more meat than you’d typically get and absolutely perfect in my first pot of pintos. Thanks much as ham hock and pintos are awesome!!

Moved to Ada 8 months ago and I have bought meat packages here at lest 5 times. The quality has always been great but I’ve recently called an order in early one morning hopping to pick it up later that evening. I was told that they didn’t know if they would get my order done that day and took my phone number. I never got a call back to pick up my order. It was as though I never placed one. Customer service 👎🏻

Abbott's Meat is a wonderful store. I do not get my meat anywhere else. You cannot beat the quality, not to mention the down home, small town goodness and kindness the employees and owner treat you with.

Disappointed with the steak box because the steaks had dark places that smelled really bad like it had been freezer burned or something. Would have given 5 stars if the steaks were fresh. Gave two stars because the pork box was pretty good.

Abbott's is the best for the old one on one butcher shop can't beat it the best for getting great meats the way you want it cut value and gourmet spread through out this at home neighborhood market .If you have never been here you must try this friendly service they are a blast of the past of one on one butcher shop that you can't get at these big chain groceries

Have shopped here since I moved to Ada in 1996.have seem lots of change in Ada but you can still count on the small butcher shop family owned and run love them all ,great to see the next generation of the family taking on the task of feeding Ada ,you can grab a quick sandwich, or aside of beef for the freezer or big party.miss seeing Joe there but glad they aren't closing they look like they are regrouping and using more of the store it great for the neighborhood lots of walker daily ,And used to be the last outside payphone in Ada . Lol

Check your meat packages because i am always short on something in my package. Customer service was terrible today. Moral between co-workers was shamfully embarrassing. Didnt even get fresh packaged meat, i got factory packaged product that showed me laziness and no dedication.
