Stopped in the grab my hermit crabs some new equipment. Their selection of shells is pitiful. They're all small, and this was the 3rd time I've stopped to look for new shells.Bought new sand, sponge, a mini pool, and a new tank and was all around $50.Always a clean store, everything is organized, and the employees are always helpful. Only complaint is the shells. 🐚

Friendly employees; however, I was told to come back on Thursday to check for cherry shrimp as they were expecting some in "as they are stocked weekly." When I came back in at the day and time I was told to, another employee said they hadn't carried them in the several months he had worked there, and that there were no plans on getting anymore anytime soon.

Was quoted 50fir trim analysis exam, nail clipping. Had to pay 65.tgen I had to pay for clipper usage and hair removel.never again will I go there again. Way too much for a 9 lb puppy. Very disappointed in this place.

I used to go to the Petco in Wooster Ohio all the time to get treats for my dog off the doggy bar. Now instead of letting you put your own treatbag together by selecting a variety they prepackage it instead of letting you select the treats you want and the amount. I asked them why they did that and they claimed they had bugs but that was months ago. Now I drive further to another Petco that is more accommodating. They need to clean their bins and put the treats out like it used to be so people can pick their treats for their dogs and the amount that they need. It's so disappointing when I live so close but must drive further to get to a different Petco.

Everyone was very friendly and cameout to great us. Just stopped in to potty break myself and puppy on the way home from Columbus dog show with my Saluki. She picked a few toys out and we were on our way. Store was clean, bathroom was clean. Cages were clean animals looked healthy.

Don't buy betta fish here, my gf bought one a lil over a month ago, and loved him he was spunky, then all a sudden one day he lost his appetite, by the third day he was bloated gasping and struggling, he passed away in front of us, he had dropsy. All pet stores that sell fish!! if you wanna sell betta they should be in filtered aquariums, fresh and cleaned! Regularly. Dropsy is a parasite do to bad water parameters. Stagnant! water!. PutSome Dividers into a large/medium/small tanks. etc, to keep'em separate. Shouldn't sell fish you can't take care of them properly!

The way they treat their animals is gruesome,they have dead fish floating around in the tanks and the chinchillas and small hamsters and mice cages smell horrific and not to mention the amount of flys. Their way of treating the animals is disgusting, the reptiles don’t even come out to eat.I do NOT recommend this petco. please save theses animals!!!!!

My sister and I like to come here for snails, fish, and plants all the time. Have really cute fish and plants. But today we came in, and the customer service was pretty bad, you could tell they didn’t want to help and were rude about it. One lady saw us standing there looking for awhile and they usually come and ask if we need help, but it felt like they were trying to avoid helping us.

They losing all the good help and hiring people that can't handle dogs. If you have a large dog this is not the place to take them. My dog has been going there for months and I will no longer take him there. My dog has never growled or bite anyone, the lady that groomed him before there never had any problems with him. Now the new girl claims that he was growling at her and he bite the tip of her finger! I was standing there when he supposedly bite her finger and he did no such thing.If this was the case which I highly doubt then maybe try a different groomer, but no they would rather instead tell you that they can't ordon't want to do them. I am sorry if my labradoodle infact was growling at someone then it is for a reason, i didn't like the vibe from the girl when I first walked in the door and saw herbut I was giving her a chance.The customer service there is something that is left to be desired and obviously hiring people that cannot handle all types of dogs.

I went in to buy a cat tower, they wanted to charge me an extra $15 for the tower because it was assembled (I did not request it). It was the last one they had and was the display tower. Why on earth am I being charged the extra money for something I didn’t ask to be assembled? I will absolutely never return. Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced.

I purchased a creature habitat kit from this store. After taking it home and opening every package it contained, I found a crack in the glass behind a sticker. Even after I opened the whole package, Krissi kept a new creature habitat in instock until I could return the next day. Excellent service from a larger chain. Thanks Krissi

Cleanliness and brightness of the store above average. Good selection of products. There isn't always someone to help on the floor however the customer service at check out is above expectations. This is my go-to store for my pet supplies. i've shopped at Chewy in the past for pet food but am now buying it at Petco. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love love LOVE this store! I go here for everything pet related (except vet care - for personal reasons, not because there’s anything wrong). I take my pup for grooming, training, and to buy anything that she needs (food, bedding, training supplies, etc.). I have had great experiences every single time! My pup sure misses an old employee who used to make her day! I would absolutely love to see a Petco in Ashland, Oh! I make the drive to Wooster, but it would be a lot more convenient. 10/10 recommend! :)

I normally shop at the larger stores like Walmart but I stopped here hoping it was going to be a little faster in and out. I was able to find one of my items but realized quickly that they don't carry every day brands. They seem to carry more of higher end brands and specialty items. They do however have a large selection of cat and dog toys, that is great. I'm just not sure if I will go back, unless I need something specific.

I found the refillable kitty litter bin, and I LOVE it!!! I don't know, maybe all pet stores have that feature, but yours is the first one I found. You have a return customer because of that. The staff is wonderful, too, and I noticed you have basic vet services, which is GRAND! Thank you.

Took our dachshund in to get his nails trimmed. The woman working there needs to find another profession. She has no idea how to handle animals. She twisted our little dogs leg and when he yipped she said he tried to bite her. l was watching the procedure. All he did was cry out and turn his head towards her. She refused to go any further, but if she hadn't I would have. Took him to PetSmart nearby and got the job done with no issues. The young lady there handled him so gently.

Allyson was helpful after we went to find her. The store was very dirty. The floors haven't been sweep for a long time. I wanted fish for my current tank and was shopping for a saltwater tank. Lots of tanks but almost 0 saltwater fish. The tropical fish were mostly goldfish. Asked when they would get a delivery and was told it was yesterday
