This vet office is fantastic! I can't say enough about how amazing they are. They've taken wonderful care of our dogs (for over 18 years) while never suggesting unnecessary tests/procedures.They really care about animals and they deliver excellent medical services! We really appreciate them and we're so glad to have them as our veterinarians!

My senior cat’s health has been declining for awhile. Unfortunately we couldn’t afford to take her to the vet at first. When we finally could, I was dreading it, expecting to feel judged for putting it off and being unable still to afford a ton of tests. Dr. Jones was so kind and understanding! He said he appreciated my need for practicality and didn’t push for - simply recommended - the most relevant test. He seemed to be on the same page with me about wanting to keep my cat comfortable, not putting her through procedures and tests that she’s too old for. I was very happy with the appointment and hopefully my cat will start feeling better.

We went to this location with our brand new puppy on a Saturday morning. The vet tech was absolutely WONDERFUL and the people at the desk were kind as well. The vet we did not care for AT ALL. We were brand new clients to this location, and she did not even come in and introduce herself. She also did not take time to make our puppy feel comfortable at all. She gave him a treat and started touching him all over and he got upset with her and was growling and she just continued. My 12 year old daughter was holding him, as it is her dog, and she asked me to step up. The dog is entirely more comfortable with my daughter I might add and my daughter was then sitting in the room crying and upset. The vet did not even address this at all and she was visibly upset as well. We were not at all pleased with her bedside manner at all. We were not pleased that she did not take time to make the dog comfortable and just wanted to get in and out quickly. We have had the dog out and about everywhere and the dog has NEVER reacted this way to any of the 30 plus people that tried to pet him and she was calling the puppy a bad dog as well! When the vet tech was in the room she was kind, took time with Titan, and was able to take his temperature with no problem at all so I truely feel this was impatience on the vets part. I was just completely appalled at her approach and how she made my dog and daughter feel and that she was calling our puppy a bad dog. Needless to say we will not be going back to her or to this location. We will try the Maumee office and try another vet there. Hopefully, we and our dog, will be more comfortable next time.

I’ve gone to them several times to get my dog checked out. Very patient staff, very welcoming. I have a german shepherd and he has his guard up in situations such as the vet, they made him feel safe and secure and have every visit. Professional staff who clearly care for the animals that are brought in.

Nice, caring and compassionate staff. It can be stressful going to the vet for many reasons. This particular reason was to say good bye to an old friend. All were treated tenderly and the process was made very comfortable for my pet. We even got a follow up sympathy card. I would recommend High Point for pet care. I have been using them for over 20yrs.

My BFF had gotten really sick in late 2019. The entire staff at High Point did an amazing job trying to help her. They showed so much love and really cared about easing her comfort (and mine) to the best of their ability. They invested a lot of time and personal energy in researching to diagnose her. Outstanding vets and service. My Dog loves going there. He recently got incredibly sick and we thought we were going to lose him but they did testing, provided medication and worked through it and he's healthy again. They always respond quickly to calls and get to know your pet personally.

High Point Animal Hospital in Whitehouse is the best I've ever seen. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, even checking us out while still in the exam room for our convenience. The doctors are great and we have every confidence in them. We've had to say goodbye to four beloved companions over the years and everyone has been so kind and caring through those difficult times. We will always come here - thanks so much for all you do!

I learned about High Point from a friend who's takes both her dog and cat there. We've taken our cat to High Point Animal Hospital for years and we don't have any complaints. It's easy to schedule appointments, the staff is always friendly and I feel that they really care about my cat. The waiting area and exam rooms are nice, clean and spacious. I use them for both her veterinary needs and grooming. We live about 30-40 minutes away but we don't even consider going to a vet that's closer. My husband took her to a closer vet once when she was having an emergency and he wasn't pleased at all. We learned our lesson! If you're in the Toledo area and need a vet or groomer, use High Point.

(AKA "Kitty Lady") Experienced, compassionate veterinarians... prior to December 2019... when my beloved Siberian Cat underwent a dental procedure recommended by Dr Tom.... and, after receiving no answers to my questions, she was seen by a tech the following Saturday, who gave her an injection of Convenia for no reason! Silver Puff had no infection! She went into anaphylaxis later that day...and I lost my precious cat! No information was given to me of possible side effects of this horrid injectable antibiotic! I urge all pet parents to refuse this medication for your 4-legged family members! Choose oral antibiotics ---- and only if infection is diagnosed!For many years I had brought my cats to High Point for their veterinary care --- during rescue times and my years with ethically breeding amazing Siberian Cats. I had a precious little Persian from 1997 until 2018 named Nosa... and when she was ready to travel beyond this life, her journey was compassionately assisted by Dr Tom Mowery. I believe he is now retired, but he will remain a special part of my memories with Nosa and other special cats.
