I have a golden retriever and I take him regularly to keep his hair trimmed and manageable. They do an exceptional job. I went to another groomer once and was very disappointed. I highly recommend Petco in Wadsworth. He also get his nails trimmed and buffed, teeth and ears cleaned. The whole works! Abbilee is the one who takes care of him each time. She’s amazing with him. You can tell she truly loves dogs and what she does, and knows what she’s doing. I won’t go anywhere else. I know he’s in good hands. The prices are reasonable too. You can sign up for their premier package if you go regularly like I do. It saves you money.

I drive to Wadsworth from Cedar & 271 because there's a full service Vet here, prices are the same or less than the one I used to go to that's only 1 mile from my house. But mainly because EVERYONE is cheerful, pleasant, and helpful. I don't have to wait 45 minutes to have my appointment, and my dog seems very happy when we arrive as when we leave.

I was just at this location. My dog is very sick and needed a prescription food. I stood in line to get some help. When it was finally my turn, the cashier sent me to the veterinarian section of the store and told me that the person over there would help me find the food that I needed. I'm handicapped and I can barely walk. I got over there and there was a place to sit down because she told me that I needed to wait because she had another dog coming in. After a few minutes, she asked me to get up and leave the veterinarian section, apparently because she wasn't going to help me until this other dog came in. There was no one in sight bringing another dog in at that moment. Apparently she was just too lazy to help me. I'm in a wheelchair at home, and since she asked me to leave a seated position and go stand outside of that area, I just left. I let her know that she was less than helpful. Then I called and spoke to a manager and he was less than helpful also. All he did was apologize, but he did not try to rectify the situation at all. So now I'm going to have to order the food from chewy, and my dog won't have what he needs right away. So yeah, thanks for not helping me. I'll never be back.

My wife came to this location to get some prescription dog food for our dog. Our dog is very ill with liver damage that we are treating with our vet and he's not eating well because he's so sick. No one would help her find the correct food and she's handicapped and they asked her to leave a seated position and go stand somewhere until they could help her. The lady in the vets office where they sent her to get help was sitting on her butt and doing nothing. Claimed she was waiting for a dog to come in, but couldn't take 5 minutes to help my wife. We ended up ordering his food from Chewy. They were more than glad to take our $100 order. And as long as our dog is alive, we will be using this food. Your employees are downright lazy. My wife was still in the parking lot and spoke to the manager and he did not even offer to have her come back in to rectify the situation. Guess they don't care about $100 orders. We will NEVER be back and will continue to do our future orders of food and medications with Chewy. I don't suggest this place unless you don't need any help finding anything in their store. Very bad customer service and they don't care about your animal. My dog needed help immediately and we had to wait 2 extra days to get food he needed now and could of had immediately if they had taken 5 minutes to help her find a case of food.

Took 2 dogs there, for different reasons and got the best service. The receptionist was really nice and the doctor was so understanding.the Vetco clinic is good. Clean with private rooms for consultationIt’s cheaper than a lot of private vets with the same or even better quality.My small dog got his medication and they trimmed his nails for me without charging me for it. My big puppy who is going through training was skittish but they were so nice to us and gave her peanut butter.The vet even recommended new trainers and new training techniques for her.Everyone was so nice and very professional. They listen to everything you say and advise you accordingly.Awesome place, i definitely recommend it

I would never recommend this vet to anyone. I signed paperwork clearly stating to not do anything without my permission, no matter what. They pulled my dogs teeth without as much at an attempted phone call and then hid it from me. Didn’t even bother to tell me that they performed the procedure against my wishes, hoping they wouldn’t get caught. Had no idea my poor dog had stitches in her mouth and was sore because they couldn’t even tell me about their mistake. I’m absolutely appalled at the service we received here.

I highly recommend everybody to go ..they'll take your money and if you make a complaint or say anything, they'll refuse for you to ever come back. They have no customer service skills. The Petco in Medina is fabulous and I go there all the time. And never have a problem. I am sorry that I visited this Petco. In wasworth. My dog was wet not fully brushed out.Top orbottom but i'm at fault I'm so sorry I have always been respectful and I even tipped the groomer.

