I don't normally go to this location as fairborn is closer to me, I happen to be out this way so figured I'd get what I need. I will not be returning. There are 2 leopard geckos marked unknown sex, housed together. One of their tails looks like it has been bitten, which is no surprise. Leopard geckos should not be housed together. I brought this to the attention of the old woman working in the back who quickly became defensive and very rude. Your staff should be trained in all the animals you house. I can guarantee no one in that store knows the first thing about reptiles otherwise these geckos would not be sharing an enclosure. Not to mention the husbandry us completely wrong. The humidity in their cage was too high with fake grass & plants. They're a desert species. I would not be surprised if one or both wind up dead in their care. I have a feeling this location probably deals with a lot of this.

I would like to say that Chris has helped me tremendously with food choices for some of my rescue dogs. Guided me in the right direction for my sensitive senior. I couldn't be happier with the manager at the Xenia location, very informative and knowledgeable! Great job Chris keep on doing what you're doing. I will continue to shop here.

If I could leave no stars I would.This is the second day I’ve came to this location prior to the pet wash closing, and I was turned away. Pet wash closes at 8, store closes at 9. It was 730. I was told I couldn’t wash my dog because “it takes them too long to clean the wash stations.” . This is two days in a row. The store is never that busy, and I ALWAYS clean up after my dog, and often the dog prior to us showing up. I will never be coming back to this location.

I went in here to buy some fish food and was pretty impressed! Wasn't aware that they sold pets, but they all looked pretty healthy and were cute as ever. My only small complaint is that the products are a little more expensive, like fish food was a few dollars more than what I would pay at PetSmart, but they also had great deals and lower prices that were better than PetSmart or other pet stores I've been to.I bought 10 feeder minnows, but they unfortunately all died on the 15 mins car ride home, but they were 19 cents and they are feeders, so I can't be too upset there. Otherwise, this is a really great store, and I'll definitely be shopping here again!

I bought a case of Hills science diet canned puppy food from this place and every can I opened was dry and crumbly. My dogs won’t even sniff it. I am very disappointed and out $50. I won’t shop here again. I’ve had bad experiences with the foods I buy from this location. Xenia. Plus I feel like they are over priced. I’ll keep ordering from chewy.

Great place to wash your dog! Private room. They have shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, freshener spray, brushes, towels. Warm water, blow dryer, tie for dog, steps and stainless tub. Really nice employee helped us out. Will definitely be back!!!

This is the first time I came into the place with my fur kid. I was pleasantly surprised or greater by a dad holding the door open for us after his family.Once insidecwe saw them layer and I laughed and told him my dog heard him adjusting a bag of food and looked at him!! We laughed!! I bought my child, Earthbound, sensitive skin and stomach!!! Not sure if we'll buy more it was like $17 or so and we are on a tight budget!!! I just did NOT want to deal with going into a huge store!!! I have mobility issues. My cat had some food still so he didn't get the good stuff.I'm delighted the store has fish!!!!! It's been such a long time since we've been able to buy fish in Xenia!!! The people who worked at the store were pleasant and gave my fur kid a treat that he loved!!! I'm just now thinking maybe my dog thinks everyone is going to give him tasty treats???

Pretty good place for the size with a great selection. Taking off a star because I was told by 4 separate employees across three visits to buy their house brand dog (intuition) when I came if to get dog food. Don’t like stuff being pushed on me like that and I don’t like buying stuff without reviews, and I couldn’t find any for that brand.

Thus place is particularly amazing if you're looking for a self serve dog wash. They have 3 stations of 3 different sizes for any size dog and they seem pretty much brand new. Always clean when I go in, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Theres a reward program of course, I can't remember what exactly the numbers are, but if you buy so many washes you get one free. Oh, they provide all kinds of shampoo, conditioner, and even brushes for you to use as well

Have tried this pet store several times with no luck each visit. I first went in to purchase mice for my snake. The woman helping me didn't know what sizes were when I asked for hoppers. When I did find a size, they just put them in a paper bag which defrosted into the bag and they were expensive and had a bad smell. So next time I went for dog food and they didn't carry many brands so I was stuck using chewy. Then I went needing help litter training a cat and the woman told me to spray it with a water bottle when it went to the restroom. This last time I bought 2 bettas and the next day one was dead. I went back to the store and all the bettas were gone and was told they couldn't help me since they didn't have any bettas to swap out with. I found it odd that the bettas were all gone when 2 days ago they had 20. So I believe they had sick fish. They couldn't answer any questions I had and the staff constantly seems to not know anything about animals. Petco in dayton is much better with knowledgeable staff and is where I will shop from now on.

Nice place it had a wash station for dogs maybe for cats too idk. Has LARGE live rats for your snakes. Cool staff really helpful one had a parrot or something similar on her shoulder it was cool she just didn't interact which is why I will hold on to one star. If children see something like that and the staff doesn't even say hello check out my bird... something lol it's lame to me. Not a big issue though or her duty to entertain a little girl but it would had earned a stellar review IMO.

I am so thankful for the dog wash they offer! I highly recommend it! No matter the size of furbaby you have, they have a station for your comfort as well as the baby's. The staff was amazing! Kudos Feeders!!

I really like this store great selections. I went their to get some fish but nothing other than Beta's. Ok not stores fault. My problem with this store was I bought a couple of Beta's and the cashier left them in their plastic tubs that has a hole in the top for the air tubes going in the tubs. My wife was their at the register when they got bagged but she was talking to another associate so she didn't notice and grabbed the bag and left. I didn't notice because I was browsing through the store and the associate took them up front. We live about 45 minutes from Xenia so we got lucky and each fish had a tad bit of water left in tub, not much. So if you by Beta's here, they have a nice selection but be careful and make sure they get taken out of tub and bagged as most fish are

Went to get a small fish tank and a couple of fish for my son. Nobody there knew anything at all. -Do we need an air pump? "I'm not sure" -Will a filter negate the need for a pump in a small tank? "I don't know" -What kind of food are you feeding them? "I'm not certain"-Will these fish be ok together? "🤷‍♀️" -What do crabs eat? "Not really sure"EDIT*** today I went back with a dead fish and the ladies there this time answered ALL my questions.

Like the self service dog washing station idea. May have to use that at some time. Lots of interesting products and toys for your pets. Not an inexpensive place but they do have deals to be found.

I love having a place near by that I can buy healthy food for my cats and they even price match. They have my favorite litter there at good prices.
