We visited for the New Years Eve party. This was our first stay. The pool and hot tub were out of service which was disappointing. I understand things do happen, and we were compensated with a discount for that.Pros - the staff, the decorations, the food and the surroundings were all wonderful. They did a pretty good job with the New Year’s party and when there were any issues; like seats for the conference room for example, the staff reacted and brought in more chairs. They had surprise fireworks too. Well done!Cons - the pool and hot tub being out of service. And the beds were so uncomfortable! We had a room with two queen size beds and we tried both beds. The second one squeaked worst than the first! The mattresses were so uncomfortable and the pillows were hard. The rooms definitely need updated or at least the one we were in did. I think we finally fell asleep about 4:30 or so. I don’t know if all of the beds are that bad?We probably won’t be back. I didn’t get a chance to share the problem with the staff either. So here is my review.

We had a nice get-a-way. We came out for the weekend. It was quiet and relaxing!The staff that we encountered in our stay were friendly, helpful and extremely pleasant!Rooms: The room was huge! Clean, well laid out with all the amenities. We had a king sized bed, that also had a pull out sofa. The bathroom, was roomy, it had an ironing board and room for it!* If you need anything like extra towels, extra shampoo, the front desk was very accommodating.Safety: It was set back off the road - easy to find (thanks to GPS). As I said it was quiet, there was never a moment in our visit that our safety was a concern.Walkability: The property itself was walkable, they have a pool/jacuzzi, a lil library, a quiet area and a treadmill on the lower level of the Inn.Adjacent from the Inn is another building where they have a reception hall, restaurant/buffet that sells knick knacks on souvenirs, and a bakery.Food & drinks: As I mentioned above, they have a restaurant/ buffet. Inside the Inn there are multiple vending machines.I also want to mention that they have an ample supply of visitor information.

Can't thank the manager enough!! I didn't even realize he was the manager until after the fact, but Mark went above and beyond! My husband was sick all night long and he helped me get an ambulance, load my car and make sure my 18 month old and I got on the way safely to the hospital. Without his help I would not have known what to do, as we were 3 hours from home and any familiar help! Thanks for everything Mark! And thank you to the receptionist who brought me meds for my husband in the middle of the night when I couldn't leave the baby or my husband!

Everything was great till we got to the pool and hot tub, very much in need of new life. We were told hot tub worked and it did not.It was a pretty and well maintained property. Very relaxing, restaurant not amazing but ok.If you want a peaceful place to relax and slow down this is a nice place, coffee shop is good, nice deli and market.

Beautiful surroundings and excellent breakfast with upstairs patio and gaslit firepits. The pool is need of very minor cosmetic repair and updates to the pool and hot tub. The hallways to the rooms were very inviting with couches in the center of the hallway. The beds were bolted to floor and way too close to HVAC unit in the two bed Queen suite so it was hard to get out the bed without banging your leg. The TV was also hard to see from other bed with the armoire in the way and did not enough provide enough closet space for 3 people. The beds were very firm as well as the pillows. You might want to bring your own pillows. However, there is an excellent restaurant with fantastic buffet, gazebo, ballroom and bakery on premise for events around beautiful surroundings. Plenty of parking. Overall, we would recommend to stay here.

We were very happy that we chose this hotel. LOCATION, AMENITIES & STAFF couldn't have been NICER! We brought our own games & took advantage of the beautiful 2nd floor both nights! Complimentary Amish sugar cookies & popcorn too! The setting of this hotel is gorgeous! This was 1 of the easiest bookings, check-ins I've experienced, communication via text & email was hassle free & very responsive to our needs/questions prior to arrival 😀Rooms: Rooms are spacious as their were 4 adults in a 2 queen bed room, fridge worked great, AC was good, having extra sink & mirror outside of bathroom was a plus for getting ready, only downside was the mattresses>>>time for UG as 1 side sorta caved & super squeaky as if springs were broken making it uncomfortable & noisy anytime someone moved/got up. However it wasn't the worst night sleep & perhaps not all rooms have the same mattress issues?, no matter, we were very happy that we chose this hotel. Reason 4 out 5☆ mattressesNearby activities: Everywhere you want to visit in the Amish communities is within a 20min drive & you have a full Amish experience right here on the property with the restaurant, bakery & store including all local wines for sale right there!!Safety: We felt very safe & the staff was extremely friendly!Walkability: Great grounds to walk aroundFood & drinks: The breakfast included with your stay was everything you would expect for a full breakfast 😋Noteworthy details: Outdoor 2nd floor was so relaxing & quiet with pure fresh country scenery, firepits & beautiful Amish furniture was so comfortable to enjoy the night sky!

