This place is amazing we adopted (Cody) who is now named Kobe InuYasha. We had absolutely the best experience ever. Even when there was a slight mix up with the pups (there was an event that day and him and his brother got mixed up) they were able to get it all taken care of with ease. I am also very appreciative of the follow up phone call I received to check in to see how he is adjusting after the 5 weeks we have had him. If we ever want another pup we will definitely be back!

This place is AMAZING! Every last person I came in contact with was so kind and helpful. The place itself has a warm vibe and was immaculate, which is no easy feat in a shelter situation! The cat area is spacious, calm, and quiet- just like every kitty prefers. Everyone here is doing a wonderful job. Thanks for helping me get my fur(less) baby Osiris!

I adopted my 3 cats from here. I go there frequently so I can tell you that they take very good care of their animals. The staff is super friendly and they even have volunteering opportunities which is awesome.

Ngl I really had high hopes for adopting these two kittens we got. We adopted them on the 7th of February. We had them for about 2-3 weeks before they started having tape worms leak from their rear end. We took them to the vet and got it straitwned out. As we had not anticipated them having tape worms, mind you, very common in cats. We didn't know what to do so we quarantined them to our basement till the vet appointment came up.After that the vet told us to keep them quarantined for 2 more days till they got the worms out of their system and to clean our home. That cost a blood fortune. And now we brought them back up here with a freshly cleaned home and they started to have diarrehea from hell. When I mean it I mean it. We called the vet and they said it wasn't normal for 2 days after to schedual and appointment. And that's what we did. Assuming they are getting into something in our basement we have now had to quarantine them in our bathroom. Cat poop everywhere and yes I mean everywhere. We were not ready for these kittens to have worms straight from the shelter.We called and told the shelter that our newly adopted kittens had tape worms and they said they don't give them dewormer for tape worms when they come in to the shelter. So watch out every one adopting cats here as they may very well have tape worms and be ready for what comes after.

This place is pretty good!! We fostered Torte the kitten (Her original name was Winnie) until we could adopt her. Probably getting in a cat fight, Torte had a wire in her bottom jaw. We started fostering her on December 11th, and We adopted her fully about 3 weeks ago. They left the wire in her jaw for a little longer but it is okay because she is a very healthy kitten now!! We took her to our vet the other day and she is doing great!! We didn’t pay a cent for the wire to be removed either! Thanks AWL!

My husband and I were there over the weekend because we would really like to have a new furbaby. Tutti was so sweet and we just fell in love with her. We filled out an application and was approved and we are happy she is now a new addition to our family! Everyone in there is so nice and personable. We love it here. Also please if you are thinking of adding a new kitty to your family think about going here. They have so many to choose from and they all so precious and sweet.The same goes for the dogs and puppies. If I had my choice I would take them all home.

🐾🐾🐾🐾This is by far one of the greatest places I know. My dog had something that was fatal and needed emergency surgery. I had no money and if she didn’t have the surgery most likely wasn’t gonna make it By morning time. She had something called pyometra. They help me cover what they Could and I was going to make payments on the rest. then I got a call today saying that a couple places took care of the bill for me. Diane really came through when I needed it the most and help me save my baby girl Luna I can’t thank her enough or the people that help me pay for the bill. But it wasn’t for Diane trying so hard to help me and Luna. I don’t kno What I would’ve done. 🐾🐾🐾

Such a wonderful place and a wonderful experience adopting our kitten from them. They really care about their animals there. They all look to be very well taken care of and the facility was very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new addition to their family.

Great group of people, we got a puppy and had the hardest time choosing which one out of the litter. The crew was so nice and understanding. I'm not going back, but only because we found what we wanted. Definitely recommend a visit

You want your dogs to suffer? Take em here, these clowns don’t care about your animals one bit trust me. The outreach director also was making fun of special needs children and adults. Our dog needs help and I reached out for help and this lady was absolutely ignorant . Don’t donate or help them cause they can do nothing for your animals

Wonderful facility - brand new, spacious, clean building. Caring employees. I saw a picture of an adorable little Chihuahua mix and drove all the way there from Cleveland to get him. Monty (AKA Buddy) is the perfect match for our family. He's a sweet little dog who loves everyone. So glad we found him!

Just got a little guy named Spot although we changed it to Zeke since he was a puppy. Superb caring and knowledgeable staff. Animals were well taken care of. Got extras including bed, treats, and a few other things plus neutered, micro chipped, and up to date with vaccinations, dewormer, and flea and tick. All for $200!! Older dogs are $150.Go and check it out you won't be disappointed.Zeke (white and brown) with his new buddy Cooper!

What a wonderful place for gods creatures. It was clean and the animals were all healthy. The staff was a delight. I believe in adoption before the puppy mills. If you want a fur baby, please go to them and support their wonderful work!

If you are looking for a new family member (pet), stop here FIRST. The staff is great, the place is nice and clean and they have adorable little fur balls that need a great home. One of the few places that I will go to.

The staff was super friendly, fur babies are in great shape , little post on each cage is a brief discretion of them . They also have a small area that sell pet products. Large spacious parking ,and handicap accessible. Also very clean inside and out.

Well, the first time I came here, you had to make an appointment/fill out an application to see a dog. You were not allowed to just walk in the area where the dogs were being held, the reason being they said it cause the dogs to stress out! (How they knew that is beyond my knowledge). 2nd time, they lifted that policy, and you were able to walk back in the area... however, we came for a kitten this time. Still had to fill out an application, which I think is odd, but here's the KICKER.. ONLY ALLOWED TO SEE 3 KITTENS PER VISIT? Why are these rules being made? If I knew I could only see 3 kittens at 1 visit, how am I going to find the right one for me/us?Other than that. The environment has always been clean, and the staff was happy 😊.

Staff is very knowledgeable about the animals and their temperaments, and they truly care about the welfare of their charges. They try to match animals not only to SAFE forever homes, but also to families with whom they are compatible. We adopted our dog there and are looking forward to doing it again.

Very clean, helpful people. Unfortunately, lots of dogs to choose from. We adopted a beautiful 10 week old Lab/ Husky puppy. She's adorable! Lots of puppy energy, but was house broken in 3 days! Too cute! Worth the work, always know pups are a LOT if work,but that work will pay off with by having the Best friend you will ever have for life! Wonderful work AWL! 👏 👌 🙌
