This is a great Dollar General - and I think most of the credit goes to the staff. Most of them are really nice and they are always helpful. When I go in and don't know where something is that I'm looking for, they can always tell me what aisle and what side. As I'm often in a hurry, that means a lot to me. It was recently remodeled and they added more space so they are able to stock more items, which is also nice. The store can be a little dark which is why I couldn't give it five stars.

Good store but rude managers that need to be checked. They take there frustrations out on the costumers because they seem overwhelmed and behind schedule . I Asks one of them if he was “alright “ ... in the middle of a transaction because he was being very impatient with me when my card had error reading 4/24/20 . I’ve worked for the company before and know they shouldn’t anyone that way.

They had a lot of holes in the shelves. A lot of things missing, in other words. I was hoping to pick up a laser pointer, a wireless mouse, and a HDMI cable. Three pretty common electronic items. They didn't have any of them. I needed some rock salt for the sidewalk. They were sold out up front, but the clerk (bless her) went in back and checked. They had one 20 lb bag. It had been taped on one corner, but I guess it was mostly still there. I left with the salt, a pair of house slippers, and a can of shaving cream, which was less than half the items on my list. But the clerk was very nice. So that was a plus. Overall, kind of a mediocre experience though.

I love this place, it's right around the corner, and seems to have at least something in every category. Generic OTC meds are very reasonable and wide variety, no need to go to a drug store. Milk, eggs and bacon. Cleaning supplies and household items are very well stocked. I'm in here weekly looking for something.

I've been to several dollar stores looking for a specific stuffed animal that they all used to sell. My son can't sleep without one but it seems they don't carry them anymore. I found 5 at this store and bought them all. Thanks so much for having exactly what my son needed!

Good discount store with variety. Stores vary greatly on how kept up. Mostly crowded aisles with stock not put up and worse ones not that clean. But overlook disaray and you can save money on many basics.

I'm aquaintances with the workers, helpful, and honestly they probably don't get paid what they are worth! But the stuff is decently cheap (cheaper than the local grocery store on a lot of things!) And I get most, if not all of the makeup I buy from here!

If you are reading this review it is likely you aren't local. Welcome to this humble midwestern college hamlet, a besieged oasis of weirdness that exists out of place. In much the same way, this Dollar General's golden florescent aura stands alone as the one and only place to buy batteries, tampons, retro video game emulators, garden hose coupling adapters, ibuprofen, other stuff, etc. within several miles in any direction. As such, the locals have largely abandoned any Ill will normally directed at similar manifestations of capitalism's futility, choosing instead to bask in the glory of a shopping experience taking place in a building smaller than an aircraft hanger or indeed any shopping at all if it is past like 7 or 8 pm. For a bonus wholesome surprise I recommend listening carefully while checking out. You can sometimes hear the eerie sounds of a manager singing along quietly to whatever 70's rock anthem is on the radio in a way that makes you wonder if you are not in fact interacting with the very same person that must have recorded those vocal tracks so long ago.

Most cluttered dollar general I have ever been in. Looks like they haven't put up Anything on the shelves from the last 3 truckloads. There were isles and iskes of empty shelves and boxes and cargo carts lining every isle and every end cap covered. Looked more like a hoarder lived there than like a store for people to buy anything.

Bad experience with Brittany. She checked me out right at closing, something didn’t ring up 50% off and I let her know which she replied by screaming “I KNOW”! She proceeded to belittle, harass and mess up my entire order. I explained something wasn’t right based on my total and she said I had to pay for it before she could look at the transaction on the receipt. So I paid and pointed out what was wrong she said I needed to come back the next day to get it fixed! I still can’t believe she actually has a job! Her lack of social skills, poor customer service and her inability to regulate her emotions is astounding. I won’t be back shopping and will let friends know too.

The doctor general staff is very friendly and helping me by my o Ohio State t shirt. They also have cool Gatorade beverages which were a godsend because it was so hot yesterday

Was a pleasant experience. The ladies were helping a customer in front of me. The customer didnt mean to be difficult,but the ladies behind counter were patient and helped her until she was satisfied.

The store is always a mess and the manager Michelle Shaw, was VERY RUDE when I needed to talk with her in private about an issue and she threatened to call the police if I "caused trouble". I have shopped there for years and spent a good deal of money at that store. I informed her of that and said that I will no longer shop there. Tom's Mkt. may be a little more expensive, but that store is clean, well staffed with friendly, HELPFUL people.

boxes everywhere. bathroom was so so. the floors throughout the store were filthy. everything on all shelves was a cluster. but this has been my experience in most Dollar Generals. Dont understand it.

Very large for this chain, newly remodeled and has all departments available. Always very friendly staff, often see them gently treat young old and differently abled.

They had everything we needed and is located right next to the road with ease and convenience!! That makes it wonderful to stop and purchase much needed items without all the hassle!!!!

Wasn't busy when I stoped in but didn't see anyone working at first. Then I noticed a worker and he was very rude. And the check wasn't any better. Will not be stopping by there again unless I have to

A very convenient discount store in Yellow Springs. Good place for quickly needed houshold kitchen items or food. Ample parking.

Store was very chaotic. I think they were rebuilding some displays. None of the employees wore anything with the store logo and the store smelled. The man at the register was very friendly.
