I love Kroger but this store has gone downhill. Produce is almost always molded/rotten. I do curbside pickup and these were pears that I was given. They are all bruised up and gross. They went straight into the trash. Don’t they have quality control? I actually laughed when I saw these.

Manager Erica has difficulty being honest. After spewing nonsense about how "it's the law" to check all IDs in the liquor store, I showed her the actual law and her flustered rebuttal was "well that's the Kroger law!" I'm 35, by the way, and I don't take my wallet into stores like Kroger that accept Apple Pay—because then what's the point of Apple Pay? Why even offer Apple Pay if you're going to make me carry a wallet too? Even showing her photos of my passport and Ohio driver license didn't satisfy Erica's made-up law 🤡

Kroger corporation is a sham. They inflate their prices, sell a lot of junk food, underpay staff, and employ capitalism to the max.You can tell they are dedicated to squeezing every last $ to maximize shareholder value.I have to walk across a sea of parking lots to get into the store. Only to walk through another sea of a store, just to get a single item.I can be in and out of Aldi in 15 minutes, this store takes 2x as long for everything. No disrespect to the particular store, I’m impartial, however grocery shopping doesn’t have to be this way.

They are giving their company a bad name. They never have product that says the store has when checking online. Poorly stocked always. Live closest to this store but the Kroger at Polaris and Sancus is far superior!

Sucks!!! The self check out lines are either broken or you need someone to help, and there's no one around to help. This used to be my favorite kroger, but now it's never stocked well, prices suck and if I have to be the cashier for myself, why isn't a manager around to take my coupons?Don't check it out unless you have LOTS to time to kill. Meijer is now officially faster and more efficient.

My own experience? Well.. today the girl is stocking in the gravy isle well... she had one half of the isle blocked so I started to go around the giant Cart she was furious with me for going around and said a rude comment to me..as she was bringing another giant size Cart to block the other half of the isle...so I couldn't get thru.

Normally I am not a huge fan of this location, typically because the parking lot and rude shoppers. BUT I just so happened to be in the area and stopped in for a few items. They have these scan and go grocery carts and OMG they are so cool! Perfect for when you just need to grab a few items and don't want to wait in the checkout lines. Seriously amazing! You grab the cart, click ready to shop, input Kroger member info and off you go. Once your ready to start adding items just scan and place in cart. The cart is equipped with a scanner, sensors and bags. You literally scan, bag, pay and go. Once you have completed shopping you click done shopping and pay. Note - it is only available to take Debit or Credit. Super awesome. I'll be back just to use these carts. Game Changer!!!!

My review is based solely on the pick up department. My order has been cancelled on me three times now. One time, I was called 20 minutes before pick up to tell me my order would not be ready until the following day. Received this call at 4:40 pm, was supposed to pick up between 5-6pm. Just yesterday, I got another call at 4:00pm informing me that my 6-7pm order would not be ready until the next day. They need to figure out their department. If you are unable to complete orders because you are SO busy, then the website should not make those order times available for people. I am placing my orders at 10am! (at the latest) Why am I getting a call 6+ hours later telling me that my order could not be completed. People make plans around this and now me, my husband and my baby are out of groceries for the evening because Kroger was so busy. Again, if you are this busy, you need to update your system to only allow enough orders to be placed that can be filled. I asked for any compensation for the constant inconvenience and I was denied. I will never place a pick up order with Kroger again they are EXTREMELY unreliable. Very unfortunate.

I am not very happy with clicklist! I put my order of 73 items in this afternoon and they call 30 minutes before I pick up to tell me my order will not be done today. He said it SHOULD be done by tomorrow evening!!! If they are that far behind then they should have called me this afternoon so I could make other arrangements to get my food! Not a happy camper.

The pickup department is the absolute WORST. Every week they delay my order at least an hour, and it regularly takes them 30+ minutes to bring out my order when I arrive. Rude employees, with no effort into subs.

I love shopping here, but they spend a ton of money expanding the liquor store yet the bathrooms remain disgusting.

Here it is Christmas week and the service desk is closed during normal business hours. The sign at the service desk said, "Due to staffing shortages, the service desk is closed". When I called to speak to a manager, no one ever answered the phone. This tells me that even the manager was absent.

I'm going to stop coming here. It's been nice these past few years, but I went in today (13/12/2022) for some quick groceries, and not only did I see an old man smoking a cigar in the store in the produce area, I also saw needles and a man slouched over on the toilet with the door open in the Men's restroom. I reported the incident to the two gentlemen who were working at the Starbucks, they said they'd report it to a manager but it seems to me nothing ever came to it - I saw them goofing off with some trash bags later.

The pharmacy is ignorant of Ohio Section "4729.281 | Conditions for refill of prescription" and refused to help me get an emergency refill of blood pressure medication. The pharmacist was unreasonable and would not even acknowledge the Ohio code she was ignorant of. I went to the Walgreens across the street and received prompt help from an informed and helpful pharmacist.

I really like the Kroger fuel points. I really like the current deal they have with added discount if you buy a car wash. I love that I can combine my grocery points and the car wash points. I love that they have the free vaccums

The in store shopping experience is fine. I’ve had repeatedly bad experiences with pickup orders specifically at this location so I don’t recommend that. It seems like baskets and especially the smaller carts are often difficult to find. The produce is typically well stocked and of good quality.

Great staff at the bakery!! :) This extremely pleasant lady at the bakery named Nikki helped me out when I was in a bit of a rush. I said "if I gave you guys my order now...could I pick up a custom decorated cake in about an hour and a half?" To which she replied with a big lovely smile "I can do that right now if you find one you like over there!" She's awesome!! I luckily found the flavor of cake I wanted and she decorated it beautifully. She was finished within minutes! I am sure that they cannot always help customers that quickly because some days are busier than others--but I just wanted to make sure that I made people aware of the great customer service over there at the Maxtown Crossing Krogers. Thank you again for the outstanding great service. Busy single moms (and most moms) can have crazy busy schedules and every little bit of kindness really helps. :) oh! And the cake was delicious also of course!

