What a delightful hardware store. Old school feel, well organized, a little bit of everything and friendly staff and owner. A peaceful cat sleeps in the window while you can see keys being cut up in the loft! Love the vintage bicycles and stories behind them! So glad we stopped!

YS Hardware is always my first stop when I need something for my house. Dan and the crew are knowledgeable, friendly and honest every time I visit.I recently took them my entire block of kitchen knives for sharpening and I got them back later the same day sharp enough to easily slice through paper.You can't go wrong with YS Hardware, and if they don't have something they can probably get it for you!

They probably have what you need. Not the greatest prices, but decent for a mom-and-pop shop. I just needed a couple of bottles of 50:1 oil for a snowblower. Just know that if you spend less than 10 bucks on credit/debit they'll hit you for a small fee. But it was better than driving out of town just for some lubricating oil!

A very well stocked locally owed and friendly hardware. Great local treasure for Yellow Springs. Everything a hardware should have, don't forget to go downstairs for additional plumbing and other items. A UPS drop-off facility with parking from two streets, front and side doors.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff but no place to park and everything in the store is WAY overpriced. Was purchasing florescent lights and all the bulbs were $10 more than any other hardware stores in the area.

This place is alrighty but the worker amani lied to me. And ther was a leak down stairs and i told them and they did not care or do anything about it. They also wouuld not show me were an item was. But the cat is cute and the items they sell are meh...🤷😐😕
