Love coming here for dog toys and aquarium products. Reasonably priced and lots of variety. Now this is a pet store and they have quite a few pets here for sale, so.of you have any allergies take caution. I am slightly allergic to rodents and was itching and coughing when leaving here. I will definitely be back, but won't linger near the open pet cages.

Can't even begin to tell how going to We Lov Pets on a cold winter day just to look at the animals to kill time, changed our lives completely for the BEST. We adopted not ONE but TWO kittens!!! Love the new location! Staff is great and super friendly. Got a great deal on new fish for our tank and supplies. Prices are good and they carry everything you could need for nearly any animal. We live in Newark but gladly travel to Zanesville to go to this location!

Went with questions about fish, and the two guys who run the aquariums actually knew what they were talking about.Great service, knowledgeable and a good selection. What else could ya ask for?They have a ton of various pets as well, though I have only ever bought fish, and aquarium supplies.

Their salt water fish are more expensive than other places, not a lot to choose from either. It is better to go to Aquatic Adventures.

On two different occasions the employees were very rude to us. The same boy was rude both times, I understand people have bad days, but there's no need for him to act that way. I'm sorry but pet smart is also cheaper and the employees are willing to be POLITE. This place will be my last resort. Hate to say it, but I truly don't like being disrespected or made to feel like I'm an inconvenience to a register operator... 😞 This place used to be the best to shop at, now I'd rather wait on a chewy order to be delivered or go to pet smart.

Rude and disrespectful! Had to wait almost 20 minutes to get help. Finally asked for help only to be treated with extreme rudeness. Young staff needs better education on fish and need customer service training!!

The fish section has really gone downhill since Hadia left. Just recently an employee tried selling me a fish with ich and a dead snail and told me they just didn't know anything about fish. It seems like almost all the employees who knew what they were doing left and now it's just a lot of kids who don't know what to do. The store overall has gone down in quality.

Make sure you're ready to buy a bird cage from their store or have a picture of your cage before buying a bird from this store if you want the 14 day warranty. The ONLY We love pets that set's their own rules. I've asked 3 other store managers, and they've never heard of this "rule"

Went there looking for a specific item whjich was in stock but really over priced. It rather out of the way and really can't be seen from the road. They had a doggy wash with only one stall and the door was locked. They still had Christmas painting on the window and I get the feeling they may not be in business much longer because of their hidden location.

Smells like a stock yard when you walk in. We bought some fish and the guy dropped them on the floor and just put them in the bag. They were dead the next day. Staff are teenagers who are more worried about closing time than helping people. But they do have a variety of pet's and supplies.

I was pretty disappointed when I went there to purchase some hermit crabs and saw the way they were being kept. They even had a little sign on the front of the aquarium showing the "right" crabitat and the "wrong" one. Neither of those were accurate. They were in an aquarium with only coconut fiber as substrate. The correct substrate is 5 cups of play sand to 1 cup of coconut fiber. This should be at least 10 inches deep. There's was not only wrong - it was only about 3 inches deep. There was no lid to keep in the humidity which is crucial to the crabs because they don't have lungs - they have gills that require humidity to thrive. There were many other things that were not correct but I don't have time to name them all. This is no surprise because most pet stores are just as guilty as this one when it comes to the keeping of these awesome little creatures. It's really sad that a store that sells these doesn't know the proper set up for them to live and thrive.

We buy the Dr. Marty's freeze dried dog food from Amazon. This place is the only place that I've been able to find Dr. Marty's Dog Food near me. Everything else is reasonably priced... they sell animals here as well.

Independently stationed somewhat to be a competitor to the practically next door and much larger Petsmart. We Lov Pets had amazingly remained over the years even while seemingly hidden from the main roads of Northpointe entirely.And though is also has pet products at rather even to the same prices as Petsmart as well, it has survived and even thrived regardless of this fact. Customer loyalty is seemingly high and Customer service even higher.They are quite welcoming and very helpful with any question no matter how confused you might be about a particular food or animal.So even without the extra brick and mortar to make them as large as the box store style pet supply stores, they earn their place indeed.
