Kept nice. Stocked well. Nice employees. Nice curbside assistants and service as well. Prices are a lot, most expensive grocery store in the Lorain/Amherst area. You can get more for your honey at Aldi but some items aren't offered there or you at times want/need name brand. Meijer is not much cheaper either though so it's dealers choice

Went in to vermilion pharmacy Friday 3/22 approx 1pm blood clot meds for a DVT I have.. explain having trouble filling the meds that are critical to the long dark hair skinny lady working. She immediately tells me that there having problems with secondary insurance and that’s that I said well it’s from the ER for a trial pack that I really need she proceeds to get a bigger attitude saying she knows her job and I don’t need to explain anything. And my life is on the line with this DVT in my leg and right out of the gate this lady has attitude and doesn’t want to hear or help me. Horrible horrible to be in medical industry and treat a customer this way. Drug mart called me back and found a solution so I would never ever use your pharmacy and will get my family to change as well as any friends and anyone I have contact with until the day I die just know that. What a disgrace!

...I love how when I walk in here it is clean! so clean! ... the staff is super helpful WITHOUT being a nuisance! and the cashiers are SUPER FUN, FUNNY, AND QUICK!CON: the prices aren't too appeasing... I wish there was some way to make the local grocery store(s) more affordable to the paycheck to paycheck kind of person!

The only bright spot here are the team members. They are helpful and they work very hard. The produce is poor in terms of quality and selection. The selection of brand products is slim. Prices are high for the quality offered.

Nice grocery store with a very friendly and helpful staff but the prices are pretty steep compared to other stores on the North Coast.The parking lot could use a face-lift. 🤔

5 Stars just because of the cart pusher that was working today, about 5/6pm. He was very nice and helpful getting all the carts in the parking lot. He saw that I was standing next to my car talking with the lady parked next to mine, with the empty cart, I was about to take it to the cart bin, he came up & asked me if I would like him to take it inside. He definitely was working smarter and harder today. I saw him riding the motorized shopping cart into the store, as he pulled a few carts along with him. That was impressive to us. Very nice to see him take pride in his work.

Cashier was coughing, not wearing a mask, and complaining of a headache while telling customers she plans to leave her job. Did she really cough without covering her mouth or wearing a mask? Yes, she did. This is how you get covid.Also, the pregnant brunette (assume she's pregnant because of huge round belly?) that stocks the produce section is not worth trying to ask where to find things. She literally won't reply.

I'm pretty disappointed at how rude a few cashier's are there. I was doing a self check out and my credit card had expired. Which was my fault, I got a new card and never switched it out (busy and just totally forgot). So I let the cashier know my card expired and I had to go home and get the new one that I had that was mailed to me. She said ok, to just come to customer service when I come back. As I was leaving I heard another cashier say "she isn't coming back" followed by the other cashier saying "I know"... Was that really necessary? When I DID come back, I let her know how rude they were. That people's cards do expire and stuff happens. Of course she played the deny game and as I left once again, I heard laughing etc... Giving 2 stars because I usually have always had a good experience up until now.

Super Friendly Staff. The ladies at the bakery told me they DO make the doughnuts there, appl fritters, WOW. At the self checkout, the screen wasn't liking the day, but then arrived help. Vantastic service.Yummy, YUMMY Apple Fritters. You BETTER go & try them!!! 😊😁😊😊

This is great for a small town grocery store. We go there for things like milk and bread, lunch meat. I find some of the prices are expensive

They get two stars today for encouraging me to order a fresh cake on Tuesday for pickup Thursday rather than buying the one that was already there, and not telling me the Tuesday sale price would no longer be in effect. They only get the second star because the cake was good.

I am moving to the area and thought I would give this store a try. I've been a regular Kroger shopper in Sandusky and Las Vegas where I was living previously. The Kroger chains in Vegas and Sandusky were similar with fair prices. During my visit, I found prices on produce to be a dollar higher per pound (prices on peppers, celery, lettuce, and tomatoes). These are just a few examples of the price variances I found. The store conditions were not up to my expectations, either. Looking up at the ceiling when I entered; stains and mold on the ceiling. This is a place selling fresh food? The appearance does not instill food safety confidence to shoppers. In fact, it appears this retailer doesn't care about the people they serve. They have no olive bar, butcher with prime cuts and fish, and no gourmet cheeses. What they do sell is priced higher than the better quality products at Kroger in Sandusky or Heinens in Avon. This is very unfortunate for the Vermilion community. In fact, I feel that this retailer is preying on the elderly citizens in the community who are unable to travel to other communities for groceries.

One of the older and smaller stores but that makes it better. Staff is very helpful. Produce knows the veggies and how to use them. Meat counter staff has good recommendations. Quick service. Bakery can order what you need. Liquor store staff can answer almost any questions. Great selection of ethnic foods.

This store is so beyond disgusting!! No cleaning standards here at all. People sick and hacking all over the store, beyond grose checkouts, just dirty. Had to wipe down the checkout. They obviously don't have any standards for cleaning here. Just shop some place else, it is not worth getting sick.

The bagger jammed 18 items into 2 plastic bags, including V8 juice and a 28 oz can. I didn't notice because he put them in my cart. The first bag immediately broke when I lifted it into my car. The second one I was prepared for.

Practically nothing of value compared to a kroger or meijer. That said, their fuel perks stick around much longer than kroger's points do and you can redeem them for a percentage off your groceries.
