I generally find what I need because I look on the website before going to the store. My daughter and I (a female) were in the hardware aisle looking for round top Philips head #10 1.5 inch partially threaded screws. I was unclear of the exact location so when an employee approached to help me I took him up on his assistance. This guy had no idea what different types of screws are used for or where cabinetry screws were located. He tried to give me fully threaded flat top star head screws. I wandered off to find my other materials and then returned to the aisle to find the screws I needed. The employee was still in the aisle and tried to offer his "assistance" again. I politely declined and found the screws myself. (Side note they don't carry round top Philips #10 1.5in partially threaded but they carry round top flat heads) I swear every time I go into Lowe's for tools or hardware the male employees act like I can't possibly know what I need. If I'm there for garden or pool supplies I'm not treated that way.

Waist of good time. Wanting to purchase. JBL speaker for music and literally waited for an hour while customer care hadn't any idea where the speakers were located, and instead of communicating the more problematic it became. Waist of time , just to be told they aren't in stalk ..

Really going down hill fast. Definitely not what it used to be. Very unfortunate. Don't have several commonly used items anymore and most of the help is no help at all.

I never have a good experience at this location but its the closest to me. I decided to run in today to get some paint for a project im doing. I get to the paint counter & noone is working so I hit the call button for help. It tells me its calling someone & will be with me shortly. Then a couple minutes later it says noone is available. I hit it again, same thing happens. So I walk up front & ask a worker who is standing watching people check out if I can get some help he says he will have someone paged. I again wait & noone comes. I decided to leave & go to Walmart. I passed multiple employees just standing around.

This place has the dumbest most incompetent employees I've ever come across!! All I needed was a dryer and here we are an hour later getting money refunded because not only did these morons ring my husband up for the wrong dryer but the damn thing wasn't in stock to begin with! This is also after about 40 minutes of," umms and we'll.." Get it together,Lowe's because I'm done!

An associate I can't remember his name helped us find what we were looking for ( chain) and even cut it for us. Checkout was fast , easy and the cashier was super nice and friendly ☺️

Went into the Wilmington Ohio location today. Had good customer service from 2 ladies. Unfortunately didn't get their name's. However when I called to complain on the male interaction. I did let the assistant manager I spoke with know about the 2 females. The male his name was Mattie. He was busy assisting another customer. So I just stood off to the side. He then looked and me shrugged his shoulders and said what? To which I said well I have been in customer service for over 30 years. I was patiently waiting my turn. So I did let him know what I was looking for . To which he replied if there is any project boards. They would be down over there. I never found them so I left. I will make a trip to Xenia to look for them.Won't be back

Good job guys. I'm updating my review from 4 years ago to 5 stars. The place has improved a lot. Lately I have been going there a lot with all the projects I'm doing. People seem a lot happier. My review from 4 tears ago was probably during Covid so that could explain it.

Recently had the best customer service from this location. Ryan in flooring Helped me on 9/16/23. Ryan went out of his way to help me locate materials. Ryan had a great deal of knowledge on the product and was able to answer all of my questions. My visit was very fast and direct.

Special ordered a window and it took over 2 months to be put in. Then it wasn't installed properly and they had to come back out to fix. The door was installed improper out of square, cut the header out and raised it up an inch so you tripped as you went out the door and had to be redone. Door was the same size as the old one. Now we are waiting for a new door because the door is still not right. Big cracks on top of door and all around the door. molding not put back or finished. How long does a person have to wait to have a door installed. Will never spend my money at Lowe's again. Manager dragging his feet to get new approval for new door. Lowe's should not be in the installation business or they need to get better contractors then who they have working for them. Most of the staff are very friendly and nice to work with.

EDIT/Update 2/24: they no longer have the recycling kiosk for bags or batteries or bulbs. Not sure if you can do it at the service desk. Employees are always helpful in finding itemGreat place to recycle rechargeable batteries and plastic bags. Very nice employees. We've gone here for over a decade for plumbing, electrical, appliances, lawn and garden, concrete, etc.