Filthy Restrooms. The Maxtown Road store is on my way home from work, so I go there often. This weekend I stopped in the store and had to use the ladies' restroom. It was a disgusting, filthy mess! Couldn't bring myself to use it --- stopped at a filling station on my way home, instead. Their restroom was a lot cleaner.

the greeter that’s currently at self check out, an older woman with white hair. I was there twice today and she greeted everyone except for me. What’s the different between myself and everyone else that was there you may ask? my skin color. i am mixed and she didn’t even acknowledge my existence. unbelievable that people still treat other people like trash because of their race and ethnicity. Not sure how Kroger Maxtown allows this….

First and last time coming to this Kroger. I literally just came here because I needed a money order. I guess the money, was closed but instead of new one politely just informing me when I got there that it was closed one of the cashiers who had nothing better to do than be miserable was rude when she told me. I'm sorry if maybe I don't look the part of a typical Shopper here but my money is just as green. Absolutely unbelievable.

We have been going to this location for 5 years regularly - longer than that for occasional trips. The quality of food has been horrible. I’ve thrown out more moldy or spoiled food in the past year or so - done wasting my money at Kroger. Especially this location.

Allen was killing it today!! It was a busy Buckeye football day and Kroger’s was hopping! Allen was working the self checkout and showed the most impressive patience with each and every customer. I mean, he never stopped moving between self checkout registers, was so pleasant and helpful to every customer (even the not so nice ones!). I commend him for his hard work and am grateful for his amazing work ethic and attitude. Give this guy a raise!

Food seems fresh, and produce, deli and cheese selections are extensive and nicely varied. Bakery offerings looked and smelled quite tempting! Seafood selection not great, only "farmed" salmon available, as far as I could see.I have not shopped this store before, not being from this area. Perhaps on another day (it is the Monday of Thanksgiving Week) this would not have been a problem, but the store was sold-out of several items on my list, including sour cream (only store brand, containing "corn syrup solids" available) and frozen pie crusts (the sort not already in a tin). Employees were friendly and helpful.

Smells like sewage in the bakery (even through my mask). It should probably smell like cookies, cakes or bread. It's been this way ever since the remodel. They probably need to sue the contractor and dig up the floors. Also, at the self checkout, an UNMASKED employee stood way to close to me and would not take the hint when I backed away. He just kept putting his face near me. I'm fine with small talk, but to stand in my personal bubble while doing so is super weird. It really creeped me out and made me feel unsafe.

Around 1-2pm today, I went into this Kroger with my wife. After looking around the store, the toy aisle and the end caps, and happened to notice a cart with boxes in the middle of the aisles. I tried to pick up and sort through 1 of 3 OPEN boxes of merchandise (Mattel Hotwheels) from this cart that was on the sales floor. A worker approached me and my wife and rudely and condescendingly asked “Excuse me, me I help you?!” to which I replied “No, I’m just looking for some to buy, I collect these.”At this point you could see his visible frustration and he replied again: “YEAH, we don’t really allow customers to do that here.”So I asked: “These boxes are open and on this cart, Which is on the sales floor. I am I paying customer - are these, or are these not for sale?”He rudely looked at me without saying a word and then took the box out of my hands! He repeated “we don’t let customers do that here.”There were (3) boxes I was willing to look through and make purchases from. I could have potentially bought all three boxes. He rudely turned me away as if he were offended I tried to sort through them. I had not left anything anywhere, and was even going to offer to put the rest away before he rudely took one of the boxes from my hands.I fail to see how it is this employee’s job to decide what I choose to spend my money on if the items are in an open box on the sales floor. He was a man around 6ft and had brown hair. Looked as if he were a “supervisor,” but I sure wish he knew the rules of retail and customer service. Sadly disappointed in the behavior of this employee.

The entrance closed at 9 on Friday. Had to walk back to that entrance to get a cart. Then back again with the cart. At checkout there was a long line for the self-serve which was all that was open. The self-serve turn tables only hold 4 bags after scanning. Who is in charge here!? They were obviously not there!

I was a very loyal kroger shopper for 20 years. About 5vyears ago my husband took over the grocery shopping and he liked Meijer. Over this time, when I needed a few items I always went to Kroger. They had items a lot of stores didn't have and it just seemed more convenient. A couple years ago. Kroger did a store reset and it has been a disaster since. The aisles are narrow and blocked with display items so that you can't get through the aisles. It is congested and confusing. It seems a new marketing philosophy has prevailed and it is not helpful to shoppers who need to get in and out. Meijer it is.

I am very disappointed that Kroger’s vaccination clinic discriminated against my family by refusing to vaccinate our special needs child until she gives her own consent. They decided to take a lunch break and make us spend the time trying to talk our daughter into consenting to the vaccination. Apparently, judged it to be too difficult to vaccinate an 11-year-old who says she is scared of shots and does not want to be vaccinated. I have never encountered another medical clinic who is unwilling to vaccinate a minor child simply because she will not agree that she wants to be vaccinated. It is, in fact, pretty standard for providers to vaccinate children whether or not they wish to be vaccinated; I unfortunately know this well, because my child has protested against vaccination for as long as she has been able to talk.

I go here to buy lunch every once in a while and they have some hidden treasures throughout the store. I really appreciate the table area outside where I can eat lunch in the shade instead of the hot car. I was in heaven when I first discovered it! I wish their indoor dining area was open but Bc of Covid I can understand. And I’m not trying to complain, the outdoor area is very nice too! :)
