First time to the store...$0.99 a pound super red strawberries!They have a decent hot sauce section...munchie section.Good deals on some fish/seafood..Nice clean store. Some prices cheaper than other stores...some more expensive...you just gotta look for deals. I will return.

Meijer is way better than Marc’s in my opinion especially price wise and selection wise. Tons of food , clothing selection , pet supplies, and alcohol for the adults. Save A Lot has been raising prices for quite awhile and to be honest my days of shopping at Walmart are over. The Super Kmart was a very legendary store but out with the old and in with the new. Thank you Meijer for being a breath of fresh air.

Absolutely in love with this grocery store! The fresh foods and produce departments were phenomenal with selection & outrank most stores in the area! Made my first trip here the other day and can't wait to go back! Prices were affordable & I was able to find everything on my list! Added bonus is the produce scale & tagging system, helps with the scan & go process!

I was in the area and had to check out the new store. Quite impressive!! I was surprised by a fairly wide selection of cordials in the bar supplies, if just slightly more expensive than Walmart (the bottle I was looking for was a dollar more at Meijer). That being said, there were lots more options.I was actually rather surprised with the space and selection in the store. The big open window areas do add a nice atmosphere with natural light, and I could find just about everything I expected and then some. Two things that really stood out to me were the product display and checkout. The shelves are lined with bright 24V LED strips which make a big difference when you're searching for a particular brand from a distance. It's a nice touch that other stores could really benefit from retrofitting on their shelves. And the NCR self-checkout machines are brand new, even slightly faster and more responsive than at Walmart. Pretty fast to weigh produce, and none of that "unknown item" rubbish. And don't even get me started with the nightmarish "place your.. ITEM!! ...in the bagging area" nonsense at Big Bird! It even scans your ID for age restricted purchases. Overall, I like the store atmosphere, it's very modern and fitted with top tier tech, and the selection is wide enough to check off the obscure items on my shopping list. Fresh watercress, uncommon GT's Kombucha flavors, and an astounding array of Mexican cheeses? Good show!! I'll be coming back more often

Meijer has a huge selection on food varieties! They have just about everything you could want and need. There birthday cakes are very delicious! The butter cream icing is sweet. But not overly sweet where it over powers the cake! The prices are a lot better especially in the meat and grocery sections. Their meat is delicious! Fresh and alot of different varieties to choose from.

Visited 2x. First time, our cashier didn't even say HELLO, & it was only 1 of 2 registers open. White w/ blonde hair, overweight, heavily tattooed. Bad first impression for a store to hire someone so rude & who seemed annoyed by our presence. There was also something posted about "no pictures allowed". The second time the staff was friendly but some of their produce, as large of a selection as there is, was so wrinkled & small that it shouldn't have been sold. Overpriced in general

I'll give a three stars because of the fruit vegetable selection in the name brand shoes and the comfortability of the clothing.I have frequented the Meijer grocery store in Niles several times, and while I must commend the store's aesthetics and well-organized departments, I have some reservations about the overall experience. The store is indeed eye-catching with its new and spacious layout, offering a wide range of name-brand products including clothes and shoes. However, my interactions with the staff have been consistently disappointing.The employees at this store come across as unfriendly and inhospitable. From the greeter at the door to the baggers, the lack of basic courtesy and friendliness is evident. Their demeanor makes me feel unwelcome and out of place every time I shop here. It's disheartening that in such a modern and well-kept store, the staff fails to offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere.Comparatively, I have found the staff at places like Walmart to be more approachable and friendly, which enhances my overall shopping experience. Even though I appreciate the variety of products Meijer offers, the negative energy from the employees dampens my enjoyment and leaves me feeling drained. Despite enjoying their fruit and veggie selection, the lack of positive interactions with the staff makes it hard to justify making this store a primary shopping destination.In conclusion, while Meijer in Niles may appear appealing at first glance, the dry and unwelcoming atmosphere created by the staff overshadows its physical attributes. My repeated visits have consistently left me feeling unappreciated and undervalued as a customer. I can only hope that the management takes steps to improve their employees' attitudes to create a more inviting and customer-friendly environment for shoppers in the future.This is my honest review in my opinion and my personal experience.

