We really loved the place. It has a nice atmosphere and the servers were all friendly and fast. I ordered the HUGE pretzel for dinner. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo. He cleaned his plate😉so it must have been good.My pretzel was delicious and obviously very much meant for sharing. It came with 4 dips :Ground mustard =goodCinnamon butter=goodCream cheese= ok? I'd have like to see it flavored like chive or garlic or??? Kinda bland by itself as a dip.Beer cheese=Not good at all. Normally beer cheese is my favorite. This was grainy & flavorless. Probably the worst I've ever had. That is the only reason for 4 stars.

Cool little spot! Great bloody mary! All of our food was amazing! I got wings, mom got the perch and hubby got ribs.. everything tasted super fresh and delicious 😋! Now can we talk about that huge pretzel?!? YUMMM!!! WE ALL 3 ate on it and still had a ton left over, that mustard dip is 100% BOMB! SOO GOOD! 10/10 WOULD GO AGAIN!

Appetizer pulled pork nachos was missing the salsa. They did bring it to us after the fact. The salsa was fresh and tasty. The bowl of chili was ginormous, hot(temperature),and very hearty. Both sandwiches were fresh, hot and tasty. The onions rings were by far better than most places. The batter had a great taste with thick cut fresh onions. Would reccomend in a heart beat.

Great bartenders and their food is home-cooked and a lot of thought and effort into each item. Smoked wings to delicious salads and amazing burgers. Something for everyone. They have trivia nights once in a while and daily specials!

This place is, by far, the best pub food I have ever had! The Spinach & Artichoke Dip/Pita Chips are homemade and taste like none I have ever eaten..hands down the best! The place had a very cozy, down to earth feel to it, a bar area and outside patio seating, with the staff being the friendliest Ive encountered in my travels. I give this cozy pub a 5 star rating for having a fantastic appeal at every level! Thank you so much, Local Thyme staff, for giving my colleague and I an excellent dining experience!

** Update: same 2 couples visited again tonight. 15min wait, hostess took us 4 to our table with 3 sets of silverware. I had to ask 3 times for silverware. AGAIN the sun was shining directly in people’s faces, and a woman put on her sunglasses. We brought cash to avoid the cc fee. Room was stuffy, food was good. Men’s room out of soap, women’s room out of towels. ** Friday evening visit, 2 couples. We were seated right away. Pleasant polite server. Good food, but out of baked potatoes. Blinds need to be added to the thin curtains because the evening sun was directly in my friend’s eyes. Wobbly table was annoying.

Impulse stop after bike riding at Oak Openings, first time here and a pleasant surprise. Probably the best French fries we’ve ever had! The chicken and perch sandwiches very delicious also! Cute atmosphere and prompt waitstaff, overall enjoyable experience!

Well, where do I begin. It was a Friday. We met friends for a Birthday dinner. We've been to Local Thyme many times and we usually love it there. It was very busy this Friday. There were 5 of us. We all ordered our food. My husband ordered the Beef shank dinner. After a good long while our waitress came back to the table to tell us our food was coming but that they are out of the Beef shank. So my husband needed to order something else meanwhile the rest of us get our food. No sorry sir, waitress was like an oh well attitude. Not appreciated. My husband had no food, We all felt bad eating in front of him. My husband was extremely upset at the indifference he was shown. Would have been better if she would have told him immediately.and apologized for the mistake. Not 20 minutes after the fact and we all had our food. This has never happened here before. We'll go back again. Seems like you need to get it together.

This place was so cute and quaint. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I had the perch dinner, my husband had the pork belly chicken chunks and my daughter kids Mac n cheese. Everyone was well pleased. We will definitely be back.

Charging customers a fee for using a credit card is ridiculous and should be considered a business expense for the owners, not the customers. On top of tipping their servers, you’ll get charged a fee too?

