I just looked up Rite Aid for the phone number and noticed the rating. I had to take a moment to give my very positive feedback because I think this rating is WAY too low. My wife and I have been customers of the Wadsworth Rite Aid for more than a decade. We have had wonderful experiences. We have even continued as customers since moving about 20 minutes from the store 4 years ago. There are at least 3 pharmacies that are closer to us, yet we continue to do business there. Keep up the good work!

I use to love this pharmacy, I have been getting my scripts filled here for 19 years. The last year it has been agonizing to get my prescriptions filled here. The latest experiences being out of town and trying to get my prescriptions transferred and them billing my insurance company for prescriptions that I haven’t picked up and now I can’t get my prescriptions filled out of town. Trying to call all day along with the other pharmacy and nobody picking up the phone. Then being told by the mail that works there that he was too busy and couldn’t get to the phone all day. It has just been Plan ridiculous. Calling finally getting a hold of somebody and being told for me to have my insurance company call them and they’ll explain that they didn’t charge my insurance company for a prescription. Isn’t that your job anyway so glad to be leaving this particular branch at Rite Aid and moving to a different pharmacy that’s even out of my way. To be done with all this and the ridiculousness that has been going on here for the last year I feel a heavy burden lifted off of me

They do a nice job with medications and are accurate. The drive through is helpful for picking up meds.

SHOUT OUT TO THE PHARMACY!Couple of weeks ago there was a gentleman (I don't remember the name) working and was super kind and helpful! Their was a miscommunication with my doctor and where my medication was suppose to go and when I was suppose to get refills. So I was calling to transfer to different pharmacy location out of state, but he understood what was going on and got it fixed almost immediately! Thank you a bunch for being an amazing worker and human being! Great crew all together!

Walked in for a flu shot and was rudely told they are only taking scheduled appointments. That's all fine, but their sign out front literally says both walk ins and appointments accepted. If you are only going with one method, then ADVERTIZE IT AS SUCH, very simple business 101. That way customers are not wasting their time, and I recommend the pharmacy staff fix their attitudes.Judging by prior reviewers it's not only me with such an experience.

Just wanted to say Amanda, Jess and their team have been amazing. Going from a teen to an adult and having to pick up my own prescriptions and deal with insurance was tough especially with my busy schedule and moving 20 minutes away. But they always are very helpful and explain to me what I need to do or what they need to do to get things rolling and back on the right path. They are very professional and know what they are doing in every scenario (for me at least) they’re very friendly too which makes things less stressful. Yeah I could go to a Rite Aid close to me, but I will not because of Jess and Amanda. I’m staying here until they retire haha

Everyone working at Rite Aid the past two days has been incredibly helpful and kind, I am extremely grateful for the employees in both the pharmacy and the counter customer service and checkout. These employees have always been kind and helpful, greeting me right when I enter the store, asking if I need help finding anything, and they have always smiled and been so friendly. My partner and I have had a difficult week due to a surgery and prescription challenges after this. I think haveade five trips to Rite Aid and called three times and the eople work in the pharmacy have been so helpful and compassionate. They have checked on statuses for me and I have seen them working SO unbelievably hard to help the people in their community with an unbelievable, never ending workload. Thank you. You all made a difference to us. Also, thank you to the woman who worked the front register yesterday for helping me sign up for the RiteAid rewards thing, it only took a minute and saved us some money!

My family and I have been customers for over 20 years. The pharmacy is great. Jessica and Amanda are excellent at what they do. The techs and staff all know me by name. The front staff is excellent as well. Jane and Janet are always extremely helpful. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend the wadsworth store and pharmacy.

I cannot believe the experience I just had!!! I went through the drive through and was told they did not have the prescription, I left the drive through called the Doctors office and they assured me they had called in the prescription, and BTW were on hold for 45 minutes. I then went inside and they suggested I call the doctors office again and have them call the prescription in. I called the doctors office again and while I stood there I heard the phone ring and an announcement pharmacy line 1. No one answered the line that was on hold for 20 minutes while I stood there, the pharmacist was talking with a vender about rubber gloves!!! Then one of the people working behind the counter asked for a birthday, which they had not done at this point, and all of the sudden they found the prescription. I did hear one the the people behind the counter that they thought the call was for our prescription, but it went unanswered!! After all that no apology, or recognition of mishandling the prescription!!!

If I could give less of a star for the experience we just had over the phone with Pharmacist/Tech Amanda I would. She did not verify my name or date of birth. She insisted I had picked up a medication when we were out of town- literally not even in the same state to make this possible? Then she told me I was never prescribed another medication when I was literally holding the bottle in my hand reading it to her. My husband had to call back and she gave him the same attitude until realizing that she was literally looking at the wrong patient’s account. Then she hung up on him when he told her that she should have verified the name and date of birth to avoid this whole mess. I’d like to add every other employee I’ve encountered as a patient thus far has been nothing but pleasant. However, the unprofessional approach by Amanda needs to be addressed.

Probably the worst customer service at the pharmacy. Ana* or however she needs spell it needs to be reeducated on some customer service because she definitely is lacking in that area. Will be switch pharmacies due to that issue specifically

KENDRA a store managerVery rude, impolite and out right mean.Upon entering the store me and my wife greeted the store managers and was not greeted back.KENDRA approached us and said I had to remove my leather book bag.I explained I go everywhere with my book bag on.She said it's policy.I was in the same store the previous day with the same book bag on. Please review your footage.After I took off my book bag. She said if there is a problem you can leave. I responded and said there is no problem . I started shopping and upon leaving Wadsworth police was outside waiting.They said they were called because we were disorderly and cursing... SMH.🤔.I will never return to a rite aid anywhere after this. The worst experience I've ever had any where. I will be contacting my lawyer about this matter.I feel highly disrespected and unappreciated not just as a citizen, human being or African American BUT, a CUSTOMER.KENDRA should not be working in customer service.P.S.Please review the footage to see for yourself.#thecustomerisnotalwaysright.Sincerely yours,Unhappy shopper.

I was short a few dollars getting my prescriptions filled and one of the workers went above and beyond and paid the difference out of her own pocket. Also the staff has always been friendly since I started going there. I would definitely recommend!

My experience at this location on 5/12/2020 was disgusting.Upon entering your store my husband and I were asked to leave a back pack at the front counter, which was not a problem with it being store policy as Kendra stated. I pointed out other customers with back packs Kendra proceeded to turn a blind eye to other customers. Kendra asked if I had a problem and said I could leave the store.This became a problem when store policy did not apply to other customers who had back packs.We purchased our items and left the store. To add insult to injury Upon leaving the store Kendra called the police, this was completely uncalled for.Also Jane was not wearing a face mask or gloves.Jane was coughing and touching items.

Went to the Rite Aid store on 3-9-2020 to get my medicine like I do every month for the last 8 years today when I went Terry the drive-thru representative refused to give me my medicine unless I paid her money I advised her that it was a worker's comp situation that I do not pay she said yes you do you have paid the last three times I advised her she is wrong I've never paid and I've been getting it for 7 years from Rite Aid every month she goes no I'm not giving you until you pay she then held up a piece of paper that said that I paid for the last 3 months and I advised her again she was wrong she said well you're not getting your medicine to move along so I left I called workers comp on the phone they called Rite Aid and advised Rite Aid they had it wrong and which they did it was a computer error on Rite Aid behalf and then I returned to the Rite Aid store and talked to Amanda the pharmacist who would not even apologize for the inconvenience of keeping my medicine from me and she would not even comment on it and pretty much told me to stick it I will not be going to Rite Aid again I will never buy anything from Rite Aid and I think that the way they handle their customers is really poor .
