This is the most organized Petco I have ever seen! The staff is very helpful too. They do not carry a wide variety of Temptations Cat treats, so I have to shop elsewhere for those, but they have a ton of dog and cat food options, including a lot of canned cat food flavors. They have Pro Plan dog food.

Employees are very friendly, helpful and have been able to answer questions I have. They do carry some live feeders but nothing that my spiders would consume but they were able to help point me in a better direction on where to locally find feeders and also online. I appreciate their help a lot even though they didn’t have what I needed. I recognize that not all shops have the space and ability to stock everything people are looking for but other locations specialize in carrying different things.

I had a very unfortunate situation this morning with my baby ferret that I purchased at a petco in Toledo. I went to another location for assistance and was told they couldn't help me. I called the Westerville location for a second opinion and guidance as i had been turned away from another local store. I had the pleaseure of speaking with Jeremy who I can't thank enough. He was incredibly kind and patient as I was emotional at the time. He truly went above and beyond what he had to do to help we through the situation and get me the help that I needed for my baby. He was genuine and truly cared about me and my baby ferret. I can't thank him enough and would like to make sure he is recognized for being a wonderful person and an outstanding employee. Thank you very much Jeremy!

The experience that i had walking in the store for the first time was good enough to buy a Batte I was looking for a 5.2 gallon tank but the manager was so helpful that’s win I was back the next day I would rate the help a 10.

I was looking for multiple items for dogs and cats. The two staff members that were working were both very helpful and welcoming. This store is not close to me but I shop here because the staff is always really nice and always helpful.

Took my yellow lab Finn for a pawdicure. I take him monthly for this. The girl who takes care of my boy just moved to another location due to the closing of the previous location. She is awesome.

Our dog got sprayed by a skunk so I was very happy this Petco was so convenient. The cashier helped me find the Skunk odor control shampoo and conditioner that we needed. Hopefully we don’t need this shampoo again, but we’ll surely be back to Petco!

Good variety. They carry a few brands that I really like. They have good sales if you buy in bulk. I have a very small cat and I wish there were cat beds there that were smaller than the smallest. Friendly service.

The employee attitudes besides a young gentleman who works there are awful. The older ladies act like they can’t stand being there and you’re an inconvenience to them. If you ask them a question they’re short and rude and when checking out they’re also not friendly at all. I’m unsure why they’re working there if they hate it so much, they’re not even friendly when you bring your animals in. Store is clean and organized however they need to look into getting staff who are more approachable and have better customer service abilities.

I have had pets all of my life & have patronized lots of pet stores. Petco Westerville is close to home, so I have been there a handful of times. Employee attitude is the main reason that I only go here as a last resort. Every time I've gone in, the person at the front register is practically laying on the checkout area, looking at their phone. No acknowledgment when customers come in, no offer to help & barely a grunt when checking out. The only redeeming traits are close to home & they carry certain things others don't.

I will NEVER shop at Petco again!. I earned a $30.00 reward from my last visit which was printed on my last receipt. When I went to use it today it would authorize my $30.00 receipt up ringing up my order. The 2 sales associates at the store tried several times to ring it up and it still would not take my $30.00 off. They even made phone calls to find out why. No one knew anything!! So frustrated I left the store and called the number on my receipt. After being on the phone for quite sometime with customer service I was told I had to spend $100.00 to get the $30.00 off. No where on my receipt did it say that....not any other stipulations! I proceeded back in the store and told the one sales associate what I was told and he told me he got a call back from a manager that said I had to spend $50.00 to get the $30.00 off. Again..... NOWHERE on the receipt we're any stipulations of any kind written! I find it odd the customer service rep for PETCO said I must spend $100.00 and the sales associate at the store told me I must spend $50.00!! Is this a scam. I will NEVER patronize your store again!! False advertising!!

I've always had a pleasant experience at this location. Staff is always friendly, place is - even when stocking is going on - always clean and tidy, and just an overall good time. Selection is better than many of their locations and my in-store pickups are usually completed on time. All in all my preferred location for sure.

I had a great experience shopping for our new puppy last night. Everything was clean and organized. I had a lot of questions and Steven was so helpful and extra loving to our little guy! He’s loving all the goodies I purchased so far… Although this location is nowhere I live… I plan to revisit simply because I felt my pup and I were absolutely cared for the entire visit. There was another lady associate there as well and she was super kind as well. Great job Petco Westerville. 😀

Surely woman with greyish hair walks away EVERY time someone walks in the door, always goes toward the back of the store, then you have to wait until she feels like helping you, she makes it seem she doesn't want to wait on you !! If you don't like to wait on people for God's sake get a different job. The gentleman that works there is Sooo friendly, it's to the point where I won't go back there, because she makes people feel uncomfortable, this has happened several times

I will never go to this Petco again. They were not welcoming and didn't offer help and when I checked out weren't very friendly, my Pug went around side and sat and looked at employee waiting for a treat OR a little attention, she did t even acknowledge him being there. WHO works at a pet store and doesn't pay attention to your pet? I went next door to half price books where my pug received a treat and tons of attention from the employees, which made us both feel better. I will continue to go to Petco, but the Easton location, which is a further drive for me, but worth the friendly attentive employees.

Asked to pet an animal with my 4 year old and employee rudely said "Only if you're buying it"! I would want to meet a pet to understand their personality before making them part of my household for years to come. Told my child we wouldn't be buying anything from their store and didn't. Poor customer service to say the least.

The store is smaller than the one we usually go to, but it was very nice. Great selection, well stocked, not messy. The cashier was super nice and friendly. We felt very welcomed. A bit out of our way, but will definitely return when in the area.

We just always have a pleasant experience there at the Westerville location. The staff are friendly and clearly are all excited to see the pets who come in with their families. My dogs are treated as welcome guests and the staff usually makes a fuss over greeting them. My dogs are happy visiting there. I get a friendly experience every visit. The prices are reasonable and I often find great deals in the clearance section as well on the more frivolous purchases. The staff is quick to help and know their products.

Great place to shop for your pets but don’t buy the pets there I brought two hairless Guinea pigs there and I had one that looked sick her name was Luna she died like in a month. Then I have another one her name is Fiona she grew bumps on her like on her neck but Fiona she acts weird she doesn’t move around like she eats and drinks good but shes not active. She doesn't run around and never play with her toys

Picking up my online order was super easy. All I had to do was ask the Cashier were the online pick was. Fortunately it was right where I was standing. My order was retrieved within seconds and I was on my way! No muss, no fuss.
