We recently bought a whole beef from Carroll Creek Farms and the quality is amazing! I love the way it is packaged and labeled - it is SO easy to pull meat out of our freezer and know exactly what it is! We are so happy to have meat that will last us a long time, and it is so nice to know that the meat is of good quality! Jess has been so helpful throughout the process and we are so grateful for her farm! Would highly recommend!

Seriously love this farm just a short drive from cincy!Best eggs and pork chops ever. Kroger, who? It goes without saying it’s fresh, but it’s also absolutely delicious. You can’t make a mistake cooking it, I swear.Also, do feed the goats, but watch your clothes because they like to eat those too. Maybe a rooster will even be out of his pen?

Carroll Creek Farms has exceeded our every expectation for locally raised & ethically processed pork & beef. Just last night we enjoyed a sirloin boneless steak that was perfectly cut & trimmed. The meat was tender and flavorful without needing to over-season. The ease of on-line ordering and the professional integrity of the farm has us coming back year after year. We would also say that they have chosen excellent local butchers who with care and skill produce the finest cuts of meat in the area. We are blessed to have such a resource in our 'backyard'. My husband and I ordered a half hog for Christmas from Carroll Creek Farms and are exceedingly happy with the purchase. It was a simple process to pick our cuts from the butcher and the pickup was flexible and easy. It makes me happy knowing we are supporting a local family farm with our purchase and the pork itself tastes better than any store bought pork I've ever encountered. We will definitely be ordering another half hog once we've eaten through this one and would highly recommend Carroll Creek farms for anyone seeking great local meat.

My husband and I have been very impressed by Carroll Creek Farms. The history, which is extremely interesting, their goals, cleanliness, and products, thus far, are outstanding. Our first visit was in April. We are trying a little at a time to see how we like the taste and effects of good quality products and working it into our budget. So far we have tried the ground beef (which was so good we served it for our family Easter dinner,) chicken, two kinds of sausages, and their eggs. We have also purchased milk, cheese & butter from other local farmers from cute little 'Meat Retreat' on the property. Loving the healthy choices and supporting local businesses.One day I look forward to meeting Jess and her family by bringing my grandkids to learn about the beauty of farming and using the beautiful things that God has given us to live and how hard work pays off!Thanks for all you are doing!

Amazing. We have been using their farm for about 3 years. We started off with the 10lb. a month and moved up to the 1/4 of a cow. Last year we ordered 1/2 of a cow and loved having our freezer full. The owners are amazing. They are so nice and are always eager to know how we are doing. For the last two years, we ordered our Turkey from them as well. We have never had so many compliments on how our Turkey tastes. Beyond amazing. The best thing about buying a fresh Turkey is that it does not take as long for it to cook. Buying a turkey that has never been frozen, allows for the cooking time to decrease. And the Taste, uummmm you will never buy from the freezer again. I will continue to buy from them and plan to make another order in the next few weeks. If you have ever thought about how to support the local community, here is your chance. They are local and have such a variety of meats to choose from. Go out and see their beautiful farm. It is well taken care of and they will always greet you with a smile.

We love purchasing our meats from them. We buy a quarter beef, put down the deposit, chose our cuts and wait for the good stuff to arrive for pick up. Their beef taste so much better than store bought. And we also like their maple breakfast links. It is great to support our local farmer!

Our purchase in 2021 was the first time we ever bought bulk meat. It was a bit outside my comfort zone. Jess gave me some very helpful tips and the butcher walked me through the cuts. When I picked up my purchase I realized I had made a few small errors in my order. Jess went over and above in helping us fix the order to our needs. She gave us amazing customer service! The meat was very high quality and delicious. That is why we are back in 2022 to buy bulk meats again from Carroll Creek Farms!

The wholesale ordering process is great and can be started completely online. Once the order is ready to process, I get a call from the butcher asking how I want the meat prepared; types of cuts, size, how much to be ground, etc. After that the meat will be ready for pickup from Carroll Creek. I have picked it up from both the Second Street Market in Dayton, and also from their farm. You start the payment with a deposit when placing the order, and complete the payment when you pickup the final product. The price is calculated based on the hanging weight of the animal, so depending on how much is trimmed, you may not think you are getting as much as you paid for, so don't be too surprised. It's still a great deal for the quality of meat and service. You can also, go to the farm for a tour sometime, and check out their Meat Retreat if you want to sample before committing to a large order.

We used to make a trip to Carroll Creek Farms every other week for our meat. We learned about their wholesale process and worked with them to purchase half a cow. We bought a chest freezer to store all of the meat, and we haven't had to worry about rising meat costs at the local grocery store! Half a cow has lasted us a year. Carroll Creek Farms was easy to work with in helping us purchase our half cow. They clearly communicated the cost, how much space half a cow takes in the freezer, and what types of questions the butcher would ask about the kinds of cuts we could select. We highly recommend buying from Carroll Creek Farms!

Processor used MSG and nitrites when curing the pork, which is extremely frustrating. My fault for agreeing to have it "smoked & cured" without asking what they used in their curing recipe I guess. Still taking off a star, as it seems ridiculous to even use a processor that would ever consider ruining fine berkshire hog bacon like that. Its also very salty. I'll buy from carroll creek again, but will definitely get the bacon and ham raw and cure it myself.
