Dr. Meakin is amazing!! He saved my Jagger and I can never thank him enough. Jagger came to Dr. Dan very dehydrated and sick. We discovered he had kidney and liver disease plus a mass on his spleen. He’s RBC was way down too. His staff at Beechmont and West Union took amazing care of my baby. What we thought was bad news for Jagger ended up in good days. Dr. Dan has called to keep updated on Jagger, showed us how to do his treatments at home, and so much more. I am so thankful that Dr. Dan has gave me more time with Jagger. We will use Dr. Dan for life. Thank you so much for everything! We recommend you to everybody. Dr. Dan is worth the price and more!

I just had one of my cats there on Saturday, August 19th, before that in April my son had a male kitten neauterred both times the staff was very professional and friendly I just got too meet the Dr.. last visit I really liked him he did a great job examining and explaining everything too me. Would highly recommend. Only thing I wish he could be there more dayseach week. I really liked his character. When I explained that I had taken my pets to Dr. Bailey through the years until his retirement this spring. He said that he had served this community well for so many years. So that made me appreciate him even more. Again it showed his character. Hopefully I will not need a vet for awhile. But they will be where I take them when needed. Great job everyone.

hateful vet, very rough with my cat. he’s condescending, and unprofessional, in general. he is too lazy to look at when he prescribed my cat certain things, and does not tell me prior to remember the date so that i can administer my cat’s next doses on the correct date. these people refuse to answer a phone call, at all. i got my cat spayed and was not even offered the opportunity to buy a cone or protective onesie for my cats healing process. this incompetent excuse for a vet likely wants my cat to get an infection to get more money from me. i regret even going through with the spaying. do not go to this pathetic excuse of a vet.

If I could leave Zero stars I'd give this vet -1 million thousand zillion..We were quoted $153 but obviously this Dr just thinks he can take advantage of people..We left the vet paying $275..Now all we originally went in for was vaccines for our 2 fur babies?.We did however get heart worm test but the money wasn't the main problem,Bc when it comes to our babies we would do what was necessary to insure that they are WELL taken care of..This vet was rude,unprofessional and just truthfully a complete a*s why anyone would come herei have no clue..The nurses was extraordinary and if not for them keeping me calm I'd more then likely gone to jail bc this man had me so angry..I do not feel like what we got was worth anywhere near $275..Oh and not to mention he already done everything before he quoted us what the total was..He** it could have been $1000 what would we have done?told him to please extract what ever he shot them with..I mean come on..So my advice is if u don't wanna pay absolutely ridiculous prices for what u can get elsewhere for lots cheaper and don't wanna be treated badly and disrespected than do not go to Dan Meakin..UPDATE! First of all my babies do not have fleas they had fleas while they were at your office and now that we are home they have none..Anyone who knows me knows that my house is spotless and I wouldn't have fleas nor allow by babies to have fleas..I've talked to a fee other that had issues with your services also..And yes u were the 3rd vet but we did not have issues with them both one was the vet in Maysville who wouldn't see Audrey when she wasn't feeling good bc they were too busy..And the other was because we had missed appointments because of work and it was too far away..BTW the only thing that was reasonable was the price of the spay everything else was outrageous and u quoted us when u had already done everything..From now on we will gladly make that longer trip to the other vet..And no worries we wouldn't go back to you anyway!

Your office was great! The building is so cool looking! And the staff was so friendly and quick at getting him in and back home comfortable. The staff even cleaned up his carrier after he had an accident in it on the car ride there- poor lil guy Not to mention, your office's prices were comparable to what the shelters and neuter scooter kind of organizations charge! But you got us in within a week, and those places had a 2 month waiting list!

Had a very dehydrated anemic cat. They got me right in and offered several courses of treatment that allowed me to choose the one that fit my budget. The final bill for treatment was very reasonable. I'm happy to say the cat has improved and is well on his way to a full recovery.

I didn't get to meet Dr. Dan personally, I took my cat ín to be spayed and all çaught up on her shots. The staff was great, welcoming, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable. That was Dec 22nd, today's the 26th and Floyd is back to herself, no complications at all. And for everything I had done it was affordable . Íd definitely recommend to anyone.

My dog was in bad shape. I thought he was going to die. The vet stayed open a little later and waited on me to get there so he could help and ultimately saved his life. These are some very caring people and I would definitely recommend taking your pet here. They truly go above and beyond and love animals.
