We adopted Harley ( he is now Johnny Be Goode) a couple of weeks ago. All 3 of our older dogs had passed away. We wanted a small dog ,one who’s passed the puppy stage . Johnny had been adopted before and taken back. We were a bit leery but he has been so loving and he knows he is home for good now! We are so happy to have him. Cabin Critters is a great place ! These women give all their blood ,sweat and tears to that place ! They love every dog that comes their way. If you are looking for a dog, please check them out. There are so many wonderful dogs who need a good home. You won’t be sorry. I’m only sorry that we don’t live out on a farm somewhere because we would have taken a dozen more!

Cabin Critters Rescue is a great place to find your new four-legged friend. Their care and concern for the pets under their care is quite noticeable. Firstly, the adopter's vetting is thorough. They want to be sure their pets find a safe home, and that they will be well taken care of. Secondly, the pets are kept in indoor/outdoor kennels, sometimes with another dog and sometimes not. The dogs socialization skills are not neglected. Thirdly, the dogs are well fed and taken care of medically as well.I found my little guy there. The adoption process was great, and of course the post-adoption part has worked out great. CabinCritters gives an accurate description of the pet you are adopting. They know their dogs well. My dog was up-to-date on all of his shots, and was given a nice farewell bath and groom on his departure date. I should mention that the rescue organization has a grooming salon as it's front-facing business, which is convenient.The location is a little out of the way, BUT DON'T LET THAT DISSUADE YOU! The little inconvenience of the location will be long forgotten after your first few weeks with your new friend.This is a great place to find the friend you are looking for!

After a recent loss of our furboy rescue, we were left with a 90# hole in our hearts and home. We began our search for a new furbaby as we knew our old BOBO would have wanted us to open our home to give another dog a chance at life and love❤️ We found Mr. Barkley (Chrome) and applied for adoption but didn't hear back, he was just 1 of maybe several we saw that felt right and they were all adopted so quickly it seemed we were in for a wait. Of course, I didn't know hubby applied for the same puppy! Catherine from Cabin Critters reached out to me after a family backed out last minute and would we still be interested to adopt Chrome? We couldn't drive 2 hrs away at that moment but she was willing to hold him until we arrived several days later.We were experienced adopters, but our experience with Cabin Critters was beyond our expectations!1. Their posting is honest! Our previous experience taught us some key info known may not be disclosed!2. They will ensure you will provide a good home and want to be clear you will be a good fit.3. Their application is thorough and sensible but not impossible to complete or match.4. Our puppy was happy and healthy, had a fresh shampoo, had shots, neutered and microchipped.5. We had the best follow-up with Catherine.6. The rescue cares and supports adopters for the life of the furbaby and beyond.Overall, we are very pleased! I adopted my now 2yo, Terrier mix, Ginger, last year from Cabin Critters Rescue. She has been the best decision. The adoption process was really pain free and the dog came with a very accurate description of her personality. Chipping was a part of the process and while I haven't had to use that service, I'm glad it's there. I would highly recommend this Rescue to anyone who asks !!! Pam Carte

We got our puppy from Cabin Critters Rescue and he is the best boy ever! I couldn’t be happier! The staff at cabin critters were so kind and felt like family! We text them updates on a regular basis is and they truly care about the dogs even after they get adopted! It was worth the two hour drive to get our puppy! Adopted a male poodle mix. They were friendly and met our expectations. Animals are neutered and chipped. That's a def plus. Would recommend adopting from them. I've adopted before and there was a lot of added benefits to using cabin critters. Shots, chipped, neutered and groomed are a few. I used their We Love Big Mutts, grooming service and They made my lil Diogie a brand new lil guy. He was a mess, they did a great job. They love doggos and are very caring. They had the cutest available for adoption.

This rescue is very responsive to inquiries. They let me bring my dog with me to see if she would get along with Tucker. It was a joy to be in this shelter. You can tell that these women love animals. I'm thankful they rescued Tucker so that I could adopt him.

I was looking for a new fur friend and wasnt sure which one of 4 I wanted. I got to meet all four and choose the one for me. They gave him a bath, trimmed his nails and got him ready to go home. The people are friendly and continue to check in and see how things are going. I would definitely recommend adopting from cabin critters. If if not adopting consider donating supplies to help them continue caring for there furbabies.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Cabin Critters Rescue! They truly care about their animals and the adopters. They worked with me on details, gave us tons of information on helping a puppy adjust and have checked in our wonderful new addition many times. The staff at Cabin Critters care a lot about making sure these animals go to a good home! The process was short and sweet, but thorough! Thanks to them, I was able to adopt my puppy, Marvin! we adopted our sweet ellie little over a week ago. she is the sweetest dog im so thankful i found cabin critters. the puppy we originally wanted was already adopted but they worked with us to pick out another puppy and im so happy we got her. They even contact us to check in on her. i never thought about going through a rescue but i plan on getting another puppy soon so ellie has a playmate. Thank you cabin critters
