Ace hardware offers orders online but if you want it credit back to your credit card. They don't know how to do it. Very disappointed in their online service. Plus the item I was getting looked real bad.

For a little store Ace has just about everything you need, I didn't feel like walking 10 miles in Lowe's to get what I needed. The only thing I don't like about Ace is they're too helpful they always want to ask what you need and show you where it is, I know where what I need is and sometimes I just like to go to the hardware store and find something I want, I know they're being helpful but I got so used to Lowe's where you can't find an employee and when you do they will lie to you and tell you it's in this isle and disappear, Home Depot is just as bad but I know where stuff is or i look it up online and get it myself.

I called for liquid chlorine & they said they had in stock. I drove 25 minutes to find out they had none. They offered to sale me muratic acid /ph down which is a TOTALLY different product. Definitely don't mix them together. Bad experience this time around

Ace is a little more expensive than Lowe's but it's worth it for the family type atmosphere. When given the option I always try to choose a smaller business.

Very rude and snarky public service. Short redhead women in a black shirt was incredibly dismissive and dramatic. Unnecessary comments and rude behavior. Very friendly redhead at the front counter though it does not excuse rude behavior from other employees.

This hardware store is conveniently located adjacent to Kroger's, and has quite a complete selection of general tools, cleaning supplies, gardening equipment, general automotive maintenance and several gift ideas. It's worth a stop to come in, see someone you know working here, and browse.

I was looking for a few small parts to assemble a custom tool for work and they lived up to their slogan "the helpful hardware folks". I got the parts I needed for the tool. Furthermore the staff has always been helpful and friendly everytime I visit for every day items.

The employees at this location are friendly and knowledgeable. Terry knows a lot and the nice blonde woman at the registers is great to talk to as you check out. She made me laugh and smile. Highly recommend!

Great staff. I primarily go for BBQ supplies as they carry the charcoal brand I use. I've been to other Ace store and they do not hold a candle to Wilmington's. Jim runs the place well, its clean and tidy. I appreciate it.

Ace saved me $100. Dealership to make a transponder key, wanted $250 and they would not guarantee it would work. Wilmington Ace Hardware $150 and checked the key to make sure it worked before I was charged. Total time at Ace 20 minutes. I just love my Ace Hardware. And kudos to the young man who did the key. Very professional and knowledgeable with the key computer.

I gave them five stars not because they have a great selection in their store or because the prices are cheap, but because when I walked in wearing my uniform just trying to buy some salt for my wife before I started my shift, they treated me kind and respectful and even went out of their way to help me find what I needed so that I can get out of there in a timely fashion. I give major points to any place that is kind and respectful to law enforcement and others in uniform. Way to go Ace, five stars in my book.

I needed a key copied, and my toddler just fell asleep in the car. I called the store and the employee actually came out to my car and copied my key for me so I wouldn't have to wake my baby up. Talk about customer care!! You will always have my business for this!

I went in today to get lightbulbs. CJ didn't let me walk 10 feet into the store before asking how he could help me. CJ not only showed me the isle where the lightbulbs are located. But, he stayed with me and guided me through my search among the numerous types of lightbulbs offered by our local store. I could not ask for better service from this young man. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Even after my search ended for the perfect bulb, CJ even asked if there was anything else he could help me with and also mentioned the store had some really great deals as part of a sale they were having. If you go into Ace Hardware, ask for CJ. He is aces!!!
