AAA offices are a victim of information only on line. Just like newspapers. Printed material is not available. Maps, travel guides, brochures are not in the offices anymore. Getting this material on line is not as easy as it seems.Lack of travel agents means less in person assistance.Seems to be the way things are going.

However the Lady who greeted us took the time to answer our questions and provide us with all of the printed trip material we needed.. Wanted a trip tick for out west, told the clerk what major highway I wanted to take. Was given the other major route with tolls. First and last time I try a trip tick. The tour book for my destination was good. As was the road maps.

Horrible hours. 9 to 5 M-F and 9 to 12 Saturday. Excellent hours for those of us working 9 to 5 M-F, only to sit in line while everyone in town competes for those 3 hours on Saturday.

I stopped to get a map of Hilton Head Island South Carolina, but, unfortunately, you do not carry them. The Hilton Head SC Chamber of Commerce has one online but it is illegible. There is a general map of the island in the South Carolina Tour Book but it does not show the specific areas of the island. The staff was very friendly and apologetic for not having what I wanted..