The vet clinic was exceptional!! I felt very confident with the doctor and tech while they were treating our emergency and they didn't pressure me to do more than what my girl needed. They were percise on treatment recommendations and implemented quickly. I would definitely recommend them!!

Wonderful staff-very helpful, great attitudes! They have literally everything pet concerned, but they are pricy on some items. I suggest you price shop around before going, sometimes they do have the lowest price. I was worried about placing in-store pickup for my online order with it being only an hour before closing. I wanted to not miss the holiday sale either, so I asked the staff what to do. They informed me that I am more than welcome to shop the items in-store because they match their own websites price! I was unaware petco did price matching with their online website before now...glad I was able to leave with it at sale price, the kittens love it. They did break the cover on the first feather within an hour, but at least I know they'll be interested in an expensive one now. Same price as chewy and didn't have to pay shipping or spend minimum amount for free shipping.

Amazing place for pets and pet supplies! We got our new pet rats a wonderful home there and they price matched their online price. They have an amazing aquatics selection as well and adorable pets in need of homes look to be taken care of. Some maybe more then others but all in all a good shopping experience.

I usually don’t complain as I find it’s a waste of energy, however the experience me and my fiance had taking our sick cat to this location is having me break that.Keep in mind, we weren’t not seen by Dr. Clark we were seen by a female doctor.We took in my senior cat for an emergency appt due to seeing blood in her urine and frequent and inappropriate urination. Once we saw the signs we made an appt and this location had the closest opening. Also keep in mind, we drove an hour away to get my kitty seen.The vet tech was wonderful, she was sweet and caring and asked in depth questions about my cats condition. She was the saving grace.However, after they took my cat away to get vitals, the Dr. came in, introduced herself and immediately goes “there are multiple things wrong with your cat. What is her quality of life like at home?” My cat plays, eats, has healthy bowel movements, cuddles, is extremely vocal and immensely loving. She has multiple water sources and is fed some of the best quality wet cat food on the market. We were immediately talked down to as if my cats condition had to do with “neglect”Her bedside manners were absolutely GOD AWFUL. My cat is my world and to be spoken to in such a way was heartbreaking.She continued to rattle off what was wrong and proceeded to tell me that it could be a multitude of things and that “none of which are reversible” Thats it. No follow up comment as to that they are “treatable” She mentioned how dehydrated my cat was and how much water she drinks, but as I stated, we came in for frequent urination so OBVIOUSLY she is dehydrated. She knew nothing about the brand of cat food we feed my cat (Tiki Cat and Wellness) and couldn’t recommend any high calorie cat foods to increase my cat’s lower body weight because she “doesn’t know what’s wrong with her” However she constantly mentioned my cats low BW with zero guidance as to how to correct it.Keep in mind, we came in for a possible uti and she didn’t even touch on the uti (which news flash, she ended up having one after getting her test results back)She was given antibiotics and fluids and we went about our day. She wanted to schedule a follow up but I said “no, I’ll be taking her to the Fairview location for her follow up”I would never ever let this lady lay her hands on my cat again, and I pity any person that has to receive any sort of treatment or tough news from this woman.My cat ended up having a hyper active thyroid (hyperthyroidism) (a COMMON issue in senior cats) which is why she looked underweight. It wasn’t to neglect, it was an unknown health condition that we are now treating her properly for.Word of advice, learn how to properly address and speak to your worried and grieving patients. I would not recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals and obviously I will never be back.

