I went to the store with my elderly grandmother to help her purchase a lawn mower. Everything went swell up until checkout. When we were going to check out we were approached by the employee guarding the check out who was trying to get my grandmother to sign up for a credit card, preaching that she would get 20% off her order (would not stop saying this until she manipulated my grandmother who doesn't completely understand and just heard the 20% off). So finally she shoved the sign up device into her face and got her to fill out the document to sign up for a credit card. Come to find out they already did this trick on her before and she had a card. Then the lady led us on to believe we'd still get the discount. Spent 15 minutes doing all the verification (which my grandmother did not understand) to find that she wasn't eligible for the discount already having a card. Oh and before she could get checked out the lady manipulated her into getting a warranty as well. I tried to intervene but the persistence of the employees convinced her otherwise

Bought a fridge, said it was in stock at the store. Went to pick it up, it was apparently marked for someone else as sold already. So they offered delivery for 2 days later. Had it scheduled, nobody ever arrived and it was then marked as delivered. I called them, then they said they tried calling me 6 times. I never received a single call. Not even one the night before to schedule the following day. Extremely disappointed in this whole process. All help on the phone was rude and unhelpful. I wouldn’t rely on their delivery team at all, the third party people are garbage. I have a home security system, no alerts or recordings of anyone showing up.

Today went and picked up some stuff waited for over 30 minutes to get help to load even though the cashier had called several times I had to call the store and a sweet young lady by the name of Jessica came and loaded for Me from Customer Service and then proceeded to load for another elderly man who had been waiting longer than I. Forewarning just to speak to a Human when you call you have SEVERAL prompts to go through. Thank you again Jessica for going above and beyond.

I guess I just prefer Lowes over other big brand name hardware stores for different reasons. Even though I do normally get better service from Lowes over any others.

Terrible experience, staff very unprofessional. Rosie asked if I wanted a credit card, as she always does. I say no thank you, she continues on starts asking me for my info I eventually give in so I can just get out and go home, she proceeds to put my info in wrong. So I had to wait for almost an hour for her to fix her mess ups. Overall worst Lowe’s in the state. Won’t be back

Do not hire Lowe’s for kitchen updates or remodeling.Had Lowe’s install a dishwasher and counter top. Countertop cracked because it was installed over a dishwasher and there is nothing Lowe’s can do to help per Shane Wooster store manager.,have been through all customer service channels with Lowe’s and I am left with a cracked countertop and no recourse what so ever

The wooster location was Incredibly unprofessional during my interview for a position in the store. The hiring manager was not only late for my interview, but misrepresented the hours and availability that was needed for there store, no mention of needing to work nights was mentioned before hand, on top of all of this, the interviewer admitted to not having looked over any of my records beforehand even though it had been over a week since I sent them in. If you are looking for a job, I would highly suggest looking somewhere else as, the Wooster Lowes seems to not only have problems with punctuality, but also customer service and professionalism.

I do enjoy going to Lowes sometimes just to looking around just to get inspiration on my next project. Today was one of those days thinking about getting creative on a landscaping project deciding what I will need. Lowes does have pretty much what I will need. Lowes does have competitive prices and some are lower than the competition. The people that work at Lowes are friendly and very helpful.

