Rude people and cashier's takes forever to get threw the lines now they have self checkouts that half work and don't accept coupons that are mobile half the time really irritating to have to go there so much to check out and the people who are managers the three ladies are all best of friends talk about customers and employees.. during a recent issue asked for corp # from cashier because past 3 times there coupons don't apply or something was marked down and I was in a rush so just ended up paying for it anyway this time asked for the number and instead of a manager coming up to give me the number the cashier who went to get her said the manager said they don't know it you can Google it.... Just a joke..

Products are fine but some of their Clerks or cash register attendance are rude uneducated and by that I mean in reference to the products they carry they usually have no idea where things are but the manager and I believe it is her assistant or wonderful people and do a great job of trying to keep the store staffed. But my biggest problem with them is that they have this one older lady with a mullet and she never checks for coupons she's overcharged his two or three times and they still won't get rid of that lady, and she's very rude.

The store is mostly alright. Their food section could use a little expanding and it wouldn't hurt them to have enough employees to keep at least two of the three registers open and better training on how to properly bag items as to ensure optimal condition of the items purchased when the customer gets home and more extensive training on the registers so that the employees don't constantly have to wait for the manager to get to them to help with a transaction.

I've shopped there several times. Good place to get batteries, trash bags, paper products, and laundry detergent. They seem to be in good locations. Good for when you just need a few items, and don't want to travel to Walmart.

Very pleasant workers at the Putnam store in Zanesville. They're very helpful when needing assistance and will walk with you to show exactly where it is. Always greeted when I come through the door and thanked before I leave as they ask to come back soon. Very clean store and easy to find things.

Always has what we are looking for and more, got pictures from there and they are hanging in my living room now. Also got things for my kitchen love the fall time seasons lots of things I can get for my fall time decorating! Love it so much thank you Dollar General and love there make up sellection and earrings my daughter just loves them

Waited in line for several minutes while the person in front of me rang out on sever different transactions. While the line formed about 10 people waiting, the next cashier opened and took the customer behind me because she knew her by name. Mean while I continue to wait for the multiple transactions to be completed. Once I said something the cashier just rolled her eyes and sighed. Needless to say if this is how your going to treat people I won't be back to this store. This is like going to wal-mart.

I always enjoy my shopping at Dollar General. It is clean, Tidy and easy to locate what I am looking for. The prices are fair and the products are good brand names and off-brands alike.

The store was clean, but we had an issue when checking out. The manager was horrible and yelled at my fiance for offering to help (go get the displayed price). I hope that she gets fired soon.

Every time I entered a store like Dollar General or Family Dollar my the alarm would go off and I was totally embarrassed until he manager at Family Dollar took my purse and ran it through his scanner bless his heart and fixed it so friendly and so kind

Hope your not in a hurry. Usually extra long lines and the other workers rarely stop doing what they are doing to open up another register to help speed up the check out process. Management is poor

We visit our nearest DG several times a month, but over the past 6-9 mos find items we used to regularly buy there are, maddeningly, not available there. The answer from clerks about why is this is always the same: we just get what they send us. So we drive to another DG that's much farther away (in a similar n'borhood to ours) & find the 'missing' items w/no trouble. Is this DG policy supposed to make sense? It does not & it's very annoying, to boot. Grrr.

Was there yesterday on Putnam Ave. And manager was rude and told me to stop coming at her she she could move her cart full of boxes , first of all she was just standing there talking and she was not moving the cart till she saw me. Very disrespectful

There is never enought of your DG brands in stock. Like toilet papper, sanitary napkins, vitiams, and in your dollar aisle. Your stores are allways out of these everywhere I go.

4 checkout lanes more than enough employees working but always only one cashier. Be prepared to wait more than 10 minutes in line

The cashiers are absolutely horrible! EVERYTIME i go in there they are so rude and only ever have 1 cash register open when there is a line all the way through the store and have several employees just standing around....