I have generally had all the good feels for Petco, but now as an organization, I'm not so sure about continuing to support them. I stocked up on cat food for my new kitten when they had a good sale on it. The dry food could no longer be used because she now has seizures and needs meds in wet food and she isn't supposed to have dry food anymore because she also has been diagnosed with kidney issues. The dry food was not expired nor open, but it was apparently past their two month return policy (it's true I didn't rush out to return it). They said it's impossible to even return it if they wanted to.I told them the cat food stated on it that if you were not completely satisfied with the product (which I struggled to feed my cat in the first place and still had tons left of the first bag), return it where you purchased it for a complete refund. They said it wasn't possible to do that and they encouraged me to leave it there to donate to a shelter. I told them I'd donate it to the shelter of my choice.I guess my complaints are 1) if you won't honor the manufacturer's return policies, you shouldn't sell their products and 2) it's not in good taste to request my item be left with you to be part of your donation program when you are part of the problem. This makes you look good as an organization, when you are actually inconveniencing your customers.

Very nice place, big, with a lot of pet options, not just dogs/cats. I got a fish for my daughter, and they have a great selection to choose from, even those that glow under blue light.

The only positive thing that I am able to say about this experience is that the actual groomer was very kind and nice. I had never been here before for grooming and I will not return. I booked my lab for a bath and to have his paw pads trimmed. He is a xtra-large dog, but they offer services for dogs his size, so i did not think anything of it. Once we got there, they gave me my “quote” which was ENTIRELY more than I was planning on paying for- they had added a deshedding. Because of the time of year I said whatever and didn’t make a fuss and agreed to pay for it. 2 hours later, my dog is ready for pickup. When i arrived they let me know that they were only able to do his back nails and back paw pads and he was too “nervous” for them to do his front because he almost flipped their table. I ended up paying almost $100 for my dog to get a bath and half of his nails cut and shaved down. There are handfuls of hair coming out so I’m not sure what they did for “deshedding” but it DEFINITELY was not worth $40 additional dollars. Do not recommend going here.

Had been going to this groomers for awhile. My dog was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur. Which I had to get a note from the vet saying it was okay for him to be groomed. I got a note from the vet at their petco location and they still refused. Instead of explaining why, everytime I made an appointment they would cancel it a couple minutes after.

I do not ever leave reviews but I feel it is necessary for the unnecessary sadness my family just encountered.I was conned into a subscription for “vital care” “$5 a month”. Here to find out it is $19.99 a month and my lovely chameleon died within 12 hours of having him. Oh, and I cannot even cancel this joke of a subscription even though my pet has passed..but I take blame for that. Shame on me for being fooled. I’ve owed reptiles and acquired everything I needed for this pet, costing me a pretty penny after going elsewhere quickly to get adequate supplies after I was sold a kit that basically needed to go in the trash. Putting that nicely.. anyways.. They offered me a refund for the little bit that the chameleon cost. If I were to drive an hour to return his body.. no thank you… the heartbreak of my children, and let’s be honest, myself, after investing so much love, time, and excitement into a new member of our family, was quite upsetting. And when I called Petco it was a giggly “oh no” when I said what had happened. Very disappointed. I won’t say do not shop here for pets, each to their own. And let me tell you, the manager is a phenomenal salesman. Bravo. Just sharing my families experience. I’ve attached a picture of our sweet guy that we got to love and admire for a very short time.

Ordered online, pickup notification email within an hour so it's good! However, the next day, I received an email saying my order was picked up but I hadn't been there yet. So I called in and he couldn't find my order but he was willing to put out another bag of dog food as my order. I went there and got it with no problem. But it's not a good thing I want to experience. Hope it won't happen again!

I came looking for two things: air tight dog food containers and collars. The container prices were too high. The dog collars left a lot to be desired. I have one Large Breed dog: She’s a Treeing Walker and almost 80 lbs. I have on XL Breed: Mastiff/Rhodesian at 140. There are no basic chain training/slip collars for either of them. The XL/XXL tops out at 75 lbs. 75 lbs??? And then several brands don’t do past Medium. Then there are brands of collars without weight thresholds listed. As someone who also used to have a Cane Corso and a German Shepard, I know I can’t purchase with knowing that information. I was very surprised and a bit disappointed. I gave three stars because I found an especially friendly and somewhat helpful employee. She put me at ease and told me I could return what didn’t work.
