When the stars align, the moon happens to be blue and the leprechaun waves a purple flag..they may be open for you to go and shop. Even if all those things occur they still might not have anyone to work. I've visited this particular store 3 times...in a row and not ONE time were they open. It can be 2:16 on a Monday or Friday at 11:30 a.m. or possibly a Wednesday at like 8:55 and the likelihood is high thst you're going to be met with a sign on the door, written in crayon, that they are closed. Now this store is acrossed town so to drive there and be turned away multiple multiple times...is frustrating to say the least. So now I just don't go. There's another about a half hour south and I'll go to that store instead. Atleast until they start hanging notes on the doors...

I stopped into this store on my way through, I couldn’t find what I was looking for and after walking around I found the store manager and she was very friendly and helped me find the product I was looking for right away, I’m very pleased with my shopping experience and definitely would consider stopping by if I’m ever in town again, hopefully that manager sees this and knows she’s doing great even being short on staff.

I love this location everyone is very helpful and friendly. I've never seen anyone smoking or being rude like other reviews said. I don't think people realize a lot of these people are doing the jobs of 2 people you have to ring register and put product up in between customers and if you constantly have customers you can't get product put up. That's why there is product down aisles sometimes. These employees are trying their best for real y'all need to lighten up.

When we stopped in today to get something quickly, we were loudly and rudely alerted by two smoking white trash heaps Dollar General likes to call staff members smoking by the front door that they closed in 15 minutes until 5PM. I completely understand that they do close temporarily during the day. That’s fine. But yelling at your patrons as they shop every 5 minutes that you’re about to close mid afternoon is annoying. I will not be returning here for any reason.

Stopped to shop at Wadsworth Dollar General and as usual there is a CLOSED sign in the window. I stopped coming here and usually go to Rittman instead but thought I would give them one more try. You may as well keep it closed many people have given up on this store including me today. 4/15/2023. No stars should be given for Wadsworth Dollar General but it won't post unless you give them one star.

This is the worst ran store i have ever come in contact with. It is a disgrace to this town. Never are the shelves stocked. They are closed random days because they can't staff it. They took a month to fix their doors last winner. Their self-checkout works about 50% of the time probably the same as their employees. I don't know how this place has not been closed yet.

I was in this store today. It's a complete mess! And when I got to register 75 percent of my items rung up wrong higher priced then shelf tag showed. The manager said she didn't have to honor shelf price! Never ever shop there again!!!

I’m not sure why this store is always a cluttered mess with carts full of merchandise that hasn’t been stocked? You can barely make it down the isles to grab what you need. Not to mention people smoking cigarettes by the door when you walk in/out.

I’ve always been happy shopping at this location. Associates are always friendly. It was nice to be greeted at the door and not to hear any of them screaming the time near closing or counting down the minutes to last minute customers as i have in a couple of other locations.

Very clean well organized store. Been to many others and there's usually a lot of boxes in the aisles this one was completely stocked... Had to come to this one because the one we went to right before didn't have any diapers stocked and we waited for 3 days and went back but they still had huge unopened boxes in the aisles for 3 days.

Great customer service! Just had 26 balloons inflated for my daughter’s graduation party. The staff—especially the Assistant Manager—went out of their way to get the job done well. Helped me find appropriate ribbon and get me on my way in a timely manner. Thanks!

Having run into quite a few different Dollar General locations over the last 5+ years to grab a missing ingredient for dinner or the requisite snacks for a Saturday evening Netflix binge with my fiancee, this location is definitely in the top tier among others that bear it's name. While not perfect, and this is allowable to a degree in my mind considering the huge number of individual items spread across plethora of departments, the bare minimum of employees clocked in at any given time as a result of the value centric nature of the chain, the shelves are always acceptably stocked, the cashier generally friendly and welcoming, the selection of both every day necessities and tasty indulgences never fail to satisfy. Beyond the grocery convenience, the toiletries are well rounded and priced very competitively, any quick office or school needs satiated, and I usually have no issues finding an item that I had completely forgotten I [wanted] needed.I have been in some Dollar General and Family Dollar stores over the years that took not more than a full 5-10 seconds to leave me shocked at the dismal, chaotic, and downright unclean state of the store. Restocking was placing the box of items on the floor and literally tossing a couple onto the shelf. The shelves were literally half barren and the multitude of boxes, many containing food items, created a maze that required one's full attention to avoid. The employees were firmly ensconced in the area behind the registers that must have had force fields keeping all 3 or 4 employees from exiting the area. Profanity, verbal planning of post-work cannabis consumption at a high decibel level, and a general disdain of any request by a customer that required a level of effort beyond what could be fulfilled given the resources of the force field protected employee area are a commonality at far too many of these types of stores; some areas are worse than others...I can tell you that this Wadsworth location is nothing like the above. Friendly and competent employees, a generally well organized and stocked store, an obvious adherence to a cleaning regimen that shows, and the desirable end result of a trip here that is exactly as designed: convenient, quick, and successful.

The girls that worked inside the night that me and my wife went were extremely unprofessional. They weren't actually working and the state of the store was extremely lacking. Carts of stuff in random isles in the store, lots of missing product. Very unorganized and just felt empty in some places.

This store is going down hill fast. The appearance on the inside as well as the safety has considerably decreased. Items, shipping boxes, and trash have laid in the isles every time I've visited over the past 6 months.

Good value, convenient, and carries major brands and high quality house brands. Their version of 'Bounty' paper towels are just as good and quite a bit cheaper. I highly recommend Dollar General over any gas station for quick purchases, and it's more convenient than going to a full grocery store if you don't need produce. Kitchen supplies are what I usually get here.

Ran in there last night to grab a few last minute stocking stuffers. The cashier's name was Ashley, she was extremely pleasant and helpful. She was patient and not the least bit stressed out or short with people even though it seemed like everyone in Wadsworth had stopped in there at the same time. Lol Definitely made it a much better experience than your bigger stores (Walmart) where most of the cashier's are in a hurry and rude with you. I will definitely return and hopefully all the cashier's are as nice.

At the Wadsworth dollar general the cashier that I had the other day Cassie Travis was extremely rude and disrespectful. Gave me nothing but attitude and I did not appreciate it not one bit. I know her personally and she should be ashamed of herself because I KNOW her mama raised her better than that. Especially since I am older than her and a frequent customer to that store. I would appreciate if something was done about her actions!

Dollar General is Dollar General. Great place to grab something small very quickly.The main thing about this location is I left my debit card one day and they found it and held it! Was extremely happy!