Stayed here for a nearby wedding. Building is clean and well kept, the decor is country-themed of course, a little dated. The room we stayed in was nice and quiet, but oddly designed - no room phone, only one night stand, no closet except for a section of the TV armoire. The room phone thing has never been an issue, except most members of the group had no cell service.

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean with exception of the very stained carpet. The indoor pool was cold and in desperate need of fresh paint. The hot tub was okay but also needs updating. The refrigerator in the room was so loud I actually unplugged it in the middle of the night to get to sleep. Last thing was that the shower drain was very slow. One other plus was the complimentary breakfast was better than most places we've stayed.

We were here for a wedding and everything was amazing. The wedding was at a venue offsite and the shuttle drivers were wonderful, I called an hour early to see if they could make a trip earlier than planned to pickup some of the elderly family and they were there in 10 minutes. Piper at the front desk was so gracious as was Mark. My family and I look forward to returning again. The best continental breakfast options I have ever had in all my travels domestically or internationally.

Hot tub was nice the pool was nice our room was absolutely incredible the honey moon suite !we will always stay here . A nice breakfast. , hot coffee and water , such beautiful surroundings and beautiful place. I would absolutely recommend this place

We had the most amazing stay at the Amish Door Inn. The hotel is incredibly charming with personal touches everywhere, we could have spent all day admiring the decor. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and very cozy. The staff was incredible and treated us like family, the nice girl at the check in counter even made popcorn at the request of my nine year old. The views and sceneries are incredible with only a short drive into town. And, no other hotels "continental breakfast" will even come close to comparison with the breakfast here. All in all, it was one of the best hotel stays my and I have ever had. ❤️

Went here for a wedding, the grounds were beautiful. I did like the fact they accommodated the wedding guests in the hotel and had the reception in their hall. If I were to make any recommendations it would be better communication to guests regarding where social rooms are and being more flexible with check in times. Most guests travel to a wedding and it makes it challenging to get ready for a wedding at the same time it starts. Food was incredible and the bakery in the morning was the perfect way to start the day.

This inn is SO beautiful. Would recommend to anyone looking for lodging in Amish country, and I would definitely stay here again. There are so many neat seating areas tucked all around. We loved the veranda/balcony and all the games they provide. It was the first stop on our rolling vacation, and sitting there that evening, it truly felt like vacation- so relaxing.

Very nice view. Needs updates. Our tub was clogged. Room walls and floor had patches all over. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff very nice but only one person at desk at a time. Had to wait for a long time. Hot tub and pool nice but once again paint chipped and needed some tlc.

The rooms were very clean, the lobby and the 2nd floor lobby/ breakfast area was well furnished and well taken care of. Kudos to Melissa at the front desk for going above and beyond for helping us out during our time of need! Thank you also to the owner Johnathan for assisting... Breakfast looked wonderful and had lots of options. The property has almost everything.. lodging, restaurant, coffee/ lunch Cafe, a market, even music on Friday nights! Would of rated 5 stars, but, The only issue was the noise/ talking/ playing the piano that other guests were making outside the room whilst trying to sleep (10pm and later).We will be back at some point! Thank you!

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and good service. The pool was super clear although we thought the hot tub may have had too much chlorine. The rooms are nice and there's a mini fridge to store food.
