Dr. Keaton is exceptional. Five stars! He cares about animals and gives them 100% of his attention. The office staff and the vet techs are - for the most part - friendly and helpful. Justin, in particular, is knowledgeable and good to work with.I tend to leave my cats in the car until called in for an appt. I did so this time also. I do this because the front office is often quite noisy (TV loud and office staff as well as barking dogs, etc) and not calming for sick or injured animals.But, overall, I cannot say enough good things about the vets there. One suggestion is to maybe have a separate area/partition for cats + small dogs because a lot of ppl do not control their big dogs - or their children.

My boyfriend took his dog here. And was told it had a heart condition and needed medication for the rest of it's life. And now they won't refill it's medication without seeing the dog again knowing it has a heart problem. It's all about making more money for the office visit and what ever else they can come up with while your there. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

The drama continues at Wheelersburg Animal Clinic. To get a more truthful and transparent picture read the response from customers in the file with lowest rating. Thedoctors from my perspective are doing a great job. The entrance staff is doing a lousy job, because of the management. The person, who is in charge of the Internet review and office has no capability of getting the facts right!!! Rather than to work with the hurt customer, She is sweeping all the bad stuff under the carpet. She thinks, that playing the VICTIM card is the right thing to do. Let me tell you, Highschool is over. Try to deal with the real world 🌍. If you would invest in charme school and customer service classes, that would be so helpful for everyone you are dealing with. Your boss should read the negative stories in order to get the facts. If you take care of the negative stories first, than the positive stories will follow in a much greater consistency!!Sitting in the reception area and watching the staffing, I became very fast convinced, that the right hand is not knowing what the left hand is doing.I also noticed another stupid game, someone came up with, when you are calling, they answer with the sentence ... If this is not an emergency, please hold. Most of the time you are not giving a chance to answer and you arewaiting.As I mentioned earlier, that I had the chance to watch the procedure at the entrance area,I have seen and heard the initial response of the procedure with the phone service in live. It was horrible for me to witness, that you get scammed right from the beginning. The person who answered, put the customer on hold and was just sitting there and doing nothing , just waiting to passing some time. Once in a while the person got up, walking around and than decided to get back to the customer, which was forcedto be on hold. They pretendto be so busy.I could go on and on with my perspective, but I hope, that yougot a chance to get the facts and understand, that the fault does not lies in you or your beloved animal. You are seeking for comfort and professional help. Also, this service doesn't come for free, we do pay a great amount, and for that reason, I don't think, that a better service requested is unreasonable.After being forced to get another veterinarian, I hit it lucky. I found a fantastic facility. The service is from start to finish excellent.. For all the other disappointed customers, sometimes changes are for the better.For the office manager, before blaming the whole world, take a look into the mirror first..........

The staff took amazing care of sissy. They were very friendly and welcoming and the prices were a fraction of any of the other animal clinics with considered taking sissy to but now we finally know what's going on with her and have a treatment plan and we're more than pleased.

My fur baby had a knot on her paw and we were very worried. They were all extremely nice and made us as well as my 4 legged baby feel extremely welcome. They were much cheaper than my previous vet and my dog warmed up to her extremely fast. She would sit and shake while my old vet was checking her but she wagged her tail and seemed extremely calm the whole time here. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys

I went in the office today to get my dog meds I was there in November and spent 400.00on him he had heart failure thay said I had to bring him in I did not have the money go home and kill my dog when I do it's going to be it is what it is

I had to put our family dog (of 13 years) Sammie down because he was in the last stages of kidney failure. They we're all so very understanding and supporting. They sent us a card a few days later with a set of Sammies paw prints that we have framed and hanging on our family photo's wall. They are awesome!😊

Called to Make an emergency appointment for our poor puppy that got hurt. Got told there is no one that can see him today and that it would have to be tomorrow when the vet is in. So we made an appointment for 2 O Clock today. Took our poor puppy in still hurt for his appointment and they said they had never talked to us on the phone yesterday and that also today there is still no vet that could help out dog. This place is a joke. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

I love the wheelersburg animal hospital I take my Dogs there they r very good at what they do they give my dog's the best of care, I love Dr. Lindsey May she's an awesome Veterinarian they r one on one care with my fur babies, I recommend them to everyone they r taking excellent care of my 14+ year old blind Pekenese I'm so greatful that I have them by my side on the invasive care of my little girl..Thanks Wheelers burg Animal Hospital y'all r the best!!

Our dog was hit by a car this evening. I called and it was close to their closing time. They met my husband in the parking lot and took Stewie right in. There were no broken bones but had SEVERE ROAD RASH! WANT TO TRULY THANK THEM FOR SUCH QUICK ASSISTANCE FOR OUR BOY ❤

I took my cat for a spay. Her surgery went well and she healed nicely. However, upon pickup, no post-op instructions were given and no explanation of the care she received was described.The clinic was extremely busy, and the atmosphere felt more like an assembly line of activity than an establishment of care.The overall experience was ok, but I feel there is significant room for improvement when it comes to customer service, information, and education.

Waiting over 30 minutes just to be waited on because all staff is in a meeting. Waiting room is at capacity and there's only one poor employee up front that apparently can't handle any transactions and is drowning just trying to keep up with the phones. Absolutely ridiculous.