I shop here rather than Walmart now that it's in Niles. It's more convenient for me and it always feels like I'm getting a great deal because I like to bargain shop and I can use coupons on my phone and get discounted items. Then to top it off I get coupons at the register and reward points to get money off my total. Way better than Walmart. Clothes and other stuff is a little expensive but tjmax and burlington is literally right next door. So win.

At first, I was so sad when Super-K was torn down. Lots of childhood memories in that store. However, when I stepped into the new store, it was like a breath of fresh air. Super K-mart was grungy looking and outdated. This new store is so spacious, clean, comfortable, organized, and professional. I absolutely love the $5.00 Wednesday sushi ! I love the healthy options for food that you won't find anywhere else. The prices are okay, depending on what you purchase, it can be just a bit pricey.

I think some items are a bit pricey.. Second time in store. I buy there cinnamon rolls from the bakery...better then Giant Eagle.. the store appears clean...haven't really checked out all Depts!

I got so comfortable shopping at Walmart, Sam's Club & Giant Eagle that I forgot what a good sale was. Meijer is superior when we talk about grocery shopping. If you're looking to save some cash and still receive quality foods, shop here.

Overall we like the store...would be nice to have hand held scanners at the checkouts, especially for the larger items. And if you use the pick up area for the first time, the signage and curbs are confusing where to enter...you have a large sign in back and a small metal sign out front.

Today was the first time I had ever been in a Meijer store. It's a fairly new store, so it was very bright and clean. It's sort of a "Walmart" type store with groceries, clothing, housewares, sporting, and so on. Pricing isn't bad - some things are a little pricey, and other items run less expensive. Nice store. I will probably go back. Just wish it was closer home.

The people who work here are the nicest people in the area. Everytime I'm walking around the store someone will approach you and ask you how your doing or can I help you with anything, and it's everytime. God bless these people.

Every time I have been to this store during daylight hours it has been an amazing experience.However, every single time I have been there after 8pm I have encountered rude employees, and it makes me not want to shop there.

Update April 2024: Over the past few months, service has gone downhill pretty quickly.My online ordering experiences have been the following:- On one instance, half of my online order was not loaded into my car. All the refrigerated items were forgotten, and I had to make the 25 min drive back to the store to retrieve the forgotten items. The pickup people were extremely apologetic, and did what they could to right the situation.- On my most recent order, there was a technical issue on Meijer's end regarding payment. Despite the app telling me my order was ready for pickup, when I got there, the manager told me I couldnt get my $350 worth of groceries. The card on file has never changed, and there was no issue with funds. She simply said "Sorry, there's nothing we can do" and went about her business. If it weren't for the pickup person suggesting using Google pay, I would have left empty handed. The pickup person was patient, kind, and understanding. The manager couldn't have cared less, and it's quite obvious that she was not willing to help beyond telling me "oh well". This last incident has left a lasting impression, and I don't know if I'll be frequenting this Meijer anymore after being treated like a burden.Employees are friendly. Store is clean and well-organized. Prices are reasonable, and the store has a great rewards system for coupons and redeeming points to save money. Can't say enough positive things about Meijer. This location has become my go-to spot for grocery shopping.

Stopped in to get some groceries and I wondered over to the electronic department. I had some questions about flatscreen TVs. There was an employee named Mark who was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. left Miejers with all of my groceries and a 55 inch flatscreen.Great Store!!

Ok so the store is amazing. It's like Walmart but without the people of Walmart if you get what I'm saying lol. I feel like some of their front end personnel could be a little better, but we all have our off days. If you haven't been, go. You won't regret it.

Alot more variety than Wal-Mart, but, yes there is a but lol, the prices tend to be a tad bit higher. But, like I said, the variety is greater than Wal-Mart, Target and Giant Eagle combined. The way they have the store laid is going to get you to buy more, unless you stick to your shopping list. Because the grocery is in the back of the store which means that you need to walk through retail to get to grocery!