(2nd Update 2/28/24) - Yet another TERRIBLE experience with this store!!! Went to purchase a kitchen faucet because I have a leak in mine. 1) they have a pretty limited selection of finishes actually in the store to purchase. But you can order something that you can pick up in 5 or 6 days. NOT a good experience ! Not real helpful when you need to replacement TODAY. 2) The faucet I selected has some green security tag on it that started screeching as soon as I picked it up. I set it down and picked up another one...which started screeching. After wandering around looking for an associate to ask the to shut it off I was instructed to walk to the front of the store and have someone at the register help me. Then I needed to walk back to complete my shopping. NOT a good experience! Why do I want to shop where alarms are set off before I even put merchandise in my cart??? 3) Lowes version of the $199 Delta faucet leaks and the "retractable" hose doesn't retract. NOT a good experience. The only reason I keep coming back here is because I didn't have the flexibility to drive to Massillon or Wadsworth.(Original post)Pretty much worthless. They always seem to be out of stock of almost anything I'm looking for. You have to go to Massillon or Wadsworth to get anything. Who orders for this store? They do a poor job at in inventory management! We really need that Menards!UPDATE (1/22/24)... Took it from 2 stars to 1. Went in to get some plumbing supplies and surprise, surprise they had no flux for basic plumbing improvements. I was told they haven't had any for over 2 weeks. Again, who manages inventory for this store? They have a bunch of overpriced novelty crap on the shelves but they can't keep BASIC " home improvement" type items on the shelves?!?! Unfortunately, this town is very limited on hardware and home improvement options so one is forced to shop here, but with the expectation that they will most likely need to go to a different store to complete their shopping because some ubiquitous home improvement items will not be in stock.

Generally helpful employees and the store is neat, they try to keep the shelves stocked. My only recent issue was a display of a product that -the pricing was misleading. Under the sticker you can see a price of $34.98, a sticker of $49 was placed over that but…it has a value of $53 with a price WAS: $47.Do we see where this doesn’t add up. I mentioned this to 2 staff members upon check out, I paid full price and they basically apologize for the miss labeling….went back a week later and it’s still there. As a patron I know prices are going up but make the effort to not wave that in our face.

Needed laminate shelves for a project, couldn't find them. An employee was walking by and we asked him. He acted like he wasn't going to stop. Then he said aisle 35, we went down and found shelving. We found the spot they should have been, so we gave up and went to Menards in Navarre and got what we needed.We went to Lowes to pick up a couple of things. It's all self checkout now. No wonder we spend more money at Menards. They have cashiers/

We shop Lowes three or four times per month. They usually have what we need, sometimes what we didn't know we needed. They offer a veteran's discount which has saved us tons of money. The store is well stocked, well staffed and prices are competitive.

Did some weekend shopping and upgraded our slider door from vertical blinds to modern curtains. Alittle pricey but love them and super simply to put up so that's a win! Enjoyed the new self check out!

Was a walk in the park until I got to the registers... only ones open were the self checkouts, not a single traditional register with an employee open and running!. So now I get to stand and wait behind a bunch of people that are clueless in clearing their own purchases. So the "nice" lady overseeing the self checkout offered to help me... not much help their considering she couldn't figure out how to operate her own scan tool. And all the while she was trying to get her scan tool to work customers kept passing me by checking themselves out aw well as the employee kept stopping her process of "helping" me and helping the other customers with their checkout issues... all I all costing me an additional 15 min at checkout...Hire employees, train them! Test them and make sure they know what their doing. Then... put a few on registers!

Received a call that the counter I ordered is ready to pick up... customer service can't find the order, got sent to the counter department and that person seems MIA... even tried calling them from inside the store. They tried announcing it over loud speaker... I'm still here waiting

I would like to thank lows for hiring the mentally disabled,or at least I think they were. I ordered a grill and had it set up for pickup today.Gave them three days to assemble, could not complete the task. Can't wait for Menards to come to Wooster and put Lowe's out of business, that place is a waste! Only gave them one star because it won't let me give them zero Stars

The staff was very helpful even under pressure. Long lines of people yet the staff was helpful and friendly. I had a very good experience at this visit. Just visited again and service was great as usual. The clerk found the product I needed and was very friendly along with the check out clerk. Very good experience as it should be.Just purchased and picked up 60 walk stones, the guy in the Garden Center was great and very helpful, so was the girl in the Pickup window . Thumbs up to the staff!

Me and my son was there today to drop like $800 we couldn't get any help to cut some carpet for us I ask 3 people 3 different times for help after 30 mins of waiting for someone to show up we left for home depot never showing at Lowes again dont wast you time going there.
