Very friendly & professional staff! Took my male cat- who some ahole DUMPED in Kroger parking lot on Sept 2, ONLY 2 weeks old, cruel heartless monster, I rescued in middle of moving here from Colorado! Soooo, at that age u even have to stimulate them to pee & poop, feed special formula by bottle! Yeah, a baby someone DUMPED TO DIE! So I scooped him up, and he’s the most lovable cat I’ve ever had😻😻Anyway, got him neutered- which would help stop unwanted kittens- and they took great care of him. Wait til at least 6 months old to help prevent male urinary problems- too small of urethra. He was totally awake & seemed painfree that evening. Highly recommend. Was $100, lower than most local vets! He’s named after my late Marine hubby - Ranger, which was his nickname. I’m lucky to have found him.

We feel that bruns over medicated our sweet 4 yr old girl jess. She had a respiratory issue. They gave her 6 steroid shots and a percscription for more. She never recover and had a heart attack and died. So we feel that we never seen the same doctor ever. Will never go back there again. We thought they were doing the right thing but it turned out nit ti be the case. Poor handling of our young girl.

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS!!!! Do NOT take your pets here...for most people, our pets are like family, they are like our children, and when you take them to the vet, you expect the staff to treat them as such and let me just say... this office is not that place. My parents were dealing with a sick dog, he became suddenly ill with a cough and a high fever so they took him to this office for an emergency visit on 12/23/23 to be checked out (mind you, my parents have been going here for years with their animals). They ran a few tests and couldn't figure out what was going on, so they put him on some antibiotics and sent him home. My parents gave the medicine to their dog religiously, but he did not get any better, he actually got worse. Suddenly he was unable to open his eyes due to infection and couldn't walk. My parents took him back to their emergency vet on 12/31/23 (in which they made it seem like it was an issue to send someone in there to see their dog), but they evaluated the dog, did blood work and noticed that he basically had no white blood cells and his other blood work was all over the place. They determined that it was most likely organ failure or cancer at that point and there was nothing more that they could do for him. So my parents took him home because they wanted him to die at home in peace, surrounded by familiarity and the things that he loved. Unfortunately, some time passed and he did not pass away so my dad ended up taking him back into Bruns to be put to sleep. At this point, their dog could not move at all so my dad was able to get him loaded into the car with the help of my brother, but when he arrived at Bruns he asked the receptionist if he could be put to sleep in the back of my dad's car so they didn't have to move him and hurt him even more... my dad just wanted him to be comfortable. The receptionist acted as if this was an inconvenience to them, as did Dr. Bruns. Mind you, anyone that has ever had to put their pet to sleep knows how gut wrenching that entire process is, and to have staff that act as if you are an inconvenience to them, is ridiculous and heartless. Dr. Bruns eventually came outside to my dad's vehicle with the medicine to put Brutus to sleep and he did not say one consoling word to my dad, not one single word at all. He started to inject Brutus with the medicine and was cracking jokes with the vet tech while doing it...as if it was a good time to be making jokes as someone's best friend is being put to sleep.. He finished injecting the meds and just walked back inside without saying anything to my dad but the vet tech was still standing there so my dad asked if it was done and she informed him that he didn't grab enough medicine and that he had to go get more. My dad was trying to console brutus because of course he was scared and did not know what was happening, and when Dr Bruns came back out with the medicine, he informed my dad that Brutus needed flipped over so he could inject the medicine into his other leg. Before my dad could do anything, Dr Bruns forcefully picked Brutus up and slammed him down on his other side, meanwhile, Brutus was screaming in pain because of how he moved him. He had absolutely no compassion or sympathy for the entire situation, which is absolutely insane to me. At this point, my dad could barely stand because of how Brutus was screaming in pain, and just wanted it to be over. Once Dr Bruns was done injecting the meds, he mumbled out a very quiet "sorry" and went inside...this experience has absolutely traumatized my dad, because this dog was his best friend. This was the hardest thing he's ever had to go through. I'm not one to ever leave reviews, but people NEED to know what this place is doing, they NEED to know how they treat their customers and patients in time of heartbreak. We will NEVER be returning to Bruns, and I strongly advise if you love your pets, to never take your animals here!

Took my new puppy to get his first shots, vaccinations, and flea pill. The bill was roughly $150. We showed up early, and they took us back early. The appointment took less than 20 minutes. Very nice and knowledgeable individuals at this veterinarian.