I won’t be going back to this place. They want to charge 3% for using a card and I was charged $2 for a second plate that we never ask for! We told the waitress that we were going to share the meal and she offered to bring the plate. When I questioned the charge, I was informed the manager makes her charge the fee and there was nothing she could do about it. Well….I can. I can’t patronize nor recommend a restaurant that leaves their customers feeling violated!

Indoor and outdoor seating. Often busy, but well worth the wait. I suggest the pretzel appetizer. Perch was delicious. Tetris tater tots!!! Margaritas on special. Friendly staff and owner.

Proud to have this place be THE local establishment of Whitehouse, OH. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere have been a 5/5 experience on every visit.I live out of state now, but Local Thyme is a highlight every time I’m home.

Stopped in for a late supper. Was pleased to hear live music as we entered this establishment. There was a nice sized crowd in this restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. After looking over the menu, we both decided on the special - Brisket, mac & cheese, cornbread and a salad. The salad was good. The brisket and cornbread arrived in a unique dish which made it interesting to cut. The cornbread was really good as well as the flavor of the brisket. However, though the dish was hot, the brisket was not. A few moments later the mac and cheese was served; now it was hot. The serving sizes were large. (I brought some home, but still overate.) I believe we will stop by and try this restaurant again, but may try a different dish. The waitress checked on us about three times, once for the salad plates, once for bevrage refill and once to take our dinner plates. Our waters were not kept filled. I was surprised by not having a sald fork, especially at the price point of rhe meal. I was perplexed when she offered to take my salad plate while I was still taking the last bite of salad off the plate. (1/10/2020 arrived around 9 pm)

The food was pretty good and was large portions. The service was very slow and the waitress was never there when we needed something. We also had something in a drink and a hair in our food. Was not super impressed.

Very slow service. Thought it was funny when I heard another customer say it should be called slow thyme not local. They also now add a 3% to your bill if you pay with credit card. Guess this will be our last visit here.My husband got the same sandwich, just on different bread and mine was only half as big as his. Fries were soggy and cold. Not sure why as when we were there not crowded but still waited almost 30 minutes for our food. Just a sad

The food & entertainment was great & my goodness, you have to try Hanny's cheesecake WOW ! Several kinds to try.I Love the creme brulee , blueberry, raspberry or strawberry streusel not far behind try them all

The restaurant was clean and felt new, but it was poorly lit.. The waiters are fast, and very kind. Food was served in about 10 minutes. Food was served more fancy than I ever have eaten, but the cheese on the brisket sandwich was stretchy, like rubber, no taste, barbecue sauce was ok, and brisket could be improved. I'll consider coming back to try the ribs. Price seemed ok.Parking: Not a lot of parking spots, you have to park pretty far from the restaurant at popular times.Kid-friendliness: Saw lots of families here

Went in and said 10 minute wait. Sat at bar and waitress said bad night no sleep and over worked so will be a while to get drinks. After 20 minutes she took order and the table stile not ready. Five got seated first and served and 2 more got seated and we got seated and menus. The waitress waiting on them didn’t know who we should have so we left after that waitress came back to check on 2 tables. On way out the waitress was seating more people. We left. Unreal

Had the special Mexican tonight. Not too spicy. Chicken in the Enchilada was tender. Sauce was good. Rice was seasoned perfectly. Three for dinner. Two had drinks. Total with tip was 52.00. Good price for excellent food. Family place. Lots of kids tonight. Little loud but a good loud of families having a good dinner out.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome having a good time

I ordered takeout. The in house smoked wings with a side of fries and a garden salad no onions with ranch. When I got home with the food there was no fries and no ranch with the salad. The salad is supposed to have tomato and croutons but it didn’t. I called the restaurant to let them know of the mistake. She asked if I wanted to come back for the items and I said no I just wanted to tell you of the mistake. She said ok is that it? I said yeah but no apology?? She hesitated and said sorry with an attitude. I hung up. Usually we always have good food and service but not this time.
