They do a great job taking care of my little girl. They groom and bathe her keeping her looking her best. She loves seeing everyone and is excited to go when I mention it to her. And I love the pictures they post of the dogs on their FB page. I have seen many of my girl on there.

We had our dogs groomed there for the first time and they did a great job - we have two large dogs (a Pyrenees and an English shepherd mix) and they look fantastic! We were running very late for our appointment and the staff were very accommodating and still able to fit both dogs into their busy schedule.

My dogs seemed super happy at this place. I saw a couple photos on FB of my pouches which was nice. They were groomed well. The only reason for four instead of five was because I was charged an extra $50 with no explanation, I received 3 out of 4 towels back, 3 out of 4 bones back and 0 out of 1 food scooper back. None of that matters because I received 4 out of 4 happy dogs back!

We have used Old Stage Kennel for over 7 years and have always had great service. When we got our new puppy, they had expanded their services so we took our pup for training classes there. We now use their grooming services too. Logan did a great job and Pam is the sweetest and very helpful! They get to know your dog and treat them with loving care!

I'm blessed to have found a wonderful grooming place with the option of boarding for when I leave town. My dogs know all of the staff...and boy do they care and spoil my dogs. So happy we have them.

We have been bringing our dogs to Old Stage Kennels for a couple of years now. We have always had great customer service and felt confident that our dogs would be well taken care of. The staff always remembers our pups and it makes me feel better knowing that they are loved on while we're away! They are timely in response, affordable, and most importantly caring.

We were camping in the area and planned to be away for a few hours. Call last minute to get my parents dog in for daycare. They took her in with open arms. The facility is clean and the dogs are well taken care of. Great place for an out of towner.

We have been taking our black lab here for 5 years whenever we will be out of town and need boarding. The staff is always friendly and our dog always loves to go. When we hand him off to the workers to go back to his run he is pulling on his leash and doesn't even look back. Like a kid who can't wait to see his friends at the playground :-) The runs are indoor/outdoor, just like we have at home. You can also set up playtime in a yard with other compatible dogs, which my dog loves. We've used them multiple times a year, even up to 3 weeks when we were on vacation, and our dog is certainly happy to see us when we pick him up, but he always comes home happy and healthy.

We love this place. The owner called us during our vacation to inform a possible UTI in our pup. She picked up the antibiotics from my vet, even offered to take my pup to her vet, and made sure our pup received the care needed.This is a fantastically well rounded facility focused on the physical and mental health of the animals under their care.I am grateful to have a happy, family feeling place to send my fur babes while we are away from home. I know my pups are in good hands.Thank you Talerie and staff!

My Goldendoodle, Maverick, has been going to Old Stage since he was a puppy (now almost 5 yo). They are super accommodating with my busy schedule and last minute reservation needs. My dog has stayed there for multiple weeks at a time and comes home happy and healthy and exhausted from all the fun! I highly recommend!!

Been training our Labradoodle there for a couple of months. We really are happy with them for training, grooming and day and overnight boarding. Our dog is always excited to see the staff and go to the kennel. It is great to have one place I can go to for most services needed.

I've been taking my labradoodle to Old Stage for five years. He is a large, energetic boy that loves to play. I like that he gets to be outside on real grass instead of inside on a concrete floor where he can't really run. At Old Stage, they match dogs up with similar energy levels and make sure they are compatible before they let them go out together. I take him to "camp" twice a week to play with his buddies. He always comes home happy and tired. I used to take him to Petsmart for daycare which cost twice as much. Unfortunately, they would put him in time out (a kennel run) because he was too playful. He never came home tired and was very anxious when I took him in. It's the exact opposite at Old Stage. He runs and jumps in the car when I ask if he wants to go to camp. He loves all the employees and they all know and love him.I have also boarded him at Old Stage when I've gone on vacation. I used to feel guilty about leaving him at a kennel but now I know he is well taken care of and having a good time himself.

Stayed at the Kennel Inn Air BnB.Nice accommodations. Clean. Wifi never worked, no big deal. Phone rang alot in the accommodations in the mornings. However it is attached to a dog groomer.

