I love this place! Lots of guns, ammo, reloading and shooting supplies. Prices are a little high, but not as high as I've seen at other stores, but not as low as online vendors.If you're out of state, they will not sell you a stripped firearm receiver. It's not their fault. The law is absolutely stupid! As the guy behind the counter stated when I questioned this: "you could turn this into a rifle, but you could also convert it into a pistol, so we can't sell it to you." 😆 I find that absolutely hilarious! Why? I headed back to Pennsylvania, stopped at another gun shop, and immediately purchased a stripped lower receiver. Here's the stupid part about this pointless and useless law. I completed the exact same federal paperwork and background check in Pennsylvania, as I would have in Ohio. 😆 It makes no sense! I only went to this store because they were having a sale on a brand that I wanted.It worked out better for me anyway. I got one cheaper, and only paid $2 for the background check, which is all it should cost everywhere to begin with. I bring this up so others will hopefully make their representatives aware of how useless and stupid this law is.

For a "big box" type of store their staff in firearms are very knowledgeable and helpful. I support mom and pop local stores when I can but the selection here is second to none.

Came in multiple times, staff very knowledgeable and helpful, built an AR online and came in for attachments and ammo and got everything at an excellent price and the staff member installed everything on my AR for me in a matter of 10 minutes. Im a very happy camper. Highly recommend.

I've bought 2 pistols here and 2 of my friends have bought 1 each as well and I've also purchased a bunch of ammo, targets, and other accessories. My salesman in the gun department made sure I got my promotional items that the manufacturers were offering. A bunch of good people and products sold at fair prices.

Great selection of fishing gear: terminal tackle, lures, rods, reels, line, storage, and everything in between. The same goes for firearms, knives, camping gear, hunting, outdoor wear, etc. An all around fantastic shop for everything outdoors. Competitive prices too!

Very good selection of ammo and guns. Good prices on guns as well. Good service and knowledgeable staff. The gun counter can get busy at times, especially on the weekend. Expect a little bit of a wait, but they usually staff the counter well enough that the wait is minimal. They also have a great selection of knives. Very good outdoor store. I highly recommend it.

My wife bought a shotgun there, I was in the store earlier looking for a rifle earlier that day and the worker assumed she came to buy the weapon for myself later. He did what he was supposed to do with the questions to her asking if it was for me. After the questions he sold her a very nice citadel shotgun for a very good price. Good job to the salesman and the store as a whole. Can't wait to see her shoot it as well as myself shooting it.

Pretty nice place for hunting, working, camping, and fishing. Also, they have a good amount of knives and hiking gear. It's a quick stop if it's to far to go to bass pro shops or other places alike.

The photo I shared says it all. When they sell a decorative patch of a bullet saying "I wanna be inside you", I am no longer going to spend money there. I am a Veteran and a big fan of guns. But I am not a big fan of gun violence and certainly not interested in doing business with anyone who thinks that patch is appropriate. Tasteless as hell.

Best prices on everything firearm related. Hundreds of guns to choose from. I promise, what ever You're looking for, they have it. And for us PA residents, you can buy rifles and leave with it same day. Handguns have to be sent to a PA store. This is one of only a few locations I'll purchase ammo from.. Can't beat the prices! Check them out!

I’ve been to (I think) every Fin location and Youngstown’s is on par. Pricing is generally competitive even with online vendors and often less by the time you bake in shipping. Excellent selection of a wide variety of quality outdoor equipment. Staff always goes above and beyond even when it’s crazy busy, they’re willing to help and pretty knowledgeable. Nice sales on the email and paper flyers regularly.

Good selection of ammo, they have pretty much all common ammo and some specialty on and off. They have alot of guns to choose from, usually a selection of finishes for each. They have tons of clothing, camping, fishing and just everyday outdoor stuff. If your into reloading ammo They probably have you covered there too. You gotta check it out for yourself.

Purchased a Bersa 380 Thunder for a decent sale price. Got it home and cleaned it only to find it had a burr in the barrel that I didn't see when I bought it. Brought it back the next day expecting to have to send it back and get fixed under warranty but they went out of their way to exchange it with another one. They do everything by the book there too, so expect to spend some time waiting if you're looking to buy a firearm. You get great service and they go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want and know how to use it. They also go over the forms and background checks with you so you know exactly what you're doing. Don't let the lines at the firearm counter hold you back, it's worth waiting a little while to get their service. They also have great deals on ammo and accessories. They have a HUGE selection of pretty much every kind of sporting goods there at fair prices. If you're looking for a specialty item or something, they have it. Sales people are knowledgeable and more than happy to discuss the products with you so you get what you want. The guy at the knofe counter is friendly and helpful. Even when you check out they're great to you. This is the best sporting goods store around for any outdoor activities!

Called several different gun stores looking for a Glock 17 Gen 5 mos. None had them except for the Boardman Fin location. Grey from the gun department answered and was very helpful and reserved the only on he had. When I go to the store he was very helpful and friendly. Went over how to operate the gun safely as an extra safety step. Very personable and there needs to be more employees like him. The lady at the register, she could have been a little nicer but could have also been having a bad day.

I like this store,like most stores its just a store with allot of guns. People were cordial ,got my purchase and left. This store in Boardman,isn't open any Mondays,so you should take note of that. Also,they only hold a gun purchase for 24 hrs, no layaway. They're very helpful on phone,thats how I was able to hold my purchase from the day before.

I usually go here for all my hunting/self defense needs. They’ve done their absolute best trying to keep ammo and guns on the shelf and available for everyone. Their hunting apparel is nice and their auxiliary outdoor gear is also good quality.

I love this store. I have been using them as my go too gun store for about three years now. They always have fair prices and reasonable sales. The workers are super polite and they go above and beyond. One of the gentlemen at the counter helped my mother out with some .380 ammunition even though he wasn't supposed to go into the stock. Outstanding and I would only ever go to Fin to get my guns and outdoor gear.
