For years I’ve been looking for a dog spa that effectively trims my dogs nails, including the Dewclaws. A family member of mine suggested to try this location.‘But I live in Ohio City, Westlake is kind of a drive,’ I said to them. ‘Is this place really that good?’‘Fine, then don’t go and be stupid,’ my father replied.I ended up making the quick trip and discovered that not only is Oliver and Henry’s is effective at trimming our son’s nails but overall it is a nice and calm environment.The staff are great and make our son feel comfortable upon his arrival, talking to him like a human throughout every step of the way. Staff are also very inquisitive about allergies, which is reassuring. I felt comfortable leaving to run a quick errand while he got a bath and his nails done, which was also extremely helpful.We also very much like the size and location of this place. It’s a hop skip and jump from Crocker Park and parking is never an issue. The prices for spa related services and products beat what I have seen elsewhere.And yes, I go to Oliver and Henry’s from Ohio City and have converted a few other friends as well. The backdrop of many other dog spas is often a lot of barking which our dog and many others can be sensitive too. But Oliver and Henry’s is typically more calm and quiet, allowing for a more pleasant experience.In summation, our dog is finally eager to get his nails trimmed whereas beforehand he was scared and emotional. All of my friends share the same impression too. If you are sensitive to your dog having a pleasant grooming experience, this is the place to go.

I left this location due to the owner treating me and her groomers just terribly. I didn't want to support a business where employees were getting yelled at. I came back randomly and found that Oliver and Henry's is under new ownership and everyone there is just delightful. I was so happy with my dog's groom. I will come back to being a regular customer now. Please put out some ads and signs telling everyone the good news.

I highly recommend Oliver and Henry’s. I went to another groomer for numerous years. As there service declined, I looked for a new place to take our dog, Bernie. I cannot express how happy we are with this place.Brittany is the groomer who cut Bernie’s hair. It was one of the best cuts he has ever had. He looked amazing. Even better, it was less money then the other place I used to go.I highly recommend Oliver and Henry’s, and Brittany, to anyone looking for a groomer.

I like this place. Our dog comes out fluffy and clean.The people are genuinely concerned about the dog's wellbeing. For our dog, he drools a lot. They experimented with different methods to dry him to keep him less stressed and less drooly!

I have been taking my dog there for a few years now. When we picked my dog up, she was cut pretty bad, she kept bleeding when we got home so much, it got everywhere. I’m upset I just paid $70 to bathe her and I have to do it when I get home. They left patches of long hair too. Must’ve been a new groomer, she never has problems. She ended up going to medvet emergency the days coming. She was very lethargic, didn’t eat, and was shaking in pain, she ended up getting a bacteria infection from there.

I am giving 3 stars because the grooming quality has declined over the past 6 months. I have been taking my labradoodle here for over 8 years and the old groomer was fantastic. I have seen a big difference over the past 6 months since new groomers started. Prices have increased and with the "bath/brush" service they offer, the old groomer would trim/clean up her underside/private parts and face area, but the new groomers do not do the underside/private parts anymore. I have always liked taking my dog here. The owner is very friendly and the store has great pet products but sadly, the grooming services have declined.

My wife loves this place. The store is cozy and full of interesting items for pets and the grooming center is impressive. Whatever shampoo they use makes my fur babies smell ahhmazing. They also did a great job on the nails and teeth, too. Very satisfied.

Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with the grooming itself. The staff is friendly and they treated my dog well. My issue is the scheduling. Even when I’m scheduling 13 weeks in advance, it feels like my appointments always get moved at the last minute and then the place is booked another month out. I understand things come up, but if every appointment is going to be impacted, I’d rather just find somewhere else.

This is the nicest dog grooming salon around. They do a beautiful job with my dog. You go into the back with the groomer so you can see everything going on. The place is immaculate! Mary (owner)is professional, kind and knowledgeable. I have a picky eater so Mary suggested a certain dog food. She actually went to the food plant in Wisconsin to make sure the ingredients were exactly what is needed for a healthy pet made in the USA. I highly recommend them if you want the very best for your pet.My mini bernedoodle looks adorable!!!

Just moved to the area and wanted to find a groomer I could trust with my Emma. I was recommended to O&H and I am so pleased with them! Steve gave my sweet girl the best haircut she’s ever had. He took his time and made her look so good! She’s a Shih Tzu rescue and he made her look good and was so gentle with her. Thank you Steve! ❤️

Always a pleasure to take the dogs here. The receptionist is amazing--always in a good mood. Maxine the groomer is wonderful. The dogs always come back looking and smelling fantastic. And their finished in 1 hour. Wow. Love this place.

I have been taking my dog to a groomer since I got him 6 years ago where we’ve been to many different groomers from having to move around so much. In those times, I have never went to go pick up my dog from a groomer where he’s left the place bleeding from being nicked. I understand that dogs flinch and make sudden movements while getting cut but when I came to pick up my dog from this place, the girl that I left my dog with had told me that she accidentally nicked him by his paw and he was bleeding a little. She apologized, I told her it was okay that accidents like that happen. So when I took him home, I noticed that his paw was still bleeding, and not only that but there was also a decent size cut on middle of his chest where I could actually open up the wound to see some of his flesh that he was also bleeding from that she did not mention anything about. My dog was very uncomfortable for the rest of the day afterwards where he would barely walk or use his injured paw. I don’t know what happened in there but I don’t want to see my dog with multiple cuts from being groomed when this has never ever happened to him before. I hope they are more careful with other dogs next time.

Took my Golden and my Bassett for just a nail trim. They were wonderful. Very clean and nice shop. So kind and professional with my two dogs! Highly recommend them! We will return for sure!

I took my baby there and spent 72 dollars? Because I bought my dog a 15 dollars toy because he looked soo horrible! Brittany should never touch another dog! Teddy came in with no matting no problems and she saw pictures of what he should look like! She paid no attention to what I showed her and groomed my beautiful baby like an egg! Never go there!!!!!!!!!!!

The grooming team spokesperson called me dear in a condescending way not customer friendly and denied that my dog had an appointment despite having a text message which I showed her and a phone call and an email from my daughter. She said it was for a different dog but best practice in customer service is to say a mistake had been made and in light of human error the dog would still be groomed.The idea behind having a profitable business is customer friendly service, good etiquette, and awareness that the pet is also affected by the tone and type of business interaction. I am afraid our dear dog will never recover from the trauma of today.