I love coming here! Always greeted with a smile! They know you, talk, and make you feel at home. That's what matters most to me. Prices are fair and they work with you if in a bind. My friend took her cat there with a broken leg and they put a cast on her for 9 weeks without changing the wrap or anything. They took the wrap off today and sent her home with “hot spot” spray and Veraflox, which is for a skin infection. As you can clearly tell, now it needs to be amputated 💔

I brought my cat in because she got very sick almost overnight with anemia. The vet didn't think she'd live without a blood transfusion. He gave her some injections and sent us home to think about what we were going to do. Nova made a full recovery and is living with my in laws because my father in is her favorite person so grateful for Bruns they took great care of my girl

Our English Mastiff, George has been limping on his hind legs for a really long time. Another vet office wanted to do a $5000 surgery that would require months of rehab and limited movement. I heard about Dr Deeter at Bruns from a friend. He did the first in a series of 6 laser treatments to George’s legs and he actually walked up our stairs last night to see what we were doing on his own. He hasn’t been up our stairs in at least a month despite being on pain pills and joint supplements. Dr Deeter has given us hope for our big boy and given him his quality of life back at an really reasonable price. Thanks Dr Deeter.

The prices of care are amazing and pray they continue to stay that way <3 A+++ care and price points to be able to take care of my baby, I'm forever grateful to not be so scared that I'm not going to be able to afford the bill when unexpected things happen! Now if they start accepting care credit would be amazing or payments if you don't have the complete bill payment on hand so you don't have to lose/give up your baby. I'm extremely grateful that my unexpected trips there I had enough to cover the bill with everything that's happening in life right now! :( I understand not doing payments cause people will take advantage and the office/vet might never get the rest of payment. Vets are stressed, not appreciated, the school bill to become a vet is high for the pay they make usually takes years to pay that off and technically make any money :( APPRECIATE YOUR VETS PEOPLE BEFORE WE HAVE NO VETS LEFT TO CARE FOR OUR BABIES!

I used to love this place, but they have a contracted vet there that will up charge $15 for a cat doing a minor scratch. This vet was also extremely rough with my cat. The vet showed no care for the owners feelings. The vet also disregarded pictures that I took of what was wring with my cat. This vet also talks down to owners as if he believes the owner is dumb. 100% I will NEVER bring my animals back to this place.

Amazing with my animal. Honestly surprised with how fast they got me and my dog spot in and out. Never would have thought it was gonna b that fast. Truly appreciate this company they did me av great service today. I was honestly worried my dog was severely sick. But they gave him a worm pill and some tube of stuff to eat twice daily gave him his vaccines and sent us on our way in less then 15 minutes. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! LOVE THEM

I took my 3-month Poodle puppy here because the breeder brings his dogs here. I switched from another vet in Greenville that I absolutely loved but his prices are pretty high compared to this one. The first time I went to Bruns I had some short little doctor who was very quiet didn't say a whole lot, he seemed a little indifferent, and I wasn't comfortable with him. I really didn't know what was going on. Second time I went in I had Dr. Bruns and I was impressed with him. Very nice. Took my dog there a month or so later for grooming. Not impressed! Groomer said she was the best six month old puppy she ever did. She looked okay when she was done and I even tipped her but the fact that it only took two hours from start to finish....hmmm. After I got her home and checked her out closer I was very disappointed! I asked for clean feet and face, her face was good, could have been better. Her feet were pathetic! She still had hard mud caked to the hair between her toes. On a poodle you shave the hair between the toes and the underfoot. She went there fairly clean and combed out to make the job easier and cheaper I hoped. I have my doubts as to whether she was bathed or not. The only reason I took her to a groomer to begin with is because she is a puppy and although I they have groomed poodles in the past , I felt like a professional could get her used to it easier than I could. Needless to say I will be doing my own grooming from now on. The best part was I was charged $65. When I asked prices, they said they started $45, but she's only about 35 lb so she's not even full grown yet and I feel that was kind of high but what are you to do when you ask them how much it is and that's what they tell you after the work is done? I invested in a grooming arm to use with a table I had and will finish her grooming job as soon as it arrives!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! we sent my moms 3 year old, perfectly healthy english mastiff in to be spayed and they gave her the wrong anesthetic that is poisonous to mastiffs! then knowingly sent her home while she was nowhere near stable, she couldn’t even stand up or walk. she passed away later that evening. when my mom confronted them about it they were very passive aggressive and lied to her! my dad had to go into the office and ask to see her charts only to discover they gave her 3 different anesthetics that are poisonous to mastiffs!! they showed zero remorse and said “we’ve given it to mastiffs before and they were fine”.

Wonderful!!! Cheapest place around to get spade, but that doesn’t mean the work is cheap. My 2 year old husky had absolutely no issues. The incision site never became infected, and healed nicely. It is hardly even noticeable (and once her hair grows back nobody will see it). I am beyond impressed and pleased. It was such a headache getting into somewhere that would be able to get her in soon. Bruns got her in within 2 weeks, and on top of that it was only $175 for the surgery, pain meds, and cone!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for taking great care of my baby!
