Good coffee, nice area to work on school work. But! nearly every time I’ve gone, the employees are talking loudly (either flirting with a customer they know or angry-talking politics). The pastries are really good, and I have been treated kindly a few times. It’s a hit or miss.And a warning: Do not let the punkish high schooler make a coffee for you! He’s nice, but I’m not sure he cares much. He also wasted 10 pumps of lavender in a free large drink for a girl he liked and thought it was hilarious.

This place seemed very popular! We arrived around 2pm. We had to stand outside - about 5-10 minutes - before we could enter, as the place was just that full of people. There were approx 7 people ahead of us and 2 gals with 4 kids waiting outside with us. And when we got inside noticed there was only one person making/serving the coffee. (My first time here so I'm not sure if this is normal)He was busy busy and very nice, working as fast as he could.There is room for approx 12-15 people to sit inside which made it very cozy.I ordered a Candy Cane latte but it tasted more like maybe a vanilla latte- really no flavor but it was still just good. My friend ordered the eggnog drink and said it was just good too. We sat inside, in front of the window which was fun to people watch and chat.Parking: We found a parking lot down the street and around the corner... which wasn't a big deal. (I would consider yourself lucky if you happen upon an open spot in front of the store.) The walk to the store wasn't that long and the cold fresh air was nice.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up and the doorway is very narrow. I did not see an entrance from the back of the shop so I would say no wheelchair entrance.

My girlfriend and I have only been here twice. It was so good the first time, we came back today. I got the iced Milky Way, she got the Frozen Snow Storm. Both EXCELLENT. I am by no means a coffee snob, but I love this place. Will become a regular on my visits to Yellow Springs.NOTE: Star rating based on my own formula consisting of flavor, cost, facilities, service, and overall satisfaction. I frequent here quite often and for about 15 years. Just seems when the owner isn't working some of the YOUNG staff can be rude at times. I was there two days in a row this week and one of the days asked if the restroom was available I was told no, meanwhile a man and his grandson came in and asked the same thing and was told yes. When I purchased my coffee the young lady wasn't very friendly at all but was friendly to others that came in. I know the owner caters to and speaks to ALL with kindness when they come in. I'm not going to get into what I KNOW it may be....but it's almost 2024 and as far as dealing with customers and especially working for someone the service needs work

I left without my coffee. The tall blond young lady behind the counter thought she had the right to speak to my friend like she was a child. I couldnt believe she worked there and had the nerve to get in our buisness and tell us what to do. She should quit making coffee and take up private detective work. Or maybe get herself a mask and be a vigilante. I realize if we lived in Yellow springs, we would have gotten different treatment. That said, i had coffe here once before and it was not good. At all. So shame on me.

And here is the rest of the untold story by Kerri. When Dave C asks you not to take his picture in my business - DO NOT TAKE HIS PICTURE! You and your friends disregarded his request and when he left you proceeded to pull out your phones and click away. You then disregarded and disrespected my employee’s request to not take his picture! These are simple rules of public etiquette which you chose not to follow. Disappointing, to say the least, how you disrespected Dave and my employee.

This is thankfully a not-so-hidden gem in YS. Right on the main street in town, a super chill laid back atmosphere with friendly folks wherever you look. From traditional coffees & lattes to specialty house brews, Chai teas, hot chocolate and homemade treats, whether you like coffee products or not you will find something to savor. My favorite is the Iced caramel snowstorm and let me just put it this way...I do not care for caramel, but this amazing concoction has changed my mind! Drinks are amazing, and again remember the people are so quaint & friendly in this town/ village. Please be courteous and treat everyone here with respect and I assure you they will ALWAYS do the same. Ciao gli amici!

Only been here once back in March. I ordered a seasonal drink. Raspberry flavored hot mocha, I believe. Good coffee but definitely didn't assert the wow factor. Fortunately, I will visit again to improve my current review :) Very kind employee and adorable cafe.Parking: Parallel parking, limited spots. Go to public parking near bike path.

Overall, it's disappointing. Two employees behind the counter but one sat on a chair on her phone with a room (small) full of customers while the other tried to knock the drinks out. Neither were overly friendly, and they seemed they would rather be left alone. Coffee was okay but Tim Hortons has better coffee, and their staff greets you.Parking: Limited parking on a busy dayWheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessible

A cosy little coffee shop in the middle of the village. Great atmosphere inside with an Italian American theme. The service is rather fast but not necessarily friendly unless you are a "regular". For a small coffee shop serving mostly espresso coffee products, there is very little coffee aroma in the air. Like others commented before, the coffee is weak, so order an extra shot if you are not a "regular" and already used to weak coffee.

I’ve been here a handful of times. And every time I leave wondering why I came back. The service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff literally never acknowledges me or makes any recommendations. They just aren’t what I’d expect from the premier coffee shop in Yellow Springs. It seems if you are part of the “in crowd” you get a warm welcome. Weird vibe.The coffee is also pretty watered down.

Ordered a Chai Charger and it was literally the worst drink I've ever had. It had zero flavor and I ended up throwing it away. Worker was more interested in talking to her friend who was sitting behind the counter with her than the customers. And behind the counter was dirty and she wasn't cleaning the utensils.

Friendly service! Opted for the Highlander Nitro Cold Brew with cream & it was a perfect caffeine cap to keep me energized for the rest of my afternoon. My friend ordered a frozen caramel coffee and was bummed when it didn't come with whip cream—it's .50 cents extra.

Out visiting area State Parks, and as we headed to Youngs Dairy to see their wonderful cows and taste some great ice cream, we stopped to let the kids see this little niche town. After checking out the Chamber of Commerce site, we decided to grab a drink and hit up Dinos. The drinks were made to order and very good. On a busy day, this can take some time, so be patient. The drink options(recipes) were all very delicious sounding, but nobody needs to live to excess anymore. Overall, this was a great refresh after a day of long walks in the parks! Had it not been for the area Chamber of Commerce, we may have only gawked and not shopped or even stopped, in town.

Coffee was good, but the woman working was one of the least friendly people I've met. I went in thinking I would have a great experience with a small coffee shop in Yellow springs. She did not greet me, no "how are you" or "have a good one", just the absolute bare minimum. Left feeling like I didn't even want the coffee, as the experience was so sub par. They need to work on being more personable. Im not one to leave poor reviews, but this was a very under-whelming experience that needs mentioning.

This is a fantastic little coffee shop! It has an impressive menu, from more basic drinks to some truly inventive mixes. There is also a selection of baked goods and pastires - the blondies are amazing - and that's a nice option. The inside is a great atmosphere with a cool, comfortable place to hang out. It's great to sit at the windows and watch the world go by.