Let me say that I much prefer posting rave reviews on great customer service, but I’m afraid I can’t do that for this location. I haven’t shopped Lowe’s often and so am unfamiliar with the layout of the store. I needed a roll of Reflectix insulation and so asked one of the employees to help me find it. There were two employees actually and they were chatting in the aisle. I asked one guy who mumbled something and immediately deferred to the other guy. The second guy said if it’s insulation it might be in the next aisle somewhere. Now, I’m used to Home Depot where every employee has a device that they can lookup the exact location and bin number and often will walk with me to find the item. I expected similar customer service here. My second lackluster customer service experience was several minutes later when I needed to buy paint. Nobody was in the paint department and so I asked another employee if he could page someone to paint. 10 minutes later, I gave up. C’mon guys! You are letting money go out the door and worse yet, I’m not excited to find another Lowe’s.

I called to make sure that they had a certain size nut (6.0x.75). I live 30 minutes away so I wanted to make sure they had it . I was told that they have plenty in stock . Got there and asked for help in aisle 13 hardware. Waited 15 min and went to ask for help again waited 15 minutes again asked for a third time and Someone. Came and cold not find it . Said that they would find a store manager to help. Again waited 15 min no one. Came. I wasted one hour and 45 minutes that I will never get back .! This stores staff needs training sessions

we’ve utilized this lowe’s A LOT while converting our van. unfortunately they often do not have what we’re looking for, their employees are not very helpful, and they play thee worst music possible (if a manager reads this, PLEASE PLAY BETTER MUSIC OR NONE AT ALL). it’s never a very pleasant shopping experience.

Horrible experience this time! No one, & I mean NO ONE would help me find what I was looking for (dryer belt) & on top of that I'm wearing a boot on my foot so it's hard & very painful for me to do alot of walking. I had absolutely 💯 no idea where to find the dryer belt & when I asked the older gentleman that was back in appliances where to find the dryer belt at he just told me what isle & then walked away! Very rude while talking to me also! I won't be coming back to this lowes again!

Do Not buy anything that you need delivered from Lowe’s. I took my 91 year old grandmother to buy a refrigerator. She picks one out and we set up for delivery the next day.2 people show up who are not employed by Lowe’s. They hire subs to deliver and set up.They tell my grandmother that they cannot take away the old fridge because she has an ice maker in the fridge. We were not told this when we bought the refrigerator. So they leave the refrigerator and tell my grandmother when she gets the ice maker disconnected to the old fridge they would come back out and pick it up.She had a plumber come out and disconnect the ice maker and then called Lowe’s.Lowes tells her they would be out the next day to take away the old fridge.Lowes has canceled everyday to pick up the fridge.We are 7 days in and she still has the old fridge and the new fridge in her kitchen .We will be contacting corporate to see if we can get Lowe’s to uphold what was paid for.It has been a nightmare. Lowes has lied to us every step of the way.

And the check out people were so nice. We prefer to have people check us out. It's customer friendly and good for us old folks.

I bought a refrigerator nov 8th, it was delivered the next day damaged straight out of the box. They had to take it back. I got charged a fee for removal of my old one that they did not do. For the past 2 months it’s been a mess and totally ridiculous. I can not get a refund to my account. I have talked to the manager, customer reps at the distribution center and executive customer relations and just keep getting told the same thing. That it was refunded. January 2 and still no refund. Pay cash if you can.

Walked in, had no clue where to go, asked for help and just got told which isle. No customers in store yet every employee is talking to each other while I waited to be helped they just looked at me and kept talking. I just walked out.

I won't even start about the LACK of employees inside!!However, TWICE we have been there getting large lumber. No one helps. They walk by and don't wave, say hi, nod and definitely do not ask if you need help!Exiting is very pleasant though. She is thorough, quick and personable.

Went in to buy an item, was told it was out of stock and it’s not available online. They had a display and said they couldn’t sell it. I wasn’t asking for a discount I wanted to buy an item they had in the store but was told not. Take the price tag off then and that’s a 400$ sale lost.

I came in to buy a craftsman tool chest and stood in the tool department for 20 minutes and nobody ever came to help even after being paged twice. While waiting the single cashier they had working was too busy fiddling her thumbs to help people trying to check out. They each had to ask her to come check them out. I will take my business elsewhere.

My experience was super ans there was so much assistance through out the store. Insist get all the names of the Associates but ide like to thank Savanah for helping me out in the end she found me what I was looking for I left a very happy customer.