Dropped all 3 of my large dogs off here. I have two with separation anxiety so she made sure to keep them together. They even took their walks and played together. Talerie went above and beyond letting me know if something seemed "off" with any of them and sending some pictures so I could see my fur babies during our trip. They were dropped off on a Saturday and picked up the following Saturday, all bathed and healthy when I picked them up....I was given an update on how they did....they are tired and happy to be home! I'm sure they enjoyed meeting new friends. I will definitely use them again.Talerie wanted me to feel comfortable and the pups to be comfortable....she even had me bring them for a free daycare day so they could meet the staff before our trip and drop of wouldn't be the first time they have been there.I may do a few daycare days throughout the year so next vacation they will feel even more at ease and so will I. I told her from the beginning I was nervous and she responded with "what can we do to make you feel more comfortable" also she was happy to answer any questions or concerns along the way.Thank you!

We were very pleased with the family friendly approach at Old stage Kennel. They included our children and even allowed them to walk back and get our doggies! The staff was very pleasant. We will definitely be returning for future stays.

Zeus and I LOVE Old Stage Kennels. I've boarded him a couple times and we do training through them as well. The staff is great and so are the facilities.

First time at this kennel, new to Waynesville. We use kennels a couple times a year, so decided to give this one a shot. I will not be back! We dropped off our 9 month old and 12 year old dogs for one night. Upon entering facility there is a strong animal odor. The owner was nice, but was afraid to put their paper collar on my 9 month old (20 lbs). She said that often dogs that are scared bite. I said she has never bitten, and she is 9 months old plus first time at a kennel. Her fear shocked me. I finally left them, only because we had to be out of town that evening and it was noon already. The next day we went at the earliest pick-up time of 5pm. The young girl asked if we can get our dog from back because the 9 month old is very scared. I said did something happen? She said, not at all... but since we are there and she may bite. I asked again, did she at all? answer was no. Confused, we were escorted through the door to kennel. I was socked! Every dogs water dish had yellow water. Our dogs were 4 cages in. They did not have their toys, beds and yellow water as well! they had these rags under them, like a make shift bed. I said where are their items. They said on pick-up day they gather their items out of cage and put it up front for parents. But they had no idea we would be there they sec they opened! Then we go back up front and they hand us the 12 yr old bed. i said where is the 9 month olds? They said she soiled it, and it was washed. When it came out the white dogs all over bed, were yellow like the water dishes! it didn't smell like urine, but fully discolored. The bed was ruined and I spent the next 2 days soaking in oxy, and rewashed 5x’s. My dogs have matching beds and they were expensive, so refused to throw them out! I was seriously shocked at grounds, facility, the fear of handling a puppy, and the yellow water in bowls and all over bed! My dogs raced inside our home, and drank two bowls of water. Think they too did not want to touch their water! There are so many better facilities in area! I highly recommend you go to them. I gave 2 stars bc my dogs came back healthy besides the dehydration, but that is the only reason.

I've taken my dog to old state kennels for 3 years he goes to 2 to 3 days a week. As soon as has he sees his ziploc bag of food in the morning for daycare he runto the garage door and waits for me and jumps into the car. The staff are incredible and very kind to my dog. Not sure what I do without them.

Just wanted to share that our schnauzer, Margee Jo, loves being pampered by Pam who grooms dogs at Old Stage Kennels. She, obviously, loves furbabies and treats them like her own. She has been very encouraging about how Margee will adapt to her recent sudden onset of blindness. Pam's fees are reasonable and the facility is clean and a healthy place for our girl to be every month!Thanks, Pam, for doing a great job of keeping our girl looking her best.

Dropped our dog off there...a golden retreiver... and he stayed for 12 days. Upon picking him up we noticed that he had chewed the heck off the top of his left front paw and his back right leg around the elbow part. He has never done this before. He had also lost a lot of weight , also fur was matted and was very stressed out. The lady their said he only ate once a day. When we got him home he ran straight to his water dish and drank and drank. He then laid down and slept most of the day and most of the next. I would not recommend this place to any body and I will never take him there again

Fantastic kennel. Great personnel. Take very goid care of all pets whether foe one day or a week. Owner is an expert trainer, if you have any poems with your pet she can fix it.
