It was such a wonderful time for Dakota to get pampered and looking really good. He was a great client for his first time getting groomed and well liked. He's now 6 months old and almost 48lbs. Alysa has been my groomer since my AKC Cane Corso Matteo was 6 months old. He is now 3.5 years old.Alysa has the perfect temperament for handling my 165 LB. Canine. He is always anxious but affectionate when we arrive at Wadsworth Petco.

Showed up in the last minute of the allotted 15 minute time frame to get our dogs there. Manager was on the phone and when she hung up, the time had ticked to one minute past our allotted time. She refused service. Now we have to wait months to get them groomed. Not happy about this to say the least. We will be finding a different groomer who values our business. ***update***. Now, as retribution to the fact that we were upset by the way they treated us, they refuse to service us anymore at all. Petco grooming is by far the worst.

My fur baby Chihuahua Lucy just had her spa time with Alyssa and every time it is such a wonderful experience! Today, for the first time, Lucy came out wearing a kerchief, and I just melted because it was so adorable that Alyssa did that for her. Alyssa is kind and patient and so sweet to Lucy and gives me excellent customer service we line up our appointments in advance and Lucy is always happy to come see Alyssa! Give her a raise or at least gift, her some Starbucks!

The groomer told me she was not able to get his hair cut because he was nervous. She then told me to take him home and use an electric toothbrush to get him used to being shaved. I took him home and took trimmers straight to him and my dog just sat there like nothing was going. My other dog has high anxiety and he gets cut right away within 2 hours by a different groomer. My dog that was getting cut is super chill and was there for about the same time 2 hours and got all the same services but did not get cut. I called up and told her that he was chill when I took the trimmers to him. She told me it’s because he lives with me. I took it as an excuse and canceled all my future appointments.

We have fairly low grooming needs for our dogs - Brittany’s. Every now and then, they need a good spa day and this Petco totally fits the bill! Easy to schedule, super friendly staff, and they handled my crazy dogs with easy. We will definitely be back for grooming and more!

It was Louie's first trip for a groom, and I was nervous with how he would behave. I could tell how patient and caring Cassie and the staff were, so I was feeling good after dropping him off. When I picked him back up, he was happy and playful and looked like a million bucks. Cassie did a fantastic job with him. We will be regulars for Louie's grooming in the future. Thank you!

I try to do as much I as can for my Matthias, like bathing, brushing teeth and trimming nails!!! Since just moving here 2 yrs. ago from Texas, I got email on free nail trimming and thought I would jump on the opportunity to see how he and would do and how well groomer handled him!!! Sorry to say I don't remember young ladies name, but she did an GREAT JOB!!! Thanks for the free coupon and would maybe like to try and get his teeth cleaned!!!

Went to Petco yesterday as a walk-in to get my dogs nails clipped. The girl working told me they don’t do walk-ins and had a sign out that said no walk-ins. This was disappointing because I’ve never had to make an appointment before. So I made an appointment to come back for the next day. When I walk in today they didn’t have my appointment down and told me they don’t make appointments for nail trimming. Does not seem like the employees are on the same page. When I finally got my dogs nails trimmed they were not done well and two of the nails didn’t get trimmed (even though they needed it.) I do not recommend going here for your dogs nail trimmings.

I had a great experience. I really only needed my one dog to ha e her nails trimmed. I called before and they told me just to walk in. You don't normally get that type of service, specifically at chains. We talked for a while. They let comfort my dog during the service and I walked out with a future appointment. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS!

A few years ago I took my corgi here to get her nails trimmed. When I looked through the window one of the groomers had her pressed down against the table with her body on top of my dog to cut her nails. She stopped mid trim because my dog bit her. Ever since then my dog has been traumatized and won’t allow anybody to trim her nails.

My dog is still itching …. she had a bath and flea shampoo. She should not be itching. Maybe they should have used an oatmeal shampoo/conditioner after the flea shampoo. She does seem to feel better after the bath.
