We had our first visit today with our 2 dogs. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. No other vet has been able to trim our one high anxiety dog, yet Dr Bill was able to! He was patient and comforting to both dogs. I will not go anywhere else! It’s obvious that their main priority is animal care! I loved Pat at the front desk also! Great team and great work!

Very unprofessional towards a friend because she works for a "certain place" the vets have an unnecessary attitude towards. Friend was already in distress because the dog she brought in was basically dying and needed help... they manhandled the dog and had them sit at least 20-30 minutes to wait for the owners to come. Just to tell them they "couldn't treat her here" ... Then why wouldn't you say so sooner???? Was it because you had certain biased feelings against the girl that brought in the poor sick dog? You should focus more on your patient than your feelings towards the people trying to get them help. Shame

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was originally referred to this vet by my family. Absolutely terrible service, extremely unprofessional, and have received very condescending treatment from the staff at this establishment.In the middle of having a true emergency with my dog, they could not find my name - phone number - account number - anything. In addition to that, they acted as if their incompetence was my fault. I have confirmed with paperwork from MULTIPLE VISITS here with my other dog, that I've indeed been a client at their location for well over a year now. I was not impressed any of the times I visited, but due to needing immediate care for my dog - they were my first call today.In addition to not being able to find ANY information on me or my family (who had been going here longer than I have), they decided to ask very rudely - why I didn't take my dog in sooner if I knew something was wrong... again, implying I'm at fault - when I repeatedly told them the emergency took place THIS MORNING and I called immediately.After having *Pat*, I believe her name was, shout over me and not let me get a word in edgewise, I simply hung up the phone and will never attempt to return to this place.If you care about your animals, please take them to someone who cares about them too, because this place sure doesn't. They can't even keep their records straight.

We had a great experience taking our dog here. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Lutz was so good with our sick doggy. He even got down on the floor with him to check him over. We were very pleased and best of all is our dog is feeling much better now.

They should HIGHLY considering taking Pat off of their team. She is extremely rude and very unprofessional. However if you're able to get past her Dr. Bill has a great bedside manner.

I would give a 0 if I could. This "Pat" lady shouldn't even have a job!! She has been rude to me and my boyfriend everytime we call!! We have an indoor Kitty suffering from fleas and 2 outdoor cats that come in occasionally to get out of the cold. I wanted to get flea treatments for all our cats, but she accused me of using them as a grocery store!! What a rude thing to say!! I cancelled my account and I will take my cats and MONEY elsewhere!! Pat is a big bully that picks on people who she thinks will take it!! Please please please if you care about your pets go elsewhere!!!

i brought my cat here to be spayed and my five year old was very distraught having to leave his “baby” and the staff was very empathetic and told him they would take good care of her and they gave him some stickers and a piece of candy to help cheer him up. we called to check on her after surgery and before pickup and they were happy to give us updates on her. they gave us a little welcome goody bag with some treats and a toy. she’s currently all healed up and happy 😊

Dr. Bill takes great care of our pets. He is very knowledgeable and so calm and patient with our animals. We have taken all of our pets here since 2012. The staff is very helpful and remembers their individual personalities and needs.

Leaving reviews, particularly negative ones is not something I prefer to do. My family is military and we move around frequently. We moved here in 2019. I initially took our senior dog to another veterinarian about 35 minutes from our home, unfamiliar with the area. I later established our senior cat, when it was time for her annual checkup at Whitehouse animal hospital. I was very appreciative of their care and support for our cat and eventually the assistance of making the hard decision to put her down. I told them, we had a dog and was interested in establishing her as a patient and they seemed glad to take her on. Fast Forward to today. It is now time for our dog to have her annual appointment. I was rudely denied them taking her as a patient. Pat said she didn't feel it was right to accept a new patient that has cancer and is at the end of life stage, and that she cant just have her husband putting down animals all of the time. We literally went back and forth on the phone, me wanting them to accept my dog as a patient and her denying me (strange, right)?I was calling for an annual appointment, not to end my pets life. I was calling to receive quality care for our dog, despite her age, and despite that she's had cancer for 7 years and still happily living a good life. I thought a veterinarians office saw pets of all ages and at all stages of life? I also wasn't aware it was wrong to want to change veterinarians for better care or location, just as humans change doctors? This review is obviously for the front desk, and not the actual vet. I wanted our dog to see him because I felt he genuinely offered great care to our cat. I will move forward now and take our dog to someone who wants to care for her in her old age and do it willingly and lovingly.

This has been our animal hospital now for over 16 years. They have compassionately taken care of 3 dogs and 4 cats for us. Dr Bill is caring, conservative ( in a good way) and reasonable. The entire staff makes you feel like family. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Great place. Never had a problem. Until this year. Stopped in today to pick up medicine. Ask the lady(not wearing name tag) about a suggestion to help my inside cats when I give them baths. She was yelling at me about bathing my cats. I left there with no suggestions from her or the other lady that was there .Very Unprofessional!!! Horrible customer service skills! This is the second time this year that I have been spoken to in this manner.

My puppy was spayed here in the end of March. When I picked her up the doctor called my puppy “the problem child” because he cut her spleen when he made the initial incision to spay her. He then proceeded to tell me how he had to repair the spleen and the incision was much bigger than usual . She had a lot of sutures in her stomach. We went back 10 days later to get the sutures out. The doctor made me hold my puppy while he took them out and told me “she’s crying because this is hurting her. It’s not really a big deal”. To me this is a huge deal but it was over with so I didn’t say anything…. Then to find out he actually left 3 staples in her stomach ! I just took her to the new vet where they removed them for us so that our baby wouldn’t have to be traumatized again!!! Needless to say this put a terrible taste in our mouth we will never take our pets back here again!

Really pleased with our visit to Whitehouse Animal Hospital. I have a senior dog experiencing some health concerns related to age. They were kind, compassionate, and realistic. I appreciated the family feel of the clinic. I felt welcomed and that my pet was their priority.

I have been seeing Dr Bill for my Cats and Dogs for years. My dog had a rare allergic reaction that created cysts that needed surgically removed. These cysts mimicked tumors. Dr Bill spent the time and research and nailed the cause. My dog is now on allergy meds and has been fine for over a year. My parents and son also see Dr Bill for all their animals. I would highly recommend.

Best place for my dogs. We even had an emergency with our one dog Angie when he was out of town at a conference and he called us on a Sunday when he got back to check on her and wanted to see her first thing Monday AM. It was years ago and she took a bit to get back to herself, but pulled through her health issue.I want to add we took her to the emergency vet in Maumee since he was out and her care was outstanding there also.

This place truly is a family atmosphere... They are all so good at what they do and are so kind to your feelings and feelings of your animals. There is not another place I would go for the care of my animals than here. 5 star was the highest rating I could give but there a 10 star place. You will not be disappointed with this place and your animals will be in good hands here.

We have been coming to Dr. Bill for years. In April of this year our dog had a painful ulcer on his paw. We were told it was a blister and he would have to walk on it to toughen it up. 7 months and 4 visits later, after being told our dog was faking, he admitted he didn't know what was wrong. It was beyond his expertise he said. We made an appointment with another vet who took a biopsy the next day. Malignant Melanoma. My dog has 6 months to live. Dr Bill's " you're making a big deal out of nothing " attitude HAS GIVEN MY DOG A DEATH SENTENCE!! We trusted him, and he didn't care enough to find out what was wrong.
