Hands down, this is one of my family's favorite shops in Yellow Springs. Their selection of teas and earth-friendly household items is excellent! We most recently purchased an herbal tea blend and essential oil-infused mineral salt blend, both of which have been lovely. More than that, the owner is so thoughtful and kind. It's always a joy to stop in here!

Cannot recommend shopping here enough. Came in to purchase some tea (which was great) and forgot my credit card. Called the shop and the owner had been holding it and was even willing to stay late to get it to me. When I came to pick it up he not only had the card but also gave me some goodies and tea on the house. Incredibly friendly staff with an awesome selection of teas that clearly care about their customers.

Went on a little trip to yellow springs with my sister a couple months back when we had the pleasure of walking into this beautiful little store, many natural and hand made products to choose from not only for us humans but for our pets as well. my favorite thing i purchased from here was something called "dog herb" it's an amazing product that has completely changed my dogs for the better! They have so much life and energy now! This place is the real deal for sure.

My first time here. I was impressed by the nice selection of handcrafted herbal teas! If you love tea, especially unique blends, you will enjoy this store. Purchased the "Relax" blend, and love it! Also jasmine pearls (tea). Nice selection of essential oils and associated products, too,a owner /staff were so nice and friendly. I'll definitely be a returning customer either in person or online!

The Shoppe is soothing. So glad it was still there. It was over 15 years since I had been there & I traveled for over an hour to get there. Found a couple of unique jewelry pieces to go along with the bulk sage I purchased. Well worth the drive.

I occasionally browse Yellow Springs about once a year and this weekend I went into the Village Herb Shoppe for the first time. I'm going to have to make my visits more frequent. I love tea. I'm very snobby about my tea. I drink it all day every day.I saw a few packages of tea blends that caught my eye and for the very reasonable price decided to try them. I bought 2 different, a white jasmine and Roobios. Both were excellent. I'll be regularly buying my leaves here now.

I was thoroughly surprised and impressed by the kindness and genuine care for our family that we received from Owa (i think i spelled that right) and the other lady who I completely forgot to ask her name even gave me a hug! Hands down the best experience we have had in yellow springs. I cant wait to learn more!

Friendly and knowledgeable owner who is willing to explain his products and help you find whatever you need in Yellow Springs whether it is at his shop or elsewhere. A true herbalist who makes the most fascinating mixture of herbal tea blends. The wide selection of essential oils makes this a must stop if you are into aromatherapy. The bee pollen and honey is pretty great as well. Whatever you buy here you can't go wrong.

Owa is, as always, a treasure and hugely helpful. My family has sought his advice in a multitude of issues through the decades.***The shop has moved into King's Yard, off Xenia Ave (68). Walk just past Ye Olde Trail Tavern, take a left, and go to the second shop in the Yard. A convenient parking lot is located next to the rear of the Tom's Market parking lot ( farmer's market Saturday mornings will find this lot blocked with wonderful stalls of produce and other local goods).

One of the area's most knowledgeable and friendly herbalists who has a great supply of herbal teas in potent formulas he mixes himself. If you are sick or lacking energy or just not feeling right Owa is the man to recommend the right herbs in tonics, teas, and/or essential oils to make you feel better. A better variety of herbal tonics, herbal teas and essential oils than you will find in Yellow Springs or anywhere else for that matter and someone who really knows what they are used for and which ones will help with your specific needs. And if he doesn't have what will help you he can get it for you or point you in the right direction, that's just the type of friendly,educated and intelligent guy he is.

Awa Is an amazing man, he makes everything personal and he is so very caring. no matter what you need herbs for, he can help you and if by chance you need something he doesn't carry he will tell you how to find it! I believe God sent him to me, we found him on accident right after I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Since then I have been doing herbal teas and oils and on last scoping I was cancer free. I'm a Christian woman so between my faith in the good lord and my friend Awa they are the reason I'm smiling today! If I had done chemo would I be smiling today?? I don't believe so! Trust this man he is a godsend to all of us! We love you Awa keep doing what you're doing its working!
